Chalet holiday rentals in Catania

Casa molto bella, calda e accogliente. Classico chalet in pieno centro, vicino a tutti i tipi di servizi e impianti da sci. Molto curata nei dettagli con soggiorno ampio e zona camino incantevole. L'host Anthony è stato gentile e disponibile nel fornirci tutte le informazioni necessarie per il nostro soggiorno. Spettacolare durante l'inverno ma perfetto per godersi la Sila in tutte le stagioni.

Ambrogio was a great host, he let us check in earlier, even picked us up at the train station. Big lemon garden gives the place a special feel, we enjoyed it so much. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed.

(English translation below) Monica e suo marito Salvatore sono stati dei padroni di casa fantastici, estremamente disponibili e disponibili. Ci hanno dato un caloroso benvenuto (e ci hanno persino regalato dei dolci tipici di una panetteria locale) e sono stati molto flessibili con il check-in e il check-out. Mia moglie ed io siamo stati da loro solo una notte, ma avremmo voluto fermarci più a lungo per diversi motivi: innanzitutto per la posizione estremamente bella e tranquilla, immersa in una natura meravigliosa. La casa è circondata da un frutteto con meli, peri e susini (e altri alberi da frutto), così abbiamo potuto gustare dell'ottima frutta, perfettamente matura, appena colta. Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Lo chalet dispone di tutti i servizi per un soggiorno confortevole, tra cui un patio esterno con vista sul frutteto, un soppalco con letti comodi e una cucina ben attrezzata. Un altro vantaggio è che lo chalet è abbastanza in alto (circa 1300 metri sul livello del mare), quindi la temperatura era incantevole nonostante il caldo dell'estate siciliana. Questo è il luogo ideale da cui partire per esplorare lo splendido Monte Etna e le città vicine. Monica and her husband Salvatore have been great hosts, extremely helpful and available. They gave is a warm welcome (and even treated us with typical sweets from a local bakery) and were very flexible with the check-in and check-out. My wife and I only stayed at their place for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer for several reasons: first of all, because of the extremely beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is surrounded by an orchard with apple, pear and plum trees (and more), so we were able to enjoy perfectly ripe, organically grown fruits straight from the trees. Our stay was very pleasant as the chalet has all the right amenities for a comfortable stay, including an outdoor patio overlooking the orchard, a mezzanine with comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. Another advantage is that the chalet is quite high up (around 1300 meters above sea level), so the temperature was lovely in spite of the heat of the Sicilian summer. This is the ideal spot from which to explore the gorgeous Mt. Etna and the neighbouring towns.

Esther is eine super Gastgeberin. Ein schönes, praktisch eingerichtetes Zimmer mit einer kleinen Veranda wo man am Abend draussen sitzen kann. Sehr nahe am Strand, in 5 Minute am kleinen aber feinen Strand. Ein Parkplatz gehört auch dazu

Wir wurden sehr herzlich in der Unterkunft empfangen. Die ganzen Tage über hat es uns an nichts gefehlt, da sich unsere Gastgeber wirklich sehr viel Mühe gegeben haben. Das Charlet ist liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet - Klimaanlage, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank und ein bequemes Bett. Im Secret Garden gibt es viele unterschiedliche Rückzugsmöglichkeiten um einfach mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Von unseren Gastgebern erhielten wir tolle Tipps, welche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bars und Restaurants in der Nähe einen Besuch wert sind. Die Empfehlungen waren durchweg super! Für den ca 1 km entfernten Strand gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich Sonnenschirme etc. auszuleihen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind morgens absolut kein Problem. Der Strand und das Wasser sind gigantisch schön! Tierisch begleiten einen 6 kleine Spitz, sowie Herkules die Schildkröte. Wir vermissen die Rasselbande schon jetzt. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles! Carsten & Kim

Wir waren zwei Wochen in Giuseppes Oase. Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft auf wärmste weiterempfehlen. Giuseppe ist ein grossartiger und herzlicher Gastgeber, er war immer zur Stelle und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Wir bekamen gute Tipps um die Gegend auszukundschaften und wurden mit feinen Sachen verwöhnt. Vielen Dank nochmal Giuseppe. Die Lage ist einfach wundervoll, in ein paar Schritten bist du am Strand, der zum baden und spazieren einlädt. In 20 Minuten bist du zu Fuss am Strand entlang, im Dorf Donnalucata. Dort findest du Restaurants, eine leckere Gelateria, Fischmarkt und ein Supermarkt uvm. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, mit einer fantastischen Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer, wo wir herrlich chillen konnten. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen und uns sehr gut erholt, es war wundervoll und die perfekte Unterkunft auch zum selber kochen. Eine Oase, die wir nie vergessen werden. Nous avons passé 3 merveilleux jours dans le logement de la guest house avec le rooftop. Tout y était : la vue, la situation avec la mer, mais surtout le chaleureux accueil que nous avons reçu. De notre arrivée jusqu’à notre soirée de départ au restaurant, nous nous sommes senti chez nous. Mille mercis !

It was even nicer than on the pictures :-) Such a lovely house and the garden was so beautiful. Maria took such great care of us. Would definitly come back any time :-)
