Waterfront holiday rentals in Capital Region of Denmark

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the peace and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. Alexandra's studio is the perfect base for one or two travellers exploring Copenhagen. It has everything you could possibly need, including a beautiful little balcony that overlooks the water. It is peaceful and quiet, and the lift is useful for getting luggage up to the fifth floor. The kitchen and bathroom are new. The bathroom is a classic Copenhagen bathroom with the shower over the toilet - it works perfectly and dries quickly. Alexandra went above and beyond to let me check in before lunchtime as my flight arrived earlier in the day. I was so glad to have this lovely home to come back to after exploring Copenhagen on foot, bike, and by metro and bus just a stone's throw from the apartment. Thank you!

This stay was my first Air BNB stay. It was me and my son who is 19. Our annual father-son adventure. I travel a lot and usually stay in hotels. My son convinced me to try Air BNB. From the beginning Christina was a great communicator. She was responsive to all my questions. I felt very prepared when I got to Copenhagen. The check in process was very easy. She clearly had the whole thing very well thought out. The apartment and surrounding area was great. The apartment over looks a pretty lake. So relaxing to sit by the lake. Lots to do in easy walking distance. GREAT biking in the city. She checked in on us by text during the week. The check out process was smooth. I feel good about recommending this apartment to others staying in Copenhagen. My experience encouraged me to try Air BNB again on my next vacation.

Claus’ condo was incredible! Right on the famous Nyhavn canal with unreal views, the location cannot be beat. Walkable to everywhere downtown and a short walk to the metro if you want to venture out further. Perfect for couples. Claus met us when we checked in and provided a quick tour of the condo. He had many wonderful recommendations for restaurants and site seeing (Fish market and Hart bakery were our favorite restaurants). The amenities were as described, fridge worked great and espresso machine was flawless. The king bed was comfortable and the windows around the apartment allowed us to control the temperature well (there is also a heater). Being right in the action in Nyhavn, there is some steer noise but it quiets down by 10-11pm at night. I would highly recommend and would love to stay again when we come back to Copenhagen.

A perfect place to stay that’s close to everything but still very peaceful and quiet. The hosts were wonderful and responsive.

Initially was torn between this place and another when booking this trip but so happy we chose Idas place. Absolutely stunning home that is incredibly close to city center and walkable to tons of fun places. Check in was seamless and Ida and Thomas were able to help get us in early which helped A TON after traveling all morning. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone traveling to Copenhagen that wants a very cool spot to stay.

This is a great place in a superb location. You can’t get anything better directly in Nyhavn. The view from the balcony facing Nyhavn (there are 2) is simply astonishing. From here you can walk anywhere you want (or cycle if you prefer). It’s also easily accessible from the Airport; the M2 Line.get’s you in walking distance (6min) from the apartment. We simply loved the place and area and hope to be able to come back at some point.

We have been very good in accommodation, it has everything you need to spend a few days near Copenhagen, very good communication with the center and with supermarkets and places to dine very close by. The views are breathtaking and the little things to improve were communicated and talked to the owner, thank you for everything Morten!

We had two nights in the cottage and enjoyed it to the fullest! The house itself is really nice and it is located on top of a small hill, so the view of the water and nature is extra nice. We enjoyed the short walk down to the water, we went to Lynæs and experienced the beautiful landscape on the way and fished on the pier and ate ice cream in Lynæs Harbor. It was really cozy and a really nice harbor. We were also in Hundested and at the "Sandfestival" and eating ice cream at the "Issalonen" - both can certainly be recommended. Thank you very much for lending us your lovely cottage. We'd love to come back another time.

We had the best vacation at Karin's and from start to finish it has just been a pleasure to rent Karin's home. She is so sweet and welcoming as a host and the cottage is so cozy and idyllic. Can only recommend this cozy home and beautiful host! :-)

Oliver and Kristine's place is very cozy and we immediately felt at home. Communication before and during our stay as been proactive and we felt very welcome. Oliver and Kristine are very easy to talk to and we also received a very sweet welcoming gift - homemade rhubarb jam - very delicious :) We have sincerely enjoyed our stay at their place and would recommend it anyone we know.

Badehotel vibe and especially great location!💙 We had some great days at Anders and Bolette's house! The house is just cozy, homey, and there's nothing missing. Our kids enjoyed the fact that it was close to the water, the alcove, and the large terrace. There was clear and good communication. We would definitely come back. The house and hosts have our warmest recommendations! ❤️

We loved staying at Eva’s place. It was very central to all we wanted to do and we walked to all the spots. We took the metro as well, just a short walk to station. My brother from Denmark was also extremely impressed at the location and the nice apartment. Our 6yo loved having the play space in the courtyard. We had large family dinners and we felt right at home. We would stay here again!

Loved this “Hygge” place! Across the street from a beautiful walking path and beach and close to the fun town of Allinge. Would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Toke's place. The surrounding environment is quiet and pleasant. Toke greeted us during the check-in process and provided detailed instructions of the unit, the amenities, and two local transit stations. Easy access to local transit stations. When we booked the unit, Toke made sure we were aware of the hosts' request to clean the unit, and all the towels & sheets before the check out time (which we agreed). Toke was on time to complete the check out process in person. We enjoyed having all the plants in the unit and on the balconies. We recommend booking this unit for your Copenhagen visit.

We loved staying there. Copenhagen is bigger than we imagined, but this flat is in the coolest part (that we saw…). Highly recommend.

The location of Ulrik and Luna's apartment was perfectly located, near the metro, the water and nice restaurants. The apartment was super neat and everything was available, we felt completely at home and was very cozy decorated. The communication went very smoothly and the apartment was very easy to find. We would book again in a minute!

Claus's place was clean, quiet, and well-equipped -- perfect for our small family (my wife and I stayed with our 1-year-old son). It's literally steps from the lake and close to some nice restaurants and cafes, though a bit of a walk (about 15 min) to the nearest metro station. Claus was always friendly and responsive, and his clear instructions made check-in easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in a quieter area just outside the hustle and bustle of the city center.
