"Casetta Mia" è un mini appartamento situato in una zona tranquilla e residenziale, vicino all'imbocco della tangenziale che in 5 minuti di auto conduce al centro dove è la stazione dei treni e la partenza dei traghetti per la costiera Amalfitana. La fermata dei bus per il centro è invece a 8 minuti a piedi dalla casetta. A 12 minuti di auto c'è l'areoporto di Salerno. Nelle vicinanze ci sono bar, pizzerie, supermarket, farmacie; il mare è a 5 minuti di auto (20 di passeggio). Il wifi è veloce.

I stayed 6 days in Antonio's apartment. No problem. Antonio is a great host who responds very quickly. The apartment is extremely clean and organized. The apartment smells of cleanliness. The room is huge and beautiful! The bed and bath linens are very fragrant. The well-equipped kitchen. Great bath! Congratulations Antonio on your apartment. I would definitely come back!

Salerno was like a refreshing rain during my trip to Italy. I received kindness far beyond that of just a host. Despite my limited English, he patiently waited for me, shared many conversations, offered delicious tea, and even helped plan my travels as if it were their own journey. Among all the places I visited in southern Italy—Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, and the beaches—what I loved the most was staying in Salerno. I leave with a heart full of warmth and gratitude after experiencing such genuine hospitality and calm. I regret that I couldn’t say goodbye properly when I left. I hope we’ll meet again someday. Oh, and the accommodation was incredibly clean and perfectly located. A space that truly reflects the host’s great taste. Thank you so much.

The place is basic but has everything you need and being so close to the beach was wonderful. If you're looking to explore the old town/tourist neighborhoods, the bus from Mercatello is easy to navigate - no transfers required! If you are over 6'2" I might recommend finding an alternative, as my boyfriend only had about an inch of clearance from the ceiling.

Fabrizio and Aldo have created a very comfortable vacation space. It is recently remodeled, so everything is in excellent condition. The apartment is not large but it is well designed and has skylights and high ceilings on one side, so it has a spacious feel. They are professional, helpful, and responsive hosts who clearly care a lot about creating a good experience for their guests. The location is perfect for walking to the train station or main ferry port (10 min, no hills) and the neighborhood is quiet and safe, with shops and restaurants downstairs. The bed is new and comfortable, and the shower is a reasonable size and works well. The kitchen has nice, unscratched cookware and everything you might need including olive oil, salt, coffee, tea, etc. The bedroom does not have a door separating it from the main living area, but it has a partial wall to delineate the space. I was very happy that I chose this Airbnb and would definitely come back again!

The house and sea view are so well very close to beach. Only 2 things to improve: bathroom near kitchen has waterflow issue and you HAVE to wash the dishes and throw the garbage according to weekly garbage plan, I have never seen such strict rules in any other airbnb or rental houses. We washed the dishes but it was not possible to obey garbage weekly plans when you are always out for sightseeing. In my opinion you have to do dishes and garbage not your customers.
