Holiday rentals with breakfast in Cecil County

Our stay was perfect - like a luxury suite for a portion of the cost and no worries about other people around you making noise. Teddi is very nice and the place was super clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

This was the first time we stayed in a private suite within someone’s home. We weren’t sure how this would go but from the minute Mina greeted us, we knew we made the right choice! Mina was so welcoming, and her home and our private suite (bed/bath) were wonderful! Super clean, super comfortable, and super stylish! The entire home was just bathed in a peaceful feeling. And the pool…how nice to have pool access! Mina’s two dogs, Daisy and Bowser, are so well behaved and if you’re up for it, they do love a good rub behind the ears and some extra attention. If not, they are perfectly happy to give you space as well. The location is close to a lot of cute towns and amenities (Wegman’s is a short drive, as is downtown Bel Air and Aberdeen). We will definitely look to stay with Mina when we return to the area.

very much enjoyed our stay... complete with complimentary fresh bread, bacon/eggs, and jar of farm fresh milk! bedrooms clean and comfortable; really only 3 private bdrms, other is open floor space for air mattresses; full kitchen clean, tho could use a few more real coffee mugs! :) nice place to stay, not far from local activities; nice park/playground/picnic/fishing/boating area nearby (Muddy Run Park), and a must stop: Evans Chocolate Candies (Willow Street, PA, just up the road); thanks to Host David for prompt and friendly communications!

My family and I loved staying at Sharon’s place - the beds are comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while visiting the area with 2 kids. The Speckled Hen across the street was fantastic - great food, very convenient and we especially loved the private playground around the back. I didn’t love how busy the road was, but overall it was a pretty minor flaw. We would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly neighbors and very enjoyable stay. We felt like we were part of the neighborhood. Dock with active Osprey nest 150 feet away was fantastic. Many birds. Would definitely stay there again. Also stocked with snacks, coffee and a bottle of wine are big pluses too.

My wife and I came into town for Homecoming at Morgan. The house location was perfect, and it's easy to get on the highway. This place was definitely clean and smelled amazing. My wife and I were very impressed when we walked on the floor there was absolutely no dirt or debris on our feet (that's clean!). I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at Dwayne’s lovely house! The property was comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the peaceful, quiet setting of Old New Castle which was perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle. The view of the river was breathtaking and made every moment truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy nature, tranquility, and comfort in one place. Barbara was wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. She even had wine waiting for us. We loved the apartment and it was perfect for our needs! We look forward to staying there again!

Honestly, Julie is a wonderful host. She made my stay in Delaware comfortable. She bought some groceries for me before and after I arrived in Delaware which lasted two weeks. The apartment was neat and had everything you will need to cook. I highly recommend Julie’s place. She’s extremely patient. Her husband and dog are very friendly as well. If you need anything never hesitate to ask Julie. She’s the definition of an excellent Airbnb host.

Randall and Wilma were incredibly gracious hosts. I had a short stay for a wedding and they helped me get settled, gave me recommendations around the area, and made check in seamless. Wish I had more time to actually walk around the property and absorb the view (it’s truly a family owned farm and probably the most peaceful, quietest stays I’ve ever had) and chat more with them. They really went out of their way to make you feel at home and welcomed.

Karin is great! The suite we stayed in was lovely and well worth the dollars. Would stay here again!

The apartment and host were both outstanding. David was exceptionally proactive and communicative, even assisting me with directions to the property and its private/secure parking. The studio itself is very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks, toiletries, and laundry detergent that will ensure a stay even more convenient. The location is ideal—close to I-95 and just minutes from Canton, Fells Point, and the Inner Harbor. I stayed here while attending an Orioles game, and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend both David and his studio, and I’ll definitely stay here again in the future.

We had another amazing stay at Sara’s place and already know we’ll be making this an annual tradition. The space is warm, spotless, and incredibly comfortable — it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. We loved starting our mornings with coffee, homemade treats, and those gorgeous dining room views. The swing set is such a fun touch, and the ever-expanding family of goats continue to be a favorite part of our stay. Everything about this visit was just as special as we remembered. Already looking forward to next year!

Naomi place was very nice. She has made a beautiful bed and breakfast in her home. Her home warm and inviting. She has themed room. Ours was the beach. Which was perfect for me. Naomi was very hospitality. She made breakfast in the morning with a refreshing home brewed tea. We had a delightful conversation with the other guest that happened to be from our area as well. If I’m in the area I would stay at Naomi’s again.

Sira and Bob are the nicest people you can hope to meet. There home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will definitely come back. I recommend this home, if you are ever in Dover.

Renate's Black Horse Inn Airbnb has been a destination for three years. We participate in a citizen science study and we use the Black Horse Inn as our home base. Each year the hours of participation vary so the flexibility of our host is greatly appreciated. It has also been a benefit to have our host present during our stay. Her family has taken an interest in what we do and we in turn have learned a lot about the area where the Black Horse Inn is located. Renate is an exceptional host! Adorable little farm house, cute and relaxing. Perfect little yard for my dog to hang out, porch with chairs and a grill to relax at the end of the day. Super easy to find and she was very clear with I instructions. Would definitely stay again!
