We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

We stayed at Rui's and we loved the house, better than in the photos! the house is very beautiful and lacks nothing, small welcome basket very nice,thank you very much! we were with our baby , they are prepared his little bed with blankets and a special towel for him, it's very friendly on your part very clean and very well furnished ☺️ house. it was a wonderful stay! we'll come back, that's for sure. The house, with an added care in the details, is very comfortable, clean and central for the tours we scheduled. The salamander fire kept the house at a very pleasant temperature, when we had 5 degrees on the street and the wind to cut. Mr. Bernardino was very helpful and gave us recommendations of places to visit. The internet in the village is weak. Combining the fact that the vodafone network is non-existent, it makes it a perfect place to rest, but not for working online. We already thought about returning because they will soon open the Mondego Walkways, with one of the entrances a 10-minute walk from the house.

we had a very pleasant week in this quiet house with very beautiful landscapes. the pool nearby refreshed us well and made the children happy. the house is typical and nice the outdoor shower is very nice in summer. Teresa is a very nice person and very available.

Place is great in a quiet location in the countryside with good ammenities including pool and outdoor seating. The third bed option could be a bit more comfy (pull out bed) but otherwise everything was wonderful. João is a really friendly host and allowed us to pick blueberries for breakfast which were delicious. Recommend staying here!

The place was better than expected. Joao and Susana make sure you feel at home, weither it is in communication or in the well equipped house with attention to detail. (In real everything was more beatiful than in the pictures). The farm is situated in between small hills, far from city busyness into a calm oases. We recommend taking a walk up the hill behind the house untill the top, it's an easy walk with an amazing view. You need a car to get there, for dinner you would have to drive 15-30 minutes (or ofcourse cook at home). Google often says a place is open, but often it is not :) Susana can give you the right places. There were cats walking around which was a big plus for us. They show you the way around a bit and they ofcourse like the attention. Unfortunately for us the weather was too cold for a good swim, but the pool is quite big and we would love to return to try it for a little bit longer ;)! We were surprised by this place in a good way, it's another beautiful part of Portugal and staying at Joao and Susanas place, makes it perfect.

Ideal place to replenish your energy. The pool area is great for relaxing. The house is comfortable and has everything you need. D. Teresa is very friendly and always available to help. I recommend it.

It was a fantastic stay, in a different space but very cozy and perfect to escape the city. The home was beautiful and so was all the common spaces. The great pool and perfect for relaxing in privacy and in the middle of nature. Thank you ☺️

We had a great stay at Antionio's place. Very relaxing setting on the edge of the village. So nice to be able to let our dog run freely in a fenced compound with beautiful fruit trees. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Very pleasant stay; very good welcome from Viriato and her mother , welcome gifts with good jam , local cheese. House with pool, secluded in the hills , quiet with views of the mountains . Ideal for the dog! Very satisfied.
