Cottage holiday rentals in Canary Islands

Great accommodation, fabulous location and stunning views. This rural area is very quiet and with no light pollution clear night skies are just magical. Mostly the temperature this high up is lower than the coast but not always. The coast, which you can see from the terrace, is 20 minutes away by car. The house is modern and attention has been paid to the things that matter. A perfect base for us. The journey up from Arafo is steep for many kms and roads are narrow but often one-way. You do need google maps though – our rental car did not have a sat nav. We found the house in the dark and pouring rain. Juan was very helpful and responded very quickly. Without him we would have had real difficulties with replacing our car which had a puncture and no repair kit or locking nuts on board. Car rental company Record Go (via Opodo) was worse than useless. For organic fruit & veg: La Albahaca in Arafo and La Tajea in Mercado de Santa Cruz. For eggs: Juan’s hens! We will revisit. Loved it.

we really loved the house with the private swimming pool. the pool was a little bit cold, but my children were enjoying it and they warmed themselves up in the bath. my parents in law also enjoyed their stay. thnx!!!

Outstanding location with absolutely mesmerising views !! Away from the cluttered cities surrounded by vineyards I would highly recommend for those seeking a getaway in Tenerife. The places has not only views to offer , fully equipped with all sorts of amenities that one would ever wish for. Ellen is a great host very responsive and helpful. I would definitely be coming back for more !!!

We had a wonderful stay at in La Florida and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday away. The house and gardens were exactly as shown in the photos and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the wood burning hot tub, we purchased additional wood from the Repsol garage. The drive to the house was steep but very manageable for a confident driver. Initially we were given keys to only one of the apartments however as this had two single beds we requested the keys to the second place as this had a double bed and Susana was very accommodating in providing these.

The property is lovely and everything you need for relaxing getaway. We loved the outside area, Al fresco at its finest. Supermarket is situated at the bottom of the road, 5-10 minute walk. Puerto del La Cruz is only a 15 minute drive and playa El Bollullo is on 15 minute drive, bit of a walk down to the beach, but well worth it. also the restaurant at the top is lovely, with a great back drop. If you want a relaxing getaway away from the hussle and bussle, then this is the place for you. Wake up to beautiful views of Tiede and the sea. what more could you want. See you next time.

La estancia ha sido maravillosa. Estaba todo muy limpio y ordenado, un lugar para descansar y desconectar, y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Hay sitios para caminar y pasear por la naturaleza y el pueblo está muy cerca caminando. La cama es super cómoda. Había todo lo necesario para cocinar no faltaba ningún detalle. Lo recomiendo . Un sitio excelente.

Muy contento por todo, Jose ha sido un gran anfitrión, por desgracias no puedo decir lo mismo de los que se la alquilamos y muy recomendado para pasar un tiempo tranquilo

A nice house in a beautiful location, the garden, and the views of Tiede from it, are absolutely stunning. The house was clean and well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maykel is responsive and answered any queries we had promptly. Highly recommended.

Logement spacieux, bien situé, avec terrasse et vue sur les volcans. Les sites de Fuerteventura sont accessibles rapidement avec une voiture (- de 20 minutes pour la Capitale ...). La cuisine est bien équipée. Merci

This is a really lovely cottage in very beautiful surroundings. Everything was perfect, our host Alberto was very responsive. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The views and sunsets were gorgeous.

Arrivée dans une très jolie Finca, calme, avec jardinet, solarium, petite terrasse fleurie aménagée avec vue sur le barranco et grande terrasse avec tout l'équipement adéquate pour déjeuner ou diner Maison élégante meublée avec beaucoup de goût. Estrella nous a accueillis avec de jolis bouquets de fleurs fraîches et un corbeille remplie de fruits et d'avocats. Il y a une grande place à l'intérieur de la propriété pour garer son véhicule. La rue est un peu raide et périlleuse mais la découverte de cette propriété en vaut le coup.

Amazing apartment—it had everything I needed and more. Super well-equipped (full kitchen, great appliances, even small extras like spices and foil), clean, and stylish. Perfect location, quiet but close to the center. The host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend, and I’d love to stay again! 😊

Casa tradicional con mucho encanto, con patio interior muy bien decorado. Muy amplía y con todas las comodidades. Anfitrión pendiente en todo momento. Nuestros hijos no se querían marchar

The home was beautiful, clean and cozy. Great to take hikes around and chill at night. Like many of the previous guests my heart was stolen by ‘Manchi’ the super friendly, well behaved and lovely dog that belong to the owners living next door. Very nice family btw.

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Surf-Villa im Apartment Fuego. Die Unterkunft liegt im schönen Ort La Pared, der sehr ruhig und hervorragend für traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge und Surfer ist. Alles vor Ort ist wirklich schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der große Pool, ein Yoga-Podest und sogar eine kleine Sauna vervollständigen das ganze. Die Kommunikation mit Christof und Tine war sowohl vorher, als auch vor Ort wirklich top! Sehr zu empfehlen sind auch die Surfkurse an der Surfschule der Gastgeber! Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder 😊 PS: Beim Herd in der Außenküche handelt es sich um einen Gasherd, weshalb kochen bei sehr starken Wind manchmal schwierig sein kann. Wenn man sich darauf einstellt aber auch kein Problem:)

The house has very good facilities, kitchen has a lot of equipment, swimmingpool etc. It felt as it could have been our own country home ! The views are incredible. We could do some nice walks close by. And in Haria you can find very nice restaurants of good quality like in Arrieta.

Nos hemos alojado una semana y hemos estado muy a gusto en la casa. Al llegar había huevos frescos, aguacates, plátanos…todo de excelente calidad ; nos ha encantado el detalle. En el exterior hay muchas plantas y una gran terraza con vistas al mar. Ha sido una estancia acogedora.

José Alberto fue muy amable desde que quedamos con él para recoger las llaves. Nos enseñó la casa y estuvo disponible para alguna duda que tuvimos. La casa es muy agradable, aislada para tener tranquilidad. Es cierto que para visitar todos los días algo te añade un poco de esfuerzo para subir hasta ella, pero a nosotros nos compensó por tener la libertad de estar en el jardín, tener la parrilla y disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la zona. Volveríamos sin duda.

Great house with a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean! The house is brand new with fully equipped indoor and outdoor kitchens. Its location is just perfect. 30-40 mins drive to the airport and Fuencaliente (which turned out a great city to visit for a day trip). 10-15 mins walk to the nearest town that has a great bakery, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. Also, there are hiking trails starting near the house and the town so you don't necessarily need to drive. Monte left his delicious fruits and vegetables that we fully enjoyed for a week. We will definitely come back to stay longer!

Ein tolles und sehr altes aber sehr toll restauriertes AirBnB bestehend aus mehreren Gebäuden. Makellos sauber, riecht gut. Das heiße Wasser ist schnell leer, aber es füllt sich schnell wieder auf. Guaya reagiert sehr schnell auf Nachrichten und hat uns sogar Waschmittel und Strandhandtücher geliehen. Erstbezug problemlos durch Schlüssel in einem Schlüsselsafe möglich

We absolutely loved our stay at Jose Luis place — from the moment we arrived, it was everything we hoped for and more. Communication was super smooth and fast, and being able to check in early was such a treat after our travels. Carmen the co-host welcomed us and showed us everything. She was super friendly and her information for the area was perfect. The location is simply breathtaking — ocean views from the veranda, total peace and quiet, and the perfect spot to fully unwind. It was also a fantastic base for hiking: we did several incredible day hikes, all just a short drive away. The house itself is beautifully set up — my husband, who’s passionate about cooking, was thrilled to find such a well-equipped kitchen (plus a barbecue!). He was in heaven. And I had to bring a bit of work with me, but the strong Wi-Fi and shaded veranda made even that feel like a holiday. We truly loved every minute and it was honestly hard to leave. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Nous avons pas l habitude de se dire que nous reviendrons dans les endroits déjà occupés, car nous voyageons régulièrement pour découvrir de nouveaux endroits, mais chez Josué, nous reviendrons, ça c est sur 👍 quelle belle parenthèse dans cet endroit calme et ressourçant. La maisonnette est très accueillante, avec tout ce qu il faut, a l intérieur comme à extérieur pour passer des moments très agréables. Cet un véritable petit coin de paradis.
