Family-friendly holiday rentals in Campo de Gibraltar

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay and Nicholas’ apartment in the heart of the Golden Mile Marbella. This quaint apparent nestled amongst beautiful gardens is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities required. The complex itself has a lot of traditional charm amongst with its beautiful facade that gives a welcomed contrast to the flash of the Golden Mile. Nicholas is a real people’s person and spent time chatting to us about the history of the area as well as going above and beyond to accommodate us. He also has some amazing recommendations for local places ! We absolutely loved our stay here and we will definitely be back to this little gem.

7 of us stayed here for 3 nights and honestly had such an amazing time. We had lots planned so didn’t spend an excessive amount of time in the villa but the time we did was just brilliant - the pool / outdoor areas were just magic! Will be back :)

Lola was an amazing host. The house was clean and they provided us with All the essentials and extra things that came in handy. Lola was amazing at communicating and provided me and my friends with all the local information. 🤍🤍

The house seems expensive, but when you enjoy it, you see the number of rooms, the tranquility and the intimacy that it has, it is even cheap. Everything has a rustic and country feel, it's not urban luxury but rural luxury. To repeat, unforgettable

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful apartment in May for a long weekend to see a mutual friend who lives in Elveria, so as I go regularly it is nice to find a comfortable place to return to, and I will! Bright and cheerful and immaculately clean, exactly like the photos. Isabelle provided towels and beach towels so was easy to come for a few days with a carry on suitcase. It is 2 minutes to the beach and a welcoming new beach bar at the bottom of the road. Nikki beach is over the road but did not intrude in any way, we walked on the beach every morning to find beach bars for breakfast and coffee (plentiful). The pool area was lovely with well maintained gardens and a pool bar for snacks and drinks, again very tranquil. All in all I would definitely recommend and go back as I have stayed in lots of apartments in the area and this was the best by far. All in all the apartment is well equipped with everything you need and you’re sure to have a fabulous time!

We always like to give an honest review of the places we stay in as I would appreciate it from other travellers. First off Carols and his wife are great hosts. They are responsive and helpful. The location of this place is what sells it. It’s pretty much on the beach and boardwalk and very close to old town Marbella. Perfect location. Now a few things to be aware of. Not necessarily negative but I would have liked to have a heads up. First up parking. Yes there is free street parking but if you have any issues with parallel parking you will have to consider other options. The laneway is so freaking narrow with cars on both sides your collision sensors will be lighting up like a Christmas tree. Get the rental car insurance. Secondly since the place is on the main floor there is no outdoor seating so it can seemed closed in. Thirdly the bed is fairly hard and a double size so prepare for that if you have back issues. All in all very clean. Would recommend for a budget option.

This was a return visit to Nuscha's apartment. Everything was perfect for our nice relaxing stay. There are great restaurants on the doorstep and a beautiful quiet pool area in the private community area. Nuscha was a warm and welcoming host and was great at communicating throughout our stay. Hope to return to Alhoa Gardens again soon.

We had a lovely stay! It’s super private & peaceful, with just 4 apartments accessing the pool & garden. The apartment was clean & comfortable. Eduardo was super quick to respond & it was easy to access the apartment with the instructions. He provided a cot & high chair for our baby which was perfect, & we enjoyed being able to sit outside on the balcony as the sun set while our baby was asleep in the bedroom. The kitchen was also well stocked with kitchen roll, a fridge and cutlery, knives, salt, etc - everything you need to eat in the apartment if you wish. There’s not much to do directly in the vicinity of the space so would definitely recommend having a car - there is a car parking space with the apartment. However it was also lovely to relax in the garden with the pool - just one other couple was in the garden once when we were there & there were enough sun beds and a bed/pergola to serve all guests should all guests from the 4 apartments choose to be outside. Kelly's place is amazing! The location is perfect - right in town with many places to walk to right outside the door. The place itself is so special, an old villa with modern amenities. We had a group of 10 and it was more than enough space. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed, and we were able to cook easily. We have small kids and Kelly even though of things for the kids - toys, train sets, pencils and paper to draw, and a pack n play available on request. The rooftop terrace was wonderful to sit and enjoy the sunrise/set. And Kelly's communication made it feel like we were staying at a friend's house - she gave us restaurant suggestions and was readily available to answer questions. Vejer as a town is beautiful and there are plenty of places to drive to for a day trip. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed for weeks more!

This villa is beautiful and the view is absolutely stunning! The view is so beautiful that it almost didn’t seem real, we kept joking that it looked AI generated, like it was a Microsoft desktop wallpaper! Being able to communicate directly with the house manager (Pepe) was great to answer any queries we had. Pepe did a great job showing us around when we arrived and was flexible with arrival considering we had a 2.5 year old with us. The villa is as described. We spent the majority of our time in the pool mesmerised by the view. Marbella and Puerto Banús is only a 20 minute uber away. Plus we managed to get some uber eats delivered to us one night. There’s a mini market a 10 minute walk away. Unfortunately it started heavily raining (unusual) while we were in the mini market and the owner was SO kind to offer us a car ride back to the villa! Thank you Hamza! Overall we had an amazing time & will be back again!

Puri's hut is wonderful. Located in a quiet place and at the same time close to the most beautiful points of the area. Both Puri and her husband were very friendly and willing. Thank you! We will be back!

We had a perfect stay as a family of 4 with two young kids. The house itself was roomy, clean and had everything we needed for the week we were there. The fenced in yard was a nice bonus. There was Air conditioning in every room, a large TV with Netflix, cups/plates for the kids along with beach toys and chairs. The beach itself is close enough to hear the waves crashing and we found it to be the nicest beach in the entire area. There are also coastal walking trails 10 mins away on foot. Plenty of beautiful towns a short drive away as well. Gabriel is an excellent host and a genuinely friendly person. He let us check in several hours early on arrival and was always available to answer questions and give recommendations. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely spacious apartment. It has great amenities. It is about a 15 min walk to old town and the bridges. Would stay again.

The house is very cozy, Alonso is very friendly and in contact with us whenever we need it. Our hairies were very comfortable. Casita for an extended vacation or a simple getaway 🙏❤️

Highly recommended! It is a very practical accommodation if you go by car as there are parking lots nearby. All the time we felt right at home! The directions and communication with Diego was very good. A lot of flexibility with check-in and check-out. Diego was very nice and considerate to us.

The villa was stunning, me and my 9 friends stayed for my 30th. We opted for the warm pool and was worth it. 20 mins to Puerto Banus and 10 minutes to breathe breakfast. Kitchen amenities were class and all the bedrooms were a good size. Nacho was very responsive and answered any questions I had quick. He also accommodated our late check out which was a relief. Hairdryers and iron board was good. Bed was comfy in my opinion. Showers were always hot, I liked the long table outside for drinks. Air con was good with the remote control addition. Supermarkets were 10 minutes walk away. Some tea and coffee was provided. Room was edited based on our preferences of single or double beds. Nah I sorted out a shuttle bus to and from the airport which was cheap and classy. It’s a lot bigger than the pictures suggest. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Angela’s condo was perfect for us! Location was spectacular, waking up every morning hearing & seeing the Mediterranean was so relaxing. It is also about a 10-15 min walk to old town and the boardwalk is right outside your door. Having parking is also a big plus even in spring. Angela is great and prompt in her communications which we really appreciated. Her place is just as pictured. It is perfect for two people and has all the amenities you need. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back in the future. Not all the beds were as comfortable as the ones in the main room, but apart from that we had a great Christmas time and the surroundings are as beautiful as it gets.

We had a fantastic two month stay in Tarifa. The appartment is about a ten minute walk from the old town so close to bars and restaurants but in a quiet neighbourhood. We are a couple with no kids but the two bedroom appartment could comfortably accommodate four. There are two separate living areas and a fantastic, large courtyard. Good sized well-equipped kitchen with separate laundry.

We had a fantastic stay! The property itself was absolutely gorgeous — beautifully decorated, spacious, and set in a peaceful location that felt like a true escape. One of the highlights was definitely the private chef experience; the food was exceptional and made our stay feel extra special. The only slightly odd thing was that not all of the beds were made upon arrival. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did feel a bit unexpected given how high-end the rest of the experience was. Overall, we loved our time here and would definitely come back. Just a small tweak away from perfection!

Epic! The most beautiful space in this entire city. Every room was full of charm and Spanish glamour and character. The house was clean, the ambiance calming, and the location prime. The rooms, the garden, the pool, everything was absolutely stunning. Carlos was beyond helpful, is an amazing cook, and did everything in his power to make sure we had what we needed for our stay (he is also an AMAZING cook). Jose Maria was extremely responsive and attentive to our needs. There really are not enough characters to describe the absolute perfection that is this home. All that I can say is that we will 100% be returning.
