Villa holiday rentals in Canossa

Delightful, well equipped, comfortable and really quiet. It’s a real getaway but not too far from some lovely beaches and villages; a car is a must. Do note that there is no aircon, but the fan supplied was adequate for us. Our host, Elizabetta was extremely helpful.

The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent experience. The hosts were hospitable but at the same time left us a lot of privacy. It was like being alone in the villa. The house is very nice and spacious. The outdoor space with a pool and garden is fabulous. Great experience I recommend.

Beautiful, lovingly furnished house in a quiet mountain village with great views over the mountains and in the morning also over the passing clouds. The neighbors are very helpful and warm! The kitchen is very well equipped (e.g. salad spinner, hand mixer), so I cooked a lot. In Aulla (10 min by car) there are a few restaurants, but more is going on in Sarzana (20 min) and the towns near La Spezia (30-40 min), here there are also beautiful beaches. Christiane was very helpful and quick to reach. All in all, I had a very nice three-week workation - I'd be happy to do it again. :)

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!

We spent 3 days for a bachelorette party. The villa is really crazy, even more beautiful than in the photo. Each floor is independent, with its kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The house is crazy in every detail, from the decor to the amenities included. The pergola, the pool and the view are spectacular and we really enjoyed them. We also organized a party with the deejay in the pergola, wonderful! The owner was really top: very helpful in all our requests and was also very flexible both at check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended place!!!

Marco and his family are impeccable hosts who made us feel at home. Available and always responsive. House in a great location and convenient both for going to the sea and for spending a quiet day by the pool. I'd go back!

Nice and nice house high on the mountain. Private and large. Quick communication if needed. We got a guided tour up the way to the house, it was steeper than expected. Although it was fine, that's something to consider. A nice surprise was that each room more or less had its own bathroom. Larger than what the pictures show and more rooms than in the pictures. Very cozy and warm when the sun is out. A previous review mentioned mold/smell in one of the rooms that made us nervous, but we didn't have any problems. It can get trapped in the lower rooms, but we opened windows during the day and everything was perfect. We were very happy and had a great stay!

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

The place was better than the pictures. We were well received. We couldn't get there before 3 a.m. and the hostess facilitated the check-in and we were able to enter the house after that time. The space was beautiful. All rooms have a bathroom, which made it easier for a group of 7 adults. The space with rugs by the fireplace in the living room was excellent for my 3-year-old son to play. The pool has a simply beautiful view. The area is clean and organized. Whenever I had a question, I was always answered quickly. The house is rustic and simply beautiful. The space for grilling was private for us and welcoming. A place I recommend and hope to return to one day :)

A little slice of heaven and a most authentic Tuscan experience. The location is stunning with panoramic views. We had a wonderful time.

Dilletta was a very polite and responsive host. As a family of 4 adults and 2 children, We felt the home was very accommodating. The 2 children each had a nice size bedroom. The views were beautiful and the outdoor patio was very relaxing. Because we had been traveling we were able to wash a few clothes and hang them to dry outside on a spacious clothes line. I only have 2 constructive suggestions, providing a portable fan in each bedroom would help w/ the doors being open and keeping flying insects out. The second suggestion is to weed the front garden area. The trees and flowers were beautiful and some weeds were starting to take over. All and all we would recommend staying here again. Very clean accommodation with everything you need and more. Perfect for a stay with friends, thanks to the large garden and large outdoor pool. Great location, 15 min walk from Pietrasanta historic center, 5 min drive from the beaches of Marina di Pietrasanta. There are supermarkets, bars and restaurants in the area. Punctual, friendly and thoughtful host, but above all absolutely helpful. It's a pity it's in an industrial area, but it's absolutely irrelevant once you're there! Everything was perfect and I'm happy to have met Paola and her husband. If I were to return to stay in the area, I would definitely check the availability of this accommodation first. More than satisfactory value for the price!

This place was perfect for our needs, having booked the entire villa for a business retreat with 10 people. Everyone had their own space in the private rooms and shared spaces - the living room, dining room, and kitchen - were more than spacious, perfect for spending these days together as a group! Victoria was always very helpful and kind. We hope to come back again!

It’s very spacious and extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and everything you’d hope for in Tuscany. The swimming pool was one of our favorite spots, offering an amazing panoramic view of the nearby town—just breathtaking. Our host, Tatiana , was extremely kind and welcoming. One morning, we were surprised with a delicious selection of Italian pastries for breakfast—a thoughtful and generous gesture that made our stay even more special. It’s also a great place for children, with plenty of outdoor space and a safe, relaxing environment. I would absolutely recommend this stay to families or large groups looking for a memorable Tuscan escape. I’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful week at Vincenzo's house. We were 2 families with children (5 total). The spaces in the house were perfect to accommodate everyone. The location, a 15-minute drive from the beaches of Lido di Camaiore and 35 minutes from beautiful Lucca, turned out to be perfect. Away from the chaos, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Vincenzo is also a super host! Friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended.

We had a great weekend in the house. The views of the sea and Levanto Bay are amazing. All this, in a very quiet location. In short, a great place to enjoy the dolce vita.

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday.
