Holiday rentals in Caubon-Saint-Sauveur

We had a lovely couple of nights in Linda’s gîte. We at on the terrace on the first evening, and had a wonderful dinner in Marmande on the second. We loved the pool.

Claire's home is quite spectacular & certainly has the wow factor from the interior, beautiful decor, views to the setting at the foot of the castle. It all felt very special. We were a party of 13 adults but more than enough space as the layout & different areas of the house enabled us to spread around, almost making it difficult to choose where to spend most time! Sunsets from the terrace were stunning & colour changing castle good fun. The house is super well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen gadgets & plenty of crockery - great for self catering as we did. Ample parking & really easy access into the small town of Duras - walkable in a couple of minutes & everything else you might need a short drive away. Claire was friendly & helpful from the outset with good communication that was 3 way with Florence who greeted us & was our friendly go to whilst there. We had 1 or 2 minor issues but Claire was quick to help so didn't spoil our fabulous week. Would highly recommend!

Het huis van Janie en Hugh is een gezellige thuis. Alles wat je nodig hebt om je voor een tijdje onder te dompelen in een relax modus is aanwezig. Janie is een super lieve gastvrouw die precies wist welke tips we nodig hadden. Ondanks het wisselvallige weer hebben we erg genoten.

The House is gorgeous with a close attention to details. We had a very pleasant stay. The area is very quiet and the garden and pools are very peaceful. We were traveling with a 2 years old and everything was provided for her,including some nice books (she is know starting to speak English ;) ). She loved collecting the eggs every morning, seeing the chicken and the frogs from the pound. The house is definitely kid friendly, but as every well decorated house, would recommend to watch the kids carefully, if yours are as curious as ours. Lora and Rob were great host, thoughtful, giving us a lot of useful information and being always available. Merci! Marie on behalf of the family

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine chez Denis. La villa est très spacieuse, propre et bien équipée. La literie est impeccable. Le lieux est calme, la terrasse extérieure est magnifique et permet de profiter de la grande piscine qui est très bien exposée. La villa est bien adaptée pour les jeunes enfants. Merci à Denis et sa sœur Nicole pour leur accueil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by Andrew and Nicki. The property is spectacular, offering views over the stunning surrounding vineyards. The windmill has been renovated to a high standard, with a sophisticated and high quality finish to appliances and furniture . All amenities have been well considered and thought out, creating a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend tasing the selected wines on offer in the property!
