Amazing place & beautiful location. Personally, we really enjoyed the restaurant below us, super friendly, gorgeous traditional Italian food at an excellent price! I would highly recommend the accommodation for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings! Super clean, great communication via the host, extremely comfortable and decorated to perfection. Restaurant - Antica Osteria Dei Mercanti - 5 star too!!

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

Our stay was beautiful! The view from the balcony (and bedroom window and shower window) is absolutely breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony and taking it in was some of our favorite parts of the stay. Everything was clean and decorated so nicely, plus their espresso machine and little cookies were great to wake up with. Location is a bit far walking distance from the center of the city, and it is uphill on the way back, but we personally loved it because it kept us on our feet during our travels and the peaceful neighborhood is worth the walk because it is so quiet and private at night. It’s right across the street from Galileo’s original home! Highly recommend this apartment :)

Absolutely gorgeous views overlooking the river from the bedroom suite. The location is walkable to all the main attractions of the city (Florence is relatively small!), and coming back to this BnB after long days of sightseeing was a joy. Would absolutely stay again if back in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was good, in easy walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and bars for aperitif. It is on the other side of the river from the typical tourist destinations like the David and the Uffizi, but because Florence is so easily walkable, it only took about 20 minutes to walk to any of those areas. This side of the river is definitely quieter, but still has plenty to do (including the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are not to be missed)! As far as communication, it was absolutely top notch. We had an issue where the handle on the water faucet in the kitchen broke on Sunday, and the host was extremely quick to respond, and had a plumber out to fix the problem in under an hour. We were shocked and impressed, particularly given it was a weekend. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room is very good, but the bedroom could get a bit hot at night. Still we would return!

A fabulous apartment with a super historic. I highly recommend this very modern clean and spacious apartment. I was genuinely sorry to leave and will certainly book with Dan again should I return to Florence in the future. I chose Mark’s place because it was right between the two centres that make up the Bagni di Lucca and was certainly better value than staying in town. The location is right by the river, on the upper level of the building, so you can open the windows and enjoy the view. There is a bus stop just 100 metres away that links with the railway with a fairly regular service, or you could continue all the way to Lucca itself. The apartment was very well equipped, which is great if you want to self-cater and there is a Conad Supermarket about a 10 minute walk away, which is well stocked with meat, cheeses, wine, bread, vegetables and necessaries. The town itself is probably about a 20 minute walk away, with various restaurants. A shout out has to go to Mark, who was so helpful when l left a suitcase on the train. He was so understanding and concerned and even checked at Lucca station to see if it had been returned and suggested places to replace lost items. This exceeded my expectations!

Our stay was incredible! This place is a gem. It’s peaceful, quiet and the atmosphere is so friendly. We brought our little girls with us and they were so sad to leave. The restaurant is fabulous- you have to go to pizza night! The pool was perfect. We had great communication with Sabrina. We hope to be back in the future:)

This sunny apartment was a dream come true! Lucca is an absolutely beautiful place and the apartment is convenient to everything! We felt at home on the first day and our entire week was unforgettable. Vanessa is a gem and helped make our trip a 10!

Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. Without a doubt, this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had in over 10 years! Thank you so much, Miriam – we’d love to come back!

Very unique place in a great location outside of Florence

The AirBnB was amazing! Exactly like the pictures and completely idyllic! We felt like we were staying in a palace. The perfect Tuscan escape! Out host Alessandra was the best! Super friendly and wonderfully helpful. We arrived late due to some travel issues and Alessandra was flexible and delightful to deal with. We did have some issues with driving in Italy which required us to check out early as the area is not walkable but this had nothing to do with the accommodation. The local town had a supermarket and is very picturesque. There were some issues with the Wifi connection and there was not reception in the town itself but this could be a plus if you’re looking to unplug.

Fabrizio and his apartment are an absolute delight! The place is beautifully decorated with great taste and the location CANNOT be beat. 10 stars!!!!! Loved it and will surely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Florence! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had that authentic Italian charm you dream about—wooden beams, warm terracotta floors, and a tiny Juliet balcony overlooking the rooftops. Pure magic. The location was unbeatable—just a short walk to the Duomo, the Uffizi, and the Ponte Vecchio. Yet somehow, it felt tucked away and peaceful, like a local secret. We could pop out for a morning espresso and be back before the croissants cooled down. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on where to eat like a Florentine (pro tip: skip the tourist traps near the piazzas and follow their suggestions—you won’t regret it!). Wow what a perfect place to stay! The balcony is a dream. Everything in the apartment was lovely, elegant yet comfortable, and it made our time in Florence very special. It was a perfect location for walking everywhere in the city. Staying in June, when we would come back to the apartment in the hot afternoons, it was very cool and relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay in this flat. The house was clear, the neighbourhood was peaceful and the hosts were very helpful. A true gem in the centre of Florence. If you want to live a luxury experience in Florence, I highly recommend this place.

This apartment in the heart of Florence is a true gem. It’s spacious, comfortable, and modern, yet still retains its historic charm. The location is simply dreamlike, with the widow view and the proximity to The Accademia being the highlight. Having the Accademia right in front of the window was priceless. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked and discreet. Conveniently located, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket are just a short walk away. The communication was easy and fast, and Luca was friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a perfect apartment in an ideal location. Apartment as described. Very clean and comfortable. The center is a 10-minute walk away. Always top-notch and very kind communication. When I return to Florence, if there is the possibility, I will return to this apartment.

From booking to checking out, things could not have been smoother. Everything was as described and Alessandra was a very responsive and reasonable host. The area was also fantastic- 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the restaurants and bars in the small Piazza five minutes’ walk away were excellent. Hope to return soon!

Highly recommend staying here. It’s a beautiful little apartment with very large outdoor roof space for dining, lounging etc. very clean. Walking distance to all of lucca.

Friendly & super responsive host. Loved the Italian architecture of the building, but comfortable within the renovated interiors of the unit. Stayed in Time room with seniors & a child, had all necessary amenities. Great location, far enough from the chaos yet close to the main square & train station.

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!
