The barn has a living room with a black kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a loft with two beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. An idyllic spot to get away from life. Only interruptions are the wandering sheep who bring their own soundtrack of tinkling bells and the various other wildlife that makes itself heard. Totally private and secluded but with surprisingly capable WiFi, excellent sized fridge and freezer (supermarkets are 30 mins away), great BBQ, open fire with loads of logs, effective heating when required. If you want peace and quiet it's probably as close to perfect as you'll find without leaving the planet.

Listing completely as described. It's a really nice place. On the other hand, you have to love being isolated in nature. The car is necessary to move and the road is quite folkloric! Hiking departure from the house and small river at the bottom of the village , fruit trees available in the extensive garden, beautiful outdoor space to eat! The house is beautiful, everything is refurbished and the materials and equipment are premium . The bedding in particular is perfect. In short, nothing to repeat. Julien's welcome is neat and everything is thought out for your comfort. We see that he likes to share his love for this family home.

Airun’s “wagon” was perfect for my stay in Olot. It is like “glampimg” in a well thought out converted literal wagon. Even though there is no inside running water, Airun has provided everything needed to wash and clean both in the wagon and outside and in the bathroom located just across the small and sweet garden. Airun has been clever in her renovation and all is so comfortable. It made for a terrific retreat for a few days. I wanted to hike and all I had to do was walk a few steps and I could access trails to go as long as I’d like in shady forests. Cooking was easy on the 3burner propane cooktop. It was private and Airun is quickly responsive when needed. There are excellent organic food grocers in town which is only 10-15 minutes waking downhill the stairs. Would stay there again!
