Cottage holiday rentals in Catalonia

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home, Jordi was incredibly helpful and friendly making us feel welcome. The house is set in the most stunning location, surrounded by peaceful woodlands and a huge garden with a lovely large pool — perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. One of the highlights for us was spotting the striking Hoopoe flying through the garden. The house itself is spacious, airy, and thoughtfully designed, blending beautifully with the local surroundings. It’s ideal for two families, with two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs, and two more bedrooms upstairs that sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom. We also loved the large games room & outdoor table tennis, which kept everyone entertained. Jordi provided great restaurant recommendations, and we enjoyed exploring some incredible spots in Girona. But honestly, most evenings we were more than happy dining on the outdoor using the large brick-built BBQ and soaking up the peaceful atmostphere

Diana is a great host! She and her couple received us super well, they were always available to help us since they live above the house. The house is amazing and the pool great also! The house is in the middle of a beautiful Forest where we had the chance to see animals like deers and wild boars! Amazing place 💕

The truth is that the house is incredible! We had a great end! Of course, as a recommendation you have to bring mosquito repellents in the summer season! We will repeat!!

A renovated and spacious farmhouse that allowed us to be comfortable and at ease during the weekend in the large group of people we were. Marta was on the lookout for us before and during the stay.

Clara and Gerard place was amazing, few days away in beautiful surrounding's it was a perfect holiday for me! Property well secured, and my two German shepherd's dogs could run free. Cosy bedrooms and comfortable beds, I haven't slept that well in weeks ! Great local restaurant Mas el Pi.

It has been a real pleasure to stay in Cubells. The house is perfect to rest with family and friends and to enjoy a nice barbecue with an amazing view on the region. Very quiet and friendly area. Had such a wonderful short break in this gorgeous medieval cottage set in a beautiful hamlet. Cressida is an amazing host who works tirelessly to make sure your stay is perfect. Her recommendations were spot on. She even shared directions for parking spots (it was bank holiday when we arrived so, at times, things were busy.) The cottage is gorgeous with Cressida’s touches everywhere. I particularly loved the bedding and the delightful way that the front door and windows open. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds, open the shutters and take in the historical ambience. We hired a car and travelled to Girona, the seaside and to other historical villages (each one just 20 minutes away). We also took the train to Barcelona - just a half hour journey from Girona. Honestly, we loved every minute of our stay. Can’t recommend the experience enough and would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Cressida.

The house is easily accessible. The entrance is made by collecting the keys from a box with a code that Carles gives you. The house is accessed by an easy ramp. The house is rectangular in shape. As soon as you enter, you'll find the open kitchen and living room. Around you have the three double rooms and the toilet. Two of the rooms have large windows overlooking the garden terrace and have fantastic views. You can have barbecues. The house is fully equipped and has heating and air conditioning. The beds are quite comfortable. It has a wood-burning fireplace. The TV is a Smart TV and you can connect to the different channels. The wifi works pretty well. The fridge is a very large and wide combi, with three drawers in the freezer. There's a Nespresso. The surroundings are beautiful. Full nature. You can do many excursions. You'll find people hiking and mountain biking. You can also see many cows, sheep and horses. Carles lives next door with his family. Always attentive to what you need.

Beautiful place, quiet, and the view was amazing. I’ve never seen the sky and stars so picturesque at night. The hens and the donkeys were a cool added bonus. 10/10 would return. Jordi was very kind and hospitable.

The desire to keep this little corner of paradise to oneself, and at the same time, be just as kind as Neus. As a yoga teacher, I organized a workshop in this heavenly place. Upon arrival, we were captivated... yes, that's the word... by this secluded property, while being 5 minutes by car from the center of Angles, where you will find a supermarket and other shops. My yogis told me: You found us, a real gem... We stayed there for 4 days and didn't want to go anywhere else because we were so happy there. A small, beautifully decorated, two-story dollhouse. Inside, it was a little tight for 6 people to eat, but the sun allowed us to have our meals in various corners of the park, depending on the time of day. Neus, rents out extra rooms, in her beautiful house next door, if needed. Flowers, birds, calm, the space, a swimming pool. Neus is also adorable. Great bedding, super clean. How often does one get to stay in an Olive Grove? This is a stunning place. The Reno's are so beautifully done. If you want to get that feeling you are staying in Spain countryside, this is where you book. We walked the area and got the rest we needed. Sitting on the deck among olive trees was perfect.

We spent a weekend there and it was simply wonderful. Carme greeted us with a warm welcome. The place was sparkling, very well cared for, and everything worked perfectly. The pool was a great plus for relaxing, and the view was incredible, perfect for disconnecting and recharging. We went with my partner and my dog, and the three of us had an amazing time. Thank you for offering us such a special place to rest. We hope to return soon!

Aurelio is such a wonderful host. We felt like his personal guests. The place is so peaceful and perfect and we enjoyed every minute there. He is amazingly responsive and helpful. He even gave us a tour of the old church and the area near the house, provided fruit, cheese, Jamon, bread, wine and more. His recommendations were excellent. Our stay in Miravet was a real highlight of our trip to Europe.

Two friends, a dog, and I spent the weekend at Yvette’s place and we hope to come back soon. Big, comfortable, modern house in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The property has one neighbor (with a friendly dog) but we felt totally isolated and only saw others when walking to town (nice 10 minute stroll to here or 20 minutes to the river). Easy communication throughout the weekend with local recommendations and clear and helpful instructions from Yvette. Great for a countryside getaway to disconnect and relax. Highly recommend!

Trudi’s beautiful fisherman’s home is full of charm and so beautifully renovated to fit into the surroundings! It has all the modern conveniences one would want but still retains a feeling of authenticity! Location is superb and a public and safe parking lot is walking distance away! The town is adorable and lots of fantastic little shops! A great base to explore Cadaques and Cap de Creus!

We had an incredible stay! José was super helpful and friendly from the moment we made the reservation. The house is beautiful, very rustic and in the middle of nature, just as we wanted. Behind a river that leads to beautiful trails and clean waters. We will for sure be going back!

My family truly enjoyed our stay at Mas de Lluvia. The home itself is incredible and set so beautifully into the environment. We loved that it was peaceful and relaxing. My children enjoyed the home’s proximity to the river and were most content just hanging out at the house. Marissa is a welcoming, accommodating host. She had local products such as cheese, wine, and pastries waiting for us, which was so thoughtful. The Matarrana area is such a unique and part of Spain to explore and we feel grateful for our experience there!

Very nice house in a very quiet mountain village in the valley of Fosca Valley. Pleasant living room when the rain is out there.

We had a pleasant stay at Alejandra's, who beautifully (and tastefully!) renovates the old village of Bila. The new summer kitchen is a real plus and Alejandra is an excellent host. We'll be happy to go back!
