Holiday rentals in Ponte Caldelas

We had a perfect week as a family. The house is amazing, better than the photos, very clean and with all the details you might need. With a very well-kept garden full of flowers, a small swimming pool and even an orchard from which we have been picking some delicious strawberries and zucchini. The setting is beautiful. A typical small Galician town with a lot of charm in the heart of nature. Also very well located, close to a lot of places worth visiting. But, without a doubt, what makes it unique is its host, Lidia. The friendliest and most attentive person we have met in all the places we have stayed, always making sure that everything was to our liking and with the best of smiles. The kids were delighted with her. She gave us many very good recommendations, accompanied us and showed us 2 river beaches and also had a farewell gift for my children. She and her little house deserve a 10. Hopefully we can go back soon

The holidays have been unbeatable. Both Carlos and his sister are very helpful people and always available. The house is beautiful, very large, with a garden area with a table outside and barbecue. The area is super quiet and very nice. The nearest village by car is just 10min away. Both were lovely with both us and our dog son. We will definitely come back!!

From the moment we arrived at the rural accommodation, we knew we were in a special place. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we didn't miss anything during our stay. His hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house was spotless and didn't lack a single detail. From a fully-equipped kitchen to a decor that reflected the charm of the rural setting, everything was designed to make the experience as comfortable and cozy as possible. The setting was spectacular, ideal for disconnecting and enjoying nature. We had the opportunity to go hiking, explore the surroundings and relax in the quiet garden, perfect for enjoying the views. It was definitely an experience we want to repeat.

We had a great time at this house. It's clean, modern, and well equipped. What we needed was provided in 5 minutes because Juan Manuel lives nearby. What's more, on the last day we had the car without a battery, for a mistake, and in 5 minutes we had Juan with a battery and his corresponding cables to solve the problem and be able to start the journey back. The house is not in the center of town, but you can walk along a comarcal road with little traffic, with a little care because cars pass by. Logically, there are no annoying noises because in July there are parties, and it has spectacular views of the whole mountain. In the village there is everything, various supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Close to many localities and beaches we have visited, Pontevedra, Vigo, Cangas, Redondela, Orense a little further. There is to choose from. There are also a lot of hiking trails to do and it even has its fluvial beach. Wonderful.

Fantastic weekend with friends to disconnect! We went with our children (8 in total) and there was enough space for all the couples and their children. Comfortable and fully equipped rooms, Ruth offered us versatile options to be able to combine it in the best way for us. A beautiful garden, carefully maintained, which due to the weather we could not enjoy as we would have liked. The kitchen and living room with a fireplace are very comfortable and perfectly equipped for a large group. The children really enjoyed the jacuzzi and children's books! In the attached house that we also used, the bathroom broke down, but they immediately came to fix it as soon as possible. We couldn't enjoy the surroundings much because of the incessant rain, but we'd like to come back soon! Thank you for your hospitality and smile!

Fantastic experience in Rías Baixas! Martina's place is great, we were two families and the kids enjoyed the countryside, neighbors animals and game room. A quiet and safe area ideal to disconnect. Great location, very close to Pontevedra. The house is spotless and with everything you need, very comfortable beds. Martina and her husband are very pleasant and hospitable, they welcomed us with local recommendations and even gave us vegetables from their garden (very rich!). During our stay they were pending and were very accessible. We definitely recommend visiting the house. Thank you very much for everything!!!

A marvel and a real pleasure to stay in this house and a lovely and very attentive family. They welcomed us with a cake made with lemons from the garden, a charming garden!! And the area is unbeatable. Thank you so much for the opportunity!! We'll be back!!💝

Maria was a wonderful host and this place is beautiful. From the tour of her garden to the fully stocked kitchen and helpful recommendations, she was thoughtful and gracious. And I can’t imagine a better base for exploring Galicia and of course Santiago de Compostela, which is only about ten minutes away by car. Everything about our stay here was perfect.
