Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Cénac-et-Saint-Julien

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Christiane's apartment is in a beautiful location and is well placed for visiting numerous attractions in the Lot and the Dordogne. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. Christiane was a superb hostess. She gave us a very warm welcome, explained everything to us carefully and was extremely helpful. I can wholeheartedly recommend both Christiane and her apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay. Christophe was very friendly and we enjoyed our visit with him on the terrace. A nice breakfast was provided that we really appreciated. We were able to park our motorcycle right in the enclosed yard. Thank you to Christophe and his wife for sharing their lovely space!

WOW. What a place! Our stay could not have been better. Granted the sun was shining all weekend which always makes things better but aside from that the property and surrounding area is breathtaking. We ate in the first night but then decided to eat in the restaurant the next two nights. The food was outstanding (thanks Able) and the service was exceptional (thanks Anna) A very kind and welcoming family that made our stay everything we had hoped for. Will definitely be back. P.s great for the kids. A huge garden for them to run around in, swimming pool, trampoline and slackline. Hours of entertainment.

Un endroit top pour un repos total au milieu de la nature et des chevaux 🐎 ❤️ Un endroit bien pensé avec tout le confort et de la belle qualité. Nous avons adoré chiller dans cette cabane dans les arbres. La literie est top et l’endroit vraiment paisible. Nous y reviendrons 🥰

Très beau pigeonnier dans un cadre magnifique et reposant. Super petit déj et disponibilité de Christelle nous avons d'ailleurs déjà recommander ce lieu a d'autres personnes.

Chambre d’hôte impeccable et Brigitte est aux petits soins pour ces invités. Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec pain et croissant chauds. La famille de Brigitte est accueillante. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. La maison est située en pleine nature dans un cadre très reposant. Je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Nice place to stay, the pool is clean and the room too

Florence was a lovely host, she tired so hard with her English and we muddle through with ease. The house was beautiful and the pool was lovely eventhough the sun didn’t really shine for our stay. Breakfast was a different both mornings and all homemade which was a lovely touch. We had a cheese and charcuterie board on one evening which Florence provided, oh my god it was huge but delicious, it was nice to share a bottle of wine knowing you only had to walk back to your room rather than drive. We also shared the evening and breakfast with other guests which was also nice. (Google translate was handy ) The area is very pretty with lots of beautiful villages. Thankyou Florence for a lovely stay.

Corine and Patrick were both friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The chateau was beautifully kept and peaceful. The grounds included space to walk or take a swim in the pool. The breakfast was exceptional from the beautiful china and linen, to the home baking. Extremely relaxing, a great place to unwind. We were spoilt. Thank you.

Environnement très agréable, calme, permettant de profiter de tout à souhait. Hôtes très accueillants, arrangeants, bonnes recommandations. Logement de qualité. Petit déjeuner avec produits locaux. Parfait.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mathilde et Martin. l'endroit est sublime, la maison très chaleureuse. Les espaces communs sont très très très agréables à vivre, on se sent presque dans la nature en cuisinant. L'immense table invite à de longues discussions avec les différents hôtes de la maison. C'est moderne, accueillant, apaisant, lumineux, convivial. Nous étions avec notre bébé d'un an. Elle a pu gambader partout en toute tranquillité. Tout était prévu pour accueillir des enfants. Merci ! Et ça a été une chouette rencontre avec Martin et Mathilde. Vous avez réussi à faire un très beau projet de cette maison, bravo ! Pour résumer : nous avons passé notre séjour à nous demander avec qui nous reviendrons passer une semaine ou deux. Nous avons tellement aimé que ça donne déjà envie de revenir ! À la revoyure !

The house and vast gardens could not have been more beautiful! The manor house has a chateau on either side of it. The Magnolia Room was luxurious with windows all around and pretty views from each one. We had the run of the gardens and most of the house; Sarah and Glenn were friendly and helpful. There are great walks and drives from the house. Autoire is small and charming, in glorious countryside. In cold weather the house was chilly, and I lacked drawers or shelves to put away clothes, although I had hanging space. I especially enjoyed strolling in the flowery garden, watching the birds fly over the stream, and petting the donkeys.

Manuela et Manu sont des hôtes naturellement charmant qui savent accueillir dans les règles de l art, leur logement est un petit cocon au sein d une Corrèze chaleureuse, un très bon point de départ pour visiter le secteur ou pour se reposer dans cette oasis, ils connaissent le coin par cœur et sont d excellents conseils,

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Aurélia & Julien à Autoire. Le manoir est magnifique, le village ravissant, la cascade très belle ! Nous avons apprécié l’accueil chaleureux, l’esthétisme du lieu, la piscine bienvenue en août ainsi que les recommandations de nos hôtes (coup de cœur pour les restaurants: Voyage d’Ernestine et Philia). Nous reviendrons séjourner avec plaisir dans la magnifique chambre Leda !

Tout était parfait, j ai eu un très bon accueil, la chambre est parfaite et il y a un magnifique point de vue .Je recommande.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le gite qu ils proposent, l espace piscine et cuisine extérieur nous ont permis de très bons moments de détente avec nos enfants. Christianne et Wilco sont aux petits soins et toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils. Le gite est parfaitement situé pour visiter le Périgord noir. Un vrai havre de paix. Merci 🙏

We were welcomed by our hosts like members of the family. We were treated so kindly from the moment we arrived. We were hoping for a short quiet rest from a motor tour of France. We received a mini retreat, nothing was too much trouble and many things provided were above and beyond. I’m excited to return and visit Delphine and Geoff as they commence the next chapter at Maison Cistus.
