Perfect location, close to town but still far away so that you could relax. Farm is beautiful, with an amazing spot to have sundowners while surrounded by the majestic Franschoek mountains. Manager was responsive, super helpful and flexible.

Anrie's home is extremely beautiful, very neat and peaceful. The furniture and finishings are very modern. The place is really beautiful with amazing mountain views. Anrie is a great host, and very responsive. We felt welcome and at home and we enjoyed our stay. The place is close to wine farms, if you wish to explore Stellenbosch wine farms. I totally recommend Anrie's place, it is a great, cozy and a value for money.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to enjoy meals. The pool was a dream—perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring the vineyards. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it a truly relaxing stay!

A beautifully renovated farm house that is ideal for 3 couples. The house has many entertainment areas (courtyard was our favourite) and has some unique decorative art pieces. There are lovely small touches like the water filter and bath soap that made the stay more memorable. The Writer's Nook is a peaceful sanctuary in a beautiful, safe neighborhood in Somerset West. The space is light and spacious and is beautifully and stylishly furnished. Gorgeous outside area for dining, and a little plunge pool for hot days. The town is walkable and full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house for a wonderful Franshhoek holiday.

What a pleasure to stay here again! We said we would return and when Somerset West popped up as our destination of choice there was no question about where rather when. The unit felt right at home, access to a beautiful garden with garden furniture, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Everything one could possibly need! Looking forward to visiting again.

We got extremely lucky when the host offered to upgrade us to the Manor House. Wow. So Spacious and Stylish. An anazing kitchen with absolutely everything you think you need. 3 bedrooms each with their own contemporary bathrooms. The view is breathtaking with early morning coffee. Pizza oven, indoor fireplaces, private hot tub, communal swimming pool, outside braai facilities. There are of course fantastic eateries all over Stellenbosch but this spot is so magnificent that we only went out for breakfast to ensure that we spent as many hours as possible at the house. We only stayed for two nights, and I cannot wait to return. The host was always a call away. What a complete gem.

Perfect spot to stay in central Stellenbosch. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. And very quiet considering its location. Basement parking is a bonus.
