This is a gem of a place. The house is beautifully decorated, lots of great details and a very own vibe. We were a lot out on excursions, to Louisiana, Copenhagen etc, and were always looking forward to coming home to the house again. The kitchen is very well equipped, with the most beautiful pottery in every cabinet (which Joy himself has made!) The garden is amazing, colorful and lush. Every morning we strolled to the beautiful bathing jetty right by the house for a morning bath - and looked up to the baker for fresh bread and coffee. We will be back again for sure!

We had a really lovely stay at the house, which fully lived up to expectations. The house is newly renovated, very clean and tastefully decorated – among other things, with art on the walls, which gave a personal and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want, making it easy to cook for yourself. There was also a cozy living room upstairs with a TV. The beds were really good and already made upon arrival, which was a nice touch. In addition, it was super convenient with a parking space right by the house. The hosts, Lise and Claus were very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions we had along the way. A great host couple – we felt very welcome. All in all a very positive experience – we would love to come again!

Leif's place was beautiful and exactly as described. The house was amazing , clean and had everything we needed to cook . The area is very quiet neighborhood . Leif had left snacks and drinks for us when we arrived. I would highly recommend this place. Archana

Cool and large house with many bedrooms and large beds. Perfect for the big party. Two great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Access to gas grill on the wonderful terrace surrounded by beautiful deciduous forest. Takes about 25 minutes by train to central Copenhagen, walk about 14 minutes to the local train. A very affordable accommodation in scenic surroundings.

We had a great stay at Marie's house. The location was perfect mtp. distance to nature and beach, as well as public transport to Copenhagen. The house was great, clean and tidy, with stylish decor and large space, and had everything we needed. Marie is a brilliant host who is friendly, easy to communicate with, available and helpful. In addition, she gave us very good tips about things to do in the immediate area. We highly recommend Marie and her places and would no doubt visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Bo’s beautifully designed house and it had ample space for all of us. Bo kept in touch with us regularly which was very helpful. Gentofte is a lovely neighbourhood and the house is right by the lake and close to shops, cafes etc!

This place is a little hidden gem in the suburbs of Copenhagen. The house is modern, spacious and very clean. It was also completely free of clutter, which made our stay stress free. It was easy to check in/ out and easy to communicate with Anemone with any questions. Our kids loved the toys that were left out and the backyard was like a magical wonderland for the kids with a big trampoline, swings, playhouse and other toys. The train station is a 10 min walk away (30 mins to CPH central station) and other grocery shopping including a very nice traditional Danish bakery. Søndersø lake is just a 5 min walk from the house. We highly recommend this place. We hope to stay again.

This house is amazing - this is an incredibly special AirBnB stay. You have a 200 degree water view from the master bedroom, with - during the summer - the sun setting on one horizon and rising on the other, and you can watch both from bed! Just incredible! The kitchen and bathrooms are generous (much bigger than typical Danish summerhouses). Gillileje is a 10-15 minute walk from the house with shopping and great restaurants and the harbor and grocery stores and everything you need. The host - Betina - was outstanding: very communicative and responsive and provided ideas of things to do locally. Everything was perfect!

This is the nicest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! It is an absolutely incredible house with a stunning garden. The technology built into the house really makes this one very special and the view is so beautiful. Even though we were in a street close to other houses we felt completely secluded which was very peaceful. We would love to stay again!

Great home for a large group. Quiet suburban area. One block from bus station. 1/2 hr to downtown. Mads communicated promptly when we had questions. We were very pleased.

A peaceful home less than one hour of Copenhagen and near of the sea. It was a lovely place for our family. We’ve some nice trip around. Particularly the Louisiana park and the Karen Blixen’s museum.

The Blue House was a great for 7 adults and a 6 year old. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. We enjoyed sunny mornings on the deck looking at the sea, beach combing, and relaxing in the sauna. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Photos of the living areas did not do them justice. Kitchen had all the necessities for cooking family meals and baking. We appreciated the communication and a late checkout was really helpful. We would return.

We rented the house for us and our family during our wedding in Copenhagen. The house was one of the best experiences and made our holiday very memorable. Enough space for a big family, a lot of beautiful spots to chill out and perfect location for someone who wants peace and enjoy themselves. Thank you very much Casper and Anna!

This was perfect- a beautiful, spacious, peaceful, homely cabin, in a fantastic location 5 minutes from Tisvilde central, 10 minutes from the glorious beaches. Anders is a great host, very responsive and helpful, great recommendations. A wonderful trip we hope to repeat!

We arrived by car. Two families with children from 3 years to 15 years. We had so much space in this beautiful, cozy house. The big kids had their own area in the house. We parents enjoyed the kitchen-living room, the living room with fireplace and this stunning garden. So energetic, magical and soothing in the middle of this great nature. We immediately felt comfortable, like at home. Copenhagen is easy to reach by train. It was just amazing. Very urgent recommendation to stay overnight. We will be happy to come back. Johnny, thank you so much for letting us come and you provided us with your paradise. We had a great time.

Jens was very friendly during our interactions, while I didn't get to chance to see him in person, he did arrange for a neighbour to show us around his home. Tiger the cat is a perfect holiday companion as well. Overall a great experience for my friends and I and will look into booking again if we visit the city in the future.

good opportunity for families who want to spend their holidays in Denmark, without going abroad. with pool, sauna and hot tub. As well as the beach is nearby. Hope others enjoy the cottage.

The house is truly unique on Airbnb, and we were fortunate to secure one of the rare time slots available. The house and farm are even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Bjørn and his family were very kind and supportive hosts, making us feel welcomed and appreciated. We had a fantastic time exploring Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Helsingør, biking through the stunning landscape, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying the evening sun on the terrace. Even the little rain we experienced didn’t dampen our spirits, as we enjoyed the cozy and charming interior of the house. To be clear: we would love to come back!

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The pictures don’t really show how wonderful it really is. Awesome location. Within close driving distance to a lot of places and beautiful village.

A dream place for big and small! We spent one week in Tobias and family's home and the kids of 7 and 4 loved the pool, the large garden with trampoline, playhouse, swings and soccer goals. Inside there are lots of toys that keep the kids rainy mornings. A great house, with Rema 1000 shop and hiking forest just around the corner. Nice lakes nearby. We arrived by bikes from Oslo, and cycled, among other things, from the house to Furesø bathroom, about 10 min away by car. Absolutely great set up for a family day with sun, swimming and activity. Tobias is a top host - generous, pleasant and provides a quick response. We had everything we needed - and more. Really recommend!

We had another wonderful holiday in a very cozy and stylishly furnished house with pool. The area invites you to great excursions (forest with wildlife as well as one of the world's oldest amusement parks are within walking distance). The furnishings leave nothing to be desired and the contact with Helene and Christian was very friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back!

We’ve just returned from a wonderful few days in Daniel and Cecilie’s home. We had a family wedding to attend in nearby Roskilde and the house was just what we needed for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The house is beautifully furnished, lots of art and design and there is a huge amount of space inside and out. It’s very much a home from home, well equipped and peaceful. We found it a good base to visit Roskilde and Copenhagen with great transport links (buses run very frequently with stops a couple of mins walk away) Daniel was very responsive throughout and was flexible with our check out time.
