Holiday rentals with a patio in Castelbuono

The beauty of the sunrises and sunsets from our windows and terrace are surpassed by the welcoming, enthusiastic and helpful attitude of our hostess! I had asked a question about access to the area and in an exchange of messages she helped me find a driver to bring us to Cefalù and then met us early. I feel I have a friend in Sicily. She’s smart, fun and truly cares about her guests!

This place is Amazing. The owners Gebuono and Doriana were fantastic. As a welcome gift they left us a cake from their bakery and some great wine, fresh lemons, cherries and strawberries. Google maps takes you a different way so getting there can be tricky, however, Giovanni the house manager met us and took us the proper way. I would recommend a car staying here. This place is a piece of heaven and I would highly recommend staying here. I really felt like family because Gebuono and Doriana were so attentive and always answered our questions right away. We met both of them while we were staying in Palermo.

Nydelig leilighet i en vakker by. Vi bodde her i litt over en uke. Verten var hyggelig, hjelpsom og imøtekommende. Vi mottok gaver med mat og drikke når vi ankom stedet. Verten snakket ikke engelsk, men datteren snakket engelsk, og vi kommuniserte utmerket med verten i Airbnb-appen og ved hjelp av Google translate. Uteområdet var pent, med bord og gode stoler, ekte planter og vinranker til tak, gulvet i hagen var av kunstig gress. Gaten utenfor var ganske trafikkert og en hovedvei gikk like nedenfor, men området føles trygt, selv om kvelden. Lyden fra trafikken høres godt fra hagen, så hvis du ønsker stillhet er ikke stedet egnet. Vi reiser gjerne tilbake til dette stedet. Anbefales 😊

Heel fijn, nieuw en schoon appartement. Van alle gemakken voorzien en goede airco. Guiseppe was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het zwembad is fantastisch en het uitzicht grandioos! Heerlijk tot rust gekomen. Voor onze baby van 1 was een fijn bedje en een kinderstoel geregeld, dat was top!

Die schöne Unterkunft liegt nur etwa fünf Minuten von Cefalu entfernt und damit kann man jederzeit problemlos in den Trubel eintauchen und im Anschluss wieder in die ruhige Oase zurückkehren. Zu Fuß ist das Meer ebenfalls nur gute fünf Minuten entfernt und liegt an einer wunderschönen Bucht. Wir haben uns wirklich äußerst wohl gefühlt Und freuen uns schon sehr, wenn wir jemals wiederkommen können.

We loved staying at Isabella’s place. We could see the sea from the large balcony and, although the inside area is small, it has all you need. We were made very welcome and shown round the area by Marco who also collected us from the station. We were given great recommendations about restaurants, the local festival and places to visit. We enjoyed the local bottle of wine left for us. Questions were always answered straight away. Portocello and the attached villages are unspoilt. This isn’t a big tourist centre. There is easy access to Palermo and Cefalu by train. Thank you for a great few days.

Excelente estadía! El departamento de Daniele estaba impecable, muy completo, prolijo y cómodo. Cuando llegamos teníamos algunas bebidas y cosas esperando para comer!! Impecable considerando que llegamos de noche! Sin dudas lo recomiendo y volvería a elegirlo! Extremadamente cómodo!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Santo Stefano di Camastra qui est un petit village loin de l’effervescence touristique de Cefalu mais qui reste vivant. Le Airbnb correspond à la description et aux photos. Il était propre, fonctionnel et joliment décoré. Le balcon donne sur une rue passante. Il y a des petits commerces, des restaurants et un parking gratuit à proximité. Je recommande ce lieu !

Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war super, es wurde immer sofort reagiert. Der Weg zur Villa ist sehr eng, die Eskorte vom Host hat uns beim ersten mal sehr geholfen! Wir würden ein Auto empfehlen, da zu der Stadt bzw. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mindestens 3-4 (steile) Kilometer zurückzulegen sind. Einmal angekommen erwartet euch hier viel Ruhe. Das Meeresrauschen kann man bis auf die Terasse hören, wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge über San Stefano di Camasta sind nur wenige Schritte über die (absolut ruhige) Straße am Steinstrand zu genießen. Die Villa liegt an einer Bahnstrecke. Hier waren tagsüber einige Züge zu hören, seltener auch Nachts mal ein Güterzug. Die Unterkunft hat absolut alles, was benötigt wird. Kochen, jeden Tag einen (oder auch 2-3) Espresso aus der Kapselmaschine, und romantische Abende bei Kerzenlicht. Der Host hat uns sogar mit Wasser und Espresso zum Start versorgt, super Service! Vielen Dank für die ruhige Unterkunft für unsere Flitterwochen!

L’esperienza nella villa di Gianluca è stata semplicemente indimenticabile. Immersa in un'oasi di quiete, la villa offre una tranquillità senza pari, ideale per chi desidera staccare dalla frenesia quotidiana. La piscina, perfettamente curata, è il vero cuore della casa: trascorrere le giornate a bordo vasca con una splendida vista sul mare è stato rigenerante. Il panorama è mozzafiato, con il mare che si estende all'orizzonte, offrendo spettacoli incredibili soprattutto al tramonto. Di notte, il cielo stellato è stato la ciliegina sulla torta. La mancanza di inquinamento luminoso ha reso possibile ammirare una volta celeste punteggiata da stelle, creando un'atmosfera magica e romantica. In sintesi, questa villa è perfetta per chi cerca un rifugio elegante e rilassante, dove il mare, la natura e la pace si incontrano in un perfetto equilibrio. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully maintained Airbnb! The space was spotless, stylishly decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making check-in and communication a breeze. One thing to note: the property is located next to an event center, which means you might hear music and festivities, especially on weekends or during special events. We unfortunately heard 4 nights of loud music. While even having the shades and windows closed, we still needed noise canceling airpods to still drown out the sound. We also had the upstairs bedroom and the downstairs bedrooms did not hear the music. It might be something to consider if you're looking for total quiet. Overall, we loved the vibrant location and the convenience of being close to local attractions. If you're looking for a clean, cozy, and well-located place with flare!

We really enjoyed our stay at this place! We got a super warm welcome with some local sweets, which was such a nice surprise. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The hosts were great – always quick to respond whenever we had a question. The location is just few minutes off the main road between Palermo and Cefalù, so it’s a perfect spot for exploring the northern part of Sicily. Despite the road being close, it was very quiet in the apartment. One thing we loved was how cool the apartment stayed – even though it was really hot outside, we didn’t need to use the AC at all thanks to the curtains keeping the heat out. The bedroom stays pretty dark throughout the day because the window doesn’t let in much light. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

This was by far one of my favorite places i have stayed! The home itself was so much better than the photos but even more was the unbelievable hospitality that we experienced from Maria Francesca and Gaetano. BRAVO to these hosts!! Even though we arrived late they met us and welcomed us in, explaining everything. They came to say goodbye also and were only message away for whatever need we had. If you are ever in Palermo this place is a MUST!! THANK YOU

Wunderbare Wohnung! Sehr sauber, perfekt für 2 und super Ausstattung zum Kochen. Der Strand und das Meer sind traumhaft, zwar keine 20, sondern eher 100 Meter weg, aber absolut idyllisch. Danke Viviana für diesen tollen Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

The stay at Marias apartment was very good and we immediatly felt at home :) Also we were picked up at the train station and Anna showed us around in Porticello, thanks for that :) You´re living in in middle of Porticello where everthing that you need is really close, supermarket 5 min. / Pizza and other restaurants 1-5 min. / Beach 5 min... Also there are activities quite close to the house, for example: Archological Museum / Ruins 25 min. / Lighthouse 45 min. / Trainstation 20 min. Like other people in reviews mentioned, the pictures of the apartment are a bit misleading, since you´re not directly at the beach but a small walk apart from it. The pictures of the interior on the other hand are accurate and everyhing that you need is there. The only "negatives" we could mention are that the house is a bit dark and also its sometimes little loud (so if you´re maye sensible in that regard better bring earplugs / sleeping Mask etc.) We can highly recommend staying at Marias apartment :)

Francesco's house/flat was well presented, freshly renovated and clean. Although we stayed a couple of nights as a final stop before bidding arrivederci to the island, you could easily stay longer as the property has everything you need. There is a spacious terrace at the front of the house and a cute garden with a free standing grill and bonus citrus trees in case you want freshly squeezed lemon on your barbecue. Location wise - the property is on the main road, with easy access to the link roads and 1.25 hrs drive from Palermo airport. Cefalu beach is 20 min walk, clean and not too busy (could be because we visited off peak season). The old town and duomo 30 min away boasting of great restaurants and typical quaint alleyways. Francesco was a considerate helpful host with great communication before and throughout our stay. P.S. for British fam - there is no kettle, so you'll have to boil the water on the stove :D

Vi hade en toppen vecka. Mysig lägenhet med underbar terrass mot havet och fin gemensam pool. Haft mycket bra kontakt med värden Nicola gav en massa tips och är lyhörd. Lägenhet ligger avskild. Det hörs inga bilar, bara en del boskap som gör platsen harmoniskt. Cefalu finns på 30 minuter promenad avstånd eller 10 minuter med bil. Vi parkerade på den stora parkeringsplats vid havet. Prisvärd och alltid plats när vi var där. Morgondopp och därefter en god kopp kaffe rekommenderas när Cefalu håller på att vakna. Rekommenderas varmt!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft, fussläufig ein wunderschöner Strand (nicht überlaufen). Perfekter Ort um Palermo und die Umgebung zu entdecken.

Francesco made us feel very welcome. Very warm and friendly host. He even showed us some of his favourite eating spots in Stefano when he picked us up from the station! He was very generous. Always responded quickly to questions and helped us out with some extras. The flat had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. A great outdoor area to relax in the afternoons. Very quiet at nice, some very restful sleeps. The town is a great place to visit. Many amazing restaurants and places to eat and drink. The locals were very friendly. A perfect town for a weeks stay with enough to do to keep entertained. Molto grazie Francesco!

Great value. Great location. We feel lucky to have found this apartment. Stella was a good host and always responded promptly to inquiries. She even arranged a taxi pick-up from the train station for some of us. The apartment is uncluttered, almost 'spartan'. But, we spent very little time inside. There are enough pans/utensils in the kitchen for preparing meals. There were no lounge chairs on the swim platform. We carried two down from the terrace. The property is spectacular and private. We are 4 mid to late 60s people and it took us 10 -12 minutes to walk to the marina, another 10 - 12 to the Cathedral square, and another 5 - 10 to get to the beach... but why spend time at the beach when you have your own private swim platform! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large terrace with sun and shade options throughout the day, incredible views, private swim platform with sun from 7 - 4... If we return to Cefalu, we will most certainly stay at Kalura Sea House again!

Amazing getaway from the town! If you want to enjoy some quiet and tranquility but still be close to the town, this is the place. Absolutely loved that we had a gym, pool and outdoor showers all in a private property. While it is a shared property with other guests, we had our own space and got to enjoy the amenities. Do keep in mind, you will need a car if you plan on leaving the property. The town is a short drive away but definitely not walkable. Nothing we went to was more than 15min away. The hosts were great and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place to enjoy Cefalù while still having the quiet time away.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Antonio hat immer reaktionsschnell geantwortet. Wir liebten die Terrasse mit Meeresrauschen. Leider ist es wirklich teilweise sehr laut von der oberen Wohnung vor allem wenn da Kinder wohnen die schreien und durch die Wohnung rennen. Leider war bei uns das W lan oft gegen Abend schlecht, Antonio sagt es sei eine Ausnahme. Es hat Fahrräder in der Unterkunft, sie sind sehr klapprig aber um frische Brötchen zu holen war es ganz okey. Wir haben auch am letzten Tag noch die Espressobar entdeckt mit dem Fahrrad 5minuten von der Unterkunft. Wir können das Restaurant Can Caus sehr empfehlen und in porticello Gasthausgrill. Insgesamt war alles sehr schön, danke Antonio
