House holiday rentals in Carbon County

The house was perfect for our three day visit. It was cute, clean and cozy. Our only disappointment was the lack of kitchen supplies (the kitchen was severely lacking in supplies). There were no kitchen utensils for cooking at all, as well as no mixing bowls, cooking trays, knives etc. We were unable to prepare any meals that required cooking. Luckily it was a girls weekend so we settled for salads but we had a refrigerator full of food we couldn’t use which was inconvenient. There was also a very strong chemical smell in the house. We ended up opening the door and windows to air it out which helped but it was over powering for the first part of our stay. All this being said I would rent this home again I would just plan our meals differently.

Highly recommend place was nice host help out with stores around the area definitely we’ll be a get away place on our list ..

The house was as pictured. Pretty private , not on top of neighbors. It is in a gated community so that adds its own obstacles but it is to be expected. Central air was nice , pool was refreshing. Everything was clean and orderly.

We loved the house with the big beautiful windows, the deers in the morning in our backyard, the hot tub, and the rest of the accommodations! It was my sister's graduation weekend and she was thrilled - we watched movies, went on a nice hike, ordered some take out, and cooked. Highly recommend. Thank you for your weekend suggestions as well and for being very communicative and flexible with us. Would certainly stay here again!

I was very pleased with everything from the house to the host!!! I would absolutely stay again. The neighborhood was very quiet. Its a 30 minute drive from many attractions. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures and the host was very responsive!! They were also flexible with check-in and check-out so we could get more time out of our stay. Very very pleased!!!

Damian and Monika’s place was awesome. Very peaceful and private community/surroundings. Everything from the check in to the instructions to our communication was easy. Had a minor issue and Damian came over within 30 minutes and got it fixed, very responsive and accommodating. The hot tub and pool table were awesome in-house activity options. 100% would recommend.

What a gem! From the moment you walk in the door, all the stress melts away! Meticulously spotless. Open floor plan. Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen. Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided. I really can't say enough. Mike was super responsive and checked in with us. My husband and I felt right at home. We will be back!

A great place to stay for a family vacations in the mountains We have walks and bicycle rides with our granddaughters in a very clean and safe environment. The house is very comfortable and plenty of space to accommodate our family of six, including two kids. Everything was as mentioned in the site and according to our expectations. Also the house has a very good set of games and good TV system for streaming. As we are planning to come back to Philadelphia in the future, hopefully we will return to this wonderful place. Wonderful home full of little interesting and tasteful decorations. We will be coming back with family for our next visit to Jim Thorpe.

Staying at The Zen Den was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! You could literally just bring your clothes, and you’re set for your vacation! They have EVERYTHING you may need during your stay. From games, to kitchen utensils, extra towels and bedding. There’s a washer and dryer with complementary wash pods. Netflix is available! A tea and coffee station, and my favorite, The Hot Tub ! Not to mention you can connect your phone to the hot tub ! I also used the Bluetooth speaker the entire length of my trip. There is ample space for larger groups and plenty of beds/seating space. I appreciated Sharif answering my messages very swiftly and accommodating my vacation needs! He offered me to check in earlier than 4pm(due to no one being in the house before my stay), I thought that was very nice! My friends and I enjoyed the air bnb SO MUCH, we stayed there the entire length of our stay! We did not leave to do any amenities. It was very relaxing and felt like home. WE ALL stated we will be returning! 10/10

We had such a nice time in this beautiful home! The pickleball was a hit with our whole family and nice on rainy days, super fun game room, the house was clean and so well designed with everything you might need for your stay. And the deer were such a treat to see each day!

Great stay at Katie's place. The weather wasn't perfect, but we were still able to get some great kayaking time on the sizable lake, grill and make a bonfire. Just a 10 minute drive away we found an amazing hike and view at Tank Hollow as well as the historical town of Jim Thorpe which we were quite impressed by. It was a great property to call home for a small reunion of friends looking for a convenient escape from the city.

This Airbnb was one of the most beautiful we have strayed in and the hosts were excellent! The open layout of the downstairs was fantastic for our family trip. The couches were cozy, the armchairs were comfortable and the gas fire place was lovely for ambiance. Gorgeous large windows let in plenty of light. The giant table was perfect for family dinners & kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. There were board games & a guitar. Nice touches, like coat hooks. Everything was just nice as pictured. The blackout shades in all bedrooms were much appreciated and the beds were comfortable. Showers clean, water was hot w/excellent pressure. Airbnb is about 17 minutes drive to Jim Thorpe. We took the Lehigh gorge scenic railway 70 min round trip w/grandparents, aunts, uncles and a toddler and it was enjoyed by all. The Airbnb is a great base for exploring Jim Thorpe and the nearby hikes/nature (waterfalls, boulder field.) My 3 yr old loved seeing deer on the property!

5 Stars — A Truly Wonderful Stay! From the moment we booked, Sara was professional, kind, and incredibly accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, and her thoughtful communication really made us feel welcome. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a peaceful, calming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway in the Poconos. One of the most magical parts of our stay was seeing the deer that casually roam near the house. It added such a serene, nature-filled touch to the experience. Wristbands so we could enjoy the community amenities, which was very thoughtful. Although we didn’t get a chance to use them during our stay, it was great knowing they were available. We can’t give feedback on the amenities, but everything else was absolutely amazing. Everything from the cleanliness, the quiet surroundings, and the host's above-and-beyond hospitality made this a 10/10 stay. I would absolutely book again without hesitation.

This was our first Airbnb, it was literally everything we could have imagined and more! Naomi responded really quickly and was accommodating to all of our needs. She was able to answer all of our questions. When we got there everything was clean and just as listed!

My stay in Andrei place was amazing. We had a wonderful time in the hot tub and enjoy a great BBQ. The place is nice and quite perfect for some relaxing time and just to enjoy nature. The shed was amazing for a nice fun night with friends, equipped with great table games. Andrei responded very quick and addressed any concerns or questions. Overall, this is a great place for my weekend and I would definitely be coming back !

Adriana was a very responsive host. When we had an issue, she attempted to correct it right away and offered a partial refund when it could not be fixed on a Sunday. Nice neighborhood.

Had a wonderful time at this mountain house, great restaurants nearby, hot tub and sauna were a wonderful amenity, bed was very comfortable and cozy living room. Also a plus that our dog could join and hang out on the huge wrap around deck. we also got engaged here 😊 so will always be a special place!

Wonderful and peaceful location. Great place for a get away. My boyfriend and I loved the cozy aesthetic as well as the board games she provided for our stay. Justina was super responsive and even provided a list of activities in the area. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely be coming back :)

This place was really wonderful for a girls’ weekend away. It’s spacious and comfortable. The hot tub room is awesome for hanging out on the couches while some people take a dip. It’s also just a nice sun room to read in. The outdoor space was lovely. The only issue we had was the wifi not working. Not sure why, the signal seemed full and strong but none of us were able to connect for the entire stay. The host was very communicative and tried to get it resolved, but unfortunately it was not fixed by the time we left so we had to use our hotspots for some things (mostly a VR game we wanted to play). This is just a note about the wifi, and if it gets fixed, this place is perfect!
