This stone built single story little cottage is set in a court yard that was part of the farm that supplied food for the Marquess of Bute at Cardiff Castle just half a mile away. This charming old cottage was probably an animal barn. A Perfect quiet location in the centre of the vibrant city. it has its own WIFI. Please note that it is NOT Blackweir Terrace (which is about 200 yards the other side of the road) but Google maps have overruled me! See directions after you book.

We had a lovely and very welcoming stay with Greg & Ingrid. It was a pleasure to be able to stay and for it to feel homey, clean and well looked after. Anne and Frank were very welcoming into their home and met me at the door with a fresh cup of tea and showed me my room and my own shower room across the corridor. The room was spacious and private with a comfy double bed. They provided a lovely breakfast spread of toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt and jams and were responsive with messages through Airbnb. Thank you!

Lovely, quiet room on a peaceful street. Free parking on the road. Able to walk to Cardiff city centre. John and his partner were warm, kind and helpful. As a woman travelling alone I felt very safe. Access to the kitchen and beautiful garden were much appreciated. John went above and beyond to make this a true home from home experience. Thank you!

You wont go wrong spending time with Kim and Phil who are excellent hosts. A lovely room in a period house with private ensuite. Very welcoming and helpful, with those little touches that make such a difference. In a quiet residential area walkable for Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Castle and Principality Stadium. Definitely my first place to look when I am next staying in Cardiff
