Dear Franziska, dear Sandro, we had a wonderful and very relaxing time in your great house. The furnishings were perfect, the rooms tastefully decorated with great attention to detail and the heated pool was very inviting. We also liked that there were so few other tourists besides a few surfers and hikers. However, you absolutely need a rental car to reach restaurants and supermarkets.

Great villa/cottage in a good location for local restaurants and beaches. Worked well for us - we (grandparents) had the upstairs en-suite where our daughter/ son-in-law had the two downstairs bedrooms. Nice garden space with decent sized pool - safe for toddler to walk around. Very modern amenities in the villa.

John was a great host. Extremely friendly, communicative and helpful. Apartment was also lovely

We stayed at the villa with a toddler in September and absolutely loved everything about it- the space, the views, the pool and how peaceful it was. A car is a must as there isn’t much in the village, but once you hire a car it’s a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches in Algarve. Local restaurant Solar Do Farelo serves delicious traditional Portuguese food. Good communication with the host. Highly recommend!

We were with our dog and 1.5-year-old child at Nani's - we and the two of them felt comfortable right away. Parking is right outside the door. Nani was always available and very helpful. He immediately took care of our concerns! It was a very relaxed and uncomplicated stay. Aldi is directly opposite and a playground, a few restaurants as well as a pharmacy and ATM are just around the corner. We would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with the accommodation and amenities. The studio was well-equipped with all the essential kitchen appliances, as well as a grill and an iron, which made our stay feel just like home. One of the highlights was the sunny terrace, where we spent our evenings watching shooting stars—it was truly magical. There was also a hammock available, perfect for relaxing during the day. The bed linens and towels were spotless and smelled absolutely amazing, which added a lovely touch of comfort and cleanliness. The surrounding area was charming and peaceful, with a pleasant walking path leading directly to the beach—an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The host was very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help whenever we had questions. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Lovely place and Victor was such a kind host. Perfectly situated with parking right beside the apartment but also in the centre of town. Super clean and big apartment. Loved our stay here.

It was a pleasure to stay at Bento's place. The view is stunning, wide open with the sea far away on one side and the pool nearby on the other side. The balcony is a perfect place for a drink in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The apartment is quite comfortable, it is extremely well decorated and well equipped. Looking forward to my next stay in this beautiful apartment.

We had such a great stay in Portimão! The place was perfect for a group of girls: spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved how walkable it was to both the beach and the town center. It made it super easy to explore, grab dinner, or just relax by the water without needing a car. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!

Host and owner were wonderful ! I did change my stay BUT ** only because I was looking for something more upbeat and party vibe such as Albufeira. The apartment itself is good and has a lot of space, and everything you need as well as a full living room with a big TV. I am in my early 30s and this is my first time in the Algarve so I had mistakenly booked something I thought was more central. This is of no fault to the host or the owner - great communication and kindness on their end :) They are very understanding and flexible. The apartment is still probably 15-20 minutes walking from the city centre and 5 from the marina. Definitely a quieter stay if you want an escape from the touristy towns! Thank you again xx

Beautiful apartment with everything on and off: kitchen with all the necessities and more, small terrace at the front with morning sun. Larger rear terrace with sun the rest of the day but half covered so that the sun does not shine in. View of swimming pool and hills. Electric shutters and air conditioning everywhere. Modern and quiet decor. Good beds. Really nothing to complain about. Well done Carla 👌

The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures. A nice bottle of wine and a couple of Portuguese pastries were a wonderful touch. The walk into Lagos is short and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. one right downstairs from the unit. Highly recommend this to anyone heading to Lagos.

We had a great week (mid-August), couple with 3 children. The apartment is beautiful, very well-equipped, kitchen, living room, with 3 bathrooms, 2 balconies. 👍 Very good hospitality from Isabelle. Peter and Annette are very friendly and available. Lagos is very beautiful and with beautiful beaches with relief, especially Praia Dona Ana. The old town is really nice with lots of restaurants and bars. Thanks Peter and Annette

We stayed for eight weeks over winter. The photos had accurately depicted the bungalow but hadn't expressed it's homely feel once inside. This was a home not a ' holiday let'. The owner had even put up a Christmas tree because we arrived on Dec 22nd. It was comfortable and well insulated for winter evenings. For warmer nights though the garden will be beautiful. There is plenty of outside seating and lovely garden lightening. The kitchen was well equipped and it would be possible to cook any style of cooking. There was always hot water from roof panels and the shower was modern and efficient. Perhaps, as with any home appliances, one or two may need replacing later this year but everything required was there. This property is in the countryside. The neighbouring properties have guard dogs which unfortunately do bark at the wild animals. We live in the countryside but this noise took us a while to get used to. A car is essential but the property is surrounded by beautiful country walks.

The price is very good. It is very close to where we want to go. But there are no shops and restaurants around. The environment is very good. There are a lot of people.

Great stay at Wolf's property 🤗 If you are looking for calm and beautiful landscapes, this is the place, between mountain, river, deer and nature! A big thank you to Wolf who was very welcoming, always available and smiling (despite our little adventures🙃). He gave us all the directions about the house and the surroundings to make sure we had a pleasant week. Very understanding, he accepted that we came with our 2 female dogs, to enjoy this haven of peace and freedom. (and they loved the place!). The wooden house was perfectly as described and is really very well-equipped. Everything was perfect, great week, a big thank you for offering this type of vacation 😊 PS: Follow Wolf's directions for check-in to avoid a more complicated route given by Waze 😉

We felt at home, the place is beautiful, we found super original the way it was decorated inside very authentic & peaceful, our two dogs, and one cat could freely move around, which was amazing. we also had a barbecue at our terrace and Silvia was always available and helpful. I don't agree with the previous review that the place is dirty and the path is very difficult, to be able to be far from the noise in the nature of course you have to go through a dirty road but it's super doable, easy and fast. Also is not true that the place was dirty it was super clean and cozy. It's perfect if you want to be away from the noise in the nature, but also close to everything. Thank you very much we will come back!
