Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Caswell County

This place is a gem in a class of its own. I have never written nor do I expect again to write a review like this one. The property and experience were beyond anything I have ever experienced on AirBnB. About half an hour outside of Chapel Hill, when you first drive in, your rental includes the entirety of this private wooded property. The large pond and surrounding woods and lawns are out of a movie. The pictures, beautiful as they are, don't do it justice. The home is beautiful inside: huge, thoughtfully furnished in every room, pristinely maintained, and spotless. Absolutely comfortable. We couldn't decide whether to be outside or inside. To solve that problem, there is a large screened-in porch. The hosts Michael and Heather were on top of everything, responsive, generous, and didn't make you feel (as I often do) that you were part of a transaction. The ratings inflation on AirBnB obscures how rare this place is: it deserves 7 or 8 stars on the 1 to 5 scale.

My family loves coming to Spencer Hill each year for the Halifax Country Club Member Guest tournament. Spacious enough for our family and friends and we can walk across the street to the course. Always super clean and Mary Jo is an amazing host!! 10 Stars every time!!

Home was exactly as described. The stairs upstairs were steep. But such a homie feeling throughout the whole home. Very very clean. The house had a lot of charm, it was exactly what we were expecting. If we need a place in this area again this would definitely be our rental.

Absolutely loved our stay at this quaint and cozy home in Graham! Tucked in a charming neighborhood, the house has so much character and historic charm. 10 out of 10 would recommend this beautiful historic home. With old bones and updated features it was a beautiful stay!! my kids loved it. They loved the bunkbeds that they got to sleep in. I actually went to Graham North Carolina for a wedding for military family and this was a perfect place to stay wasn’t too far to the inner city wasn’t too far from downtown historic Graham. I do plan on returning eventually and hopefully we’ll be able to book with him again!!

my friends and I had such a pleasant time at Andrea's lake house. the cottage is clean and cozy, the beds comfy with plenty of pillows and blankets, and the back deck overlooking the lake was a wonderful place to eat dinner and chat while watching the fireflies and hearing the frogs and owls chirp and hoot. check in and check out instructions are clear and easy. I will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in need of an air bnb in the area. thank you Andrea and team :)

Well-equipped home in an excellent neighborhood with great hosts! We stayed here for 6 weeks and were very comfortable. Loved the Ellerbee Creek trail just a few blocks away. The kitchen was excellent. Pool was not open for the season yet but we enjoyed the yard and outdoor areas anyways

We had a great stay. The home is as pictured. We were so happy to have a king sized bed to crash into each night. We were moving so we were hardly there. Up early in the morning and back late at night. So the bed being comfortable was a God send!! Wish more places offered a king bed but they are hard to find. Thankful Laurie let us extend our stay by another day. We were not done moving and needed another day. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We had an amazing time! Mary Jo was super to work with from booking to checkout. I along with my daughters and a few of their friends came for a bachelorette weekend and it was just perfect. The home was super accommodating, very clean and just as it said it would be. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, the deck areas and cooked a lovely meal in well equipped kitchen. The lake view was beautiful and dock and dock house were great!!! They have and have planned for everything you need! We would definitely recommend this home and working with Mary Jo. We have nothing negative to say at all! It was nothing short of an amazing weekend! Thanks Mary Jo!!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. Chill, peaceful, and comfortable. We were in town celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, and this spot was perfect. The place was super clean, looked just like the photos, and had a cozy feel. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up, and the extra pillows made it even better. Amy is thoughtful enough to provide robes and disposable slippers, so we really felt like we were on vacation at a resort. We loved having access to the pool, especially with how hot it was. The neighborhood felt really safe. It’s only 10 minutes from downtown, so we were close to the action but far enough away to chill. What stood out most was the care Amy puts into being a host. She checked in to make sure everything was good and let us enjoy our stay, but it was clear we could reach her if we needed anything. She even asked, “Is there anything you need to make your stay perfect?” That says it all. I would absolutely stay here again.

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

EPIC STAY! This actual Airbnb is an experience. From the beginning to the end it was magical. From the animals to the family that lives on the property, it felt like home. The home is decorated beautifully and stocked to the gills. Any and everything you actually need is already here. Just bring your clothes. Fishing poles, food for the animals, dog bags, activities, and more…. And the stocking of the fridge with breakfast for the next day is just the most amazing little treat. ❤️

This was our fourth of fifth stay at this property. It is close to VIR and there is plenty of room for our trailer, if we choose to stay an extra day or leave the next morning. Heather is responsive and very helpful.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The house and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning; peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights for us was the access to all the water toys. We had so much fun with the kayaks and truly appreciated being able to use the boat lift! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene lakeside retreat. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Hyco Lake!

My sister and I rented the Rabbit Hole during Thanksgiving week. Our families had the best time and would love to return next Summer when we can enjoy Hyco Lake. Heather, the host, was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful views from every floor. The kids loved the game room and the bunkbed room. The house is beautifully decorated and quite cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Heather and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Awesome home with Great Lake views! Strongly recommend renting a boat to enjoy the lake! House is in good shape and will sleep several people. Jeremy was great to work with. He is timely with responses and very helpful with information. I will definitely stay here again!!

very comfortable place to stay close to VIR. several restaurants within walking distance. very nicely appointed inside. plenty of accommodations for several guests. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back sometime! The home looks just like the pictures and is very well stocked. There were lots of clean towels and every bed had four pillows. The walk to the dock is short but is quite steep with stairs. We didn't encounter anyone during our weekend trip, but it does appear that it may be a shared dock as the path connects to another home. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. Coffee, cream (shelf stable) and sugar were also provided. The bed was comfy, and the dedicated AC unit for the main bedroom was really nice to have. As this place is right by the lake, you should be prepared for some spiders and bugs. We didn't see anything big inside, but the kayaks had quite a few in and on them. Once we cleaned them up, we really enjoyed going out on the lake for a couple hours.
