Barefoot Barn

LisaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had 2 great nights here. Sally was an amazing host, the barn is such an idyllic hideaway & it is clear that barefoot barn has been lovingly & uniquely created. There are some great touches that make it so personal within the decor & it is clear that this space is a labour of love. You have everything you need & we enjoyed having what we needed to buy food & prepare a relaxed dinner. The bed, bedding, towels & little touches such as beautiful handwash & shower gel were all luxurious. The meadow is stunning & a path is clearly mown to guide you through the beautiful surroundings which lead to the firepit & glorious sea view. The view of the stars at night is so clear, it is magical & even in heavy rainy weather, it was blissful to lie on the bed listening to the patter of rain on the barn whilst looking out at the beautifully kept garden. The barn is a 2min drive from the beach & is located ideally to explore the area. We loved it so much that we extended our stay in Cornwall.

Mountain Ash Cottage

RayanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Nick’s cabin was perfect for getting away from London for a few days and back into nature! The place was easy to find, accessible from local airports, and matches the description exactly. The cabin itself looks recently refurbished and modern but without giving up its charm. The town of Kenmare is about a 10 minute drive away for restaurants and shops and there are several incredible hikes within a one hour drive. I highly recommend Nick’s place for anyone looking to Ireland for a weekend away (or longer) and definitely hope to be back again soon!

The Haven View Chalet, Crackington Haven, Cornwall

HelenaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This little gem of a place was just what I was looking for when I was searching for accommodation in Cornwall. All my activities for the weekend was around St Austell but couldn’t find the right accommodation. I wanted a little place with a sea view and this chalet ticked all the boxes, it was the rocking chairs that sold it. Felt very homely and there was a large information pack left with so many clear instructions and suggestions of what to do locally. Bear was a fantastic host who communicated very well and responded exceptionally to my messages. Felt very safe and secluded with a view to absolutely die for. It’s just like the pictures but 10 times better. There’s a fantastic village pub where I ate both Friday and Saturday night and despite them being fully booked, they still managed to accommodate and food was out of this world. I would highly recommend this chalet and I will most definitely be back again but next time I think I’ll stay a few more days.

Traditional stone cottage in idyllic South Kerry

BreedaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I don’t know where to start with this amazing cottage ! Firstly Des was so responsive and flexible with regards to check in as we had a 1year old with us. He met us after we had settled in and gave us local recommendations. He had a lovely welcoming bag of fresh local bread , jam , butter , eggs and milk. Oh and some wine ! The location itself is about 12mins drive from Kenmare as we were down for a family wedding but wanted to stay in a cottage in peaceful surroundings. That is certainly what it was. You could hear the birds singing and it was so relaxing. The cottage was spotless while also being homely and comfortable. The double bed was amazing and Des kindly provided a travel cot even equipped with a pillow and blanket for our toddler !! We don’t have words great enough for this air b&b. If in doubt , 1000% book !!! Thanks again Des !

Ark Ranch Treehouse, rainforest oasis in West Cork

Loved staying at Aga’s treehouse! Very easy to find the location & quick response times. We received fresh bread in the morning, and were able to have close interactions with her donkeys which we loved! Very accommodating & provided us with fresh towels or anything we needed in the treehouse. Would love to stay here again in the future & recommend it to anyone in the area to stay here!

Kuro Cabin

We had the most wonderful stay at Kuro Cabin, Vix was super helpful and attentive and the cabin was magical. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, everything has a purpose and everything has been thought out, the land is beautiful and well looked after. Not a single negative thought comes to mind, we had a truly peaceful and wonderful stay.
