Beachfront holiday rentals in Cantoniera

Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

Francesco is a great host and the location was perfect, peaceful and private. Clean, spacious with an amazing garden. Felt like home❤️

This is already the second time we have stayed at Federica's and we have always enjoyed it. She is precise, kind and helpful, the location of the apartment is great, a stone's throw from the sea but still quiet; it is also located near the salt pans reserve

Antonella was always very kind and helpful, a perfect hostess. The place is ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature. Our two dogs, not exactly small and manageable, were welcomed with care and love, with a space all to themselves. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great place with a fantastic host! We stayed four night with our 3y old son and had a great timein the area. Please listen to Elena’s instruction and get an appropriate car because of the house location but do t worry it is OK to get here.

Alessandra’s place is impeccable! The apartment is completely new, fresh and clean. The space is super well organized with everything you need. Alessandra is also very easy to communicate with. A perfect stay, we will definitely come back!

Well equipped apartment with sensational sea views, shaded, secure parking, direct beach access. Two restaurants within walking distance, shops in Albinia (2 km), plenty of excursions possible (agentario, Giglio, Saturnia, Pitigliano, ..) , several great beaches close by, cycling and hiking tours (Maremma, Argentario) possible, good communication with landlord.

Alessio's house is a wonderful hideaway close to the sea. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings, well worth the very rocky road to get there. We didn't meet Alessio but he was always connected and super responsive

Had a great stay here! We were able to check in early and was greeted by the owner with espresso and peach cake! Echo provided helpful translation when needed. We also received an invitation to the family's alpaca farm that night. The room itself was very clean and cutely appointed. We were only there for one night, but it had all the basics we needed with the exception of dish soap. The pool was a fabulous respite from the extreme heat - it's not a lap pool but plenty of room to swim around and relax. It is located an easy walk across the street to the lake. About a five minute walk to the grocery store. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the top of town. about a 20 minute walk from the train station. We ate at Ostteria le Scalette & had a great meal. We took a passagiatta through town after dinner & came across a marching jazz band that processed through town. All around a great trip to Castiglione Del Lago! Would highly recommend Residence Rainieri & the town and hope to be able to visit again!

What an amazing location with a sensational view. We were looking for a restful location in picturesque surroundings where we could relax and unwind; this was definitely that place. After a day at the beach (7 min walk - downhill way there and quite a steap climb back if you decided not to drive) this had all the (immaculately landscaped) outdoor living spaces you need to relax into the evening and look out to sea as the day ends....views you could even enjoy from the brilliant outdoor shower! The accomodation was perfect for our group (3 adult couples) and on the warmer days it was nice to have the air conditioning. Both the owner and the host were helpful and responsive throughout. The only noteworthy things are that the drive into the location was along some tight and twisty cliff roads (I would not like to drive it in the dark) and the local beach is rocky so I would highly recommend swimming shoes. Overall we felt this was a magical place and had an amazing stay!

Our family had a great time at this villa. It has everything you need and much more for a great beachfront vacation in Italy. The private access to the beach is definitely the best highlight of all!

Beautiful experience at the camping village. Excellent organization. Very kind and helpful staff. Very welcoming and clean structure. Highly recommended for families with children who want to enjoy a peaceful and safe holiday. We had a great time, we will definitely be back

really nice apartment with access directly to the beach, not easy to get around during the evening if you want to visit some ports but it is worth it for the beautiful sea

We stayed here for the second time as a family and were thrilled again. The property and the apartment is amazing. Katharina has previously taken care of all requests and concerns wonderfully, so that we had a very nice and relaxing holiday. We will be happy to come a third and a fourth time.

The house is located in a quiet and peaceful area The private road to the sea is an impeccable shortcut! Paola and her family are very discreet, polite and friendly people, they immediately make you feel comfortable and at home. The accommodation has a breathtaking view and unique privacy, everything is well maintained,clean and modern and is located a few minutes from Porto Santo Stefano and comfortable if you want to move to the Argentario and Orbetello. 5 stars Stra deserved !

We were immediately impressed by the cottage (and the location). It is for us the dream accommodation in Italy (and maybe in many parts of the world) for a couple. We have been to Airbnb listings many times, but none is as wonderful as the house on the cliffs. The house is a small, personal with plenty of space for the belongings. We found it to be personal as it lives with the stories of the owners and that makes it very much alive. Every comfort is available (dishwasher, washing machine, heating or air conditioning if necessary). The terrace and sun deck are amazing and the possibility of swimming and snorkeling on the cliffs are the icing on the cake. Ferruccio is a wonderful host, he gives all the necessary information and is always available. We didn't want to leave and hope to be able to live in this jewel again. Susy is a great and very nice host who was always available. We had trouble with the car on the way there and got lost several times. Susy waited patiently for us until the evening, although we should actually arrive between 1pm and 2pm. The house is very nice and clean. The beds are good. The private garden/terrace is fenced and has an outdoor shower with warm water. Which is great after the beach. Now in September it was very quiet there, which we enjoyed very much. The beautiful sandy beach is just a few steps away. The sea was great. The car can be parked on the private property by the house. On the last day of my travel companion, my travel companion broke its leg. Susy helped us out a lot. We were allowed to stay longer in the house and she helped us come back to Florence. Thanks again Susy, we wouldn't have come back without you! You are a great host!. Tanja

This picturesque apartment is located just behind the port and you can do everything by foot. The apartment is spacious with two large bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice terrace with a dinner table. Easy communication with Francesca and smooth check in. Can definitely recommend!

One of the best places we have stayed. Maria Cristina was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Amazing view over the bay of Porto Ercole, spacious and clean apartment with all facilities (even things we were not expecting such as toothbrushes). Maria Cristina gave us many useful tips on restaurants, beaches, places to go. Free parking place highly appreciated. Hope to be back! Thanks again Maria Cristina.

Francesca is a very sweet host. We arrived earlier and that was no problem. She had tips for nice restaurants, we were given a tour of her house, clear instructions about the park and so on. The house is in a beautiful well maintained park and the beach is fantastic. The garden of the house is wonderfully cool with large trees. Super nice!

Cristiana calls this a magical place and she's absolutely right! We enjoyed this wonderful place very much! The apartment with beautiful terrace fully met the description and exceeded our expectations. Communication with Cristiana was always very smooth and very friendly. It was a dream vacation for us and we would love to come back!!!
