Holiday rentals in Calatafimi-Segesta

Sehr schön gelegenes Landhaus, abseits der Strasse. Sehr ruhig und malerisch. Wir haben die Angeschiedenheit geschätzt. Trotzdem sind Sehenswürdigkeiten, Thermalbad oder Städte innerhalb von 30-60 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat einen Grillplatz. Wir wurden vom Irene in Calatafini abgeholt, um uns den Weg zu zeigen. Die Strasse zum Haus ist asphaltiert und nur die letzten Meter sind Naturstrasse. Es ist mit PW gut erreichbar. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen.

We spent a month at Francesca's Airbnb and felt right at home. The apartment is spacious, bright, and even more beautiful than in the photos. Located in the charming Sicilian village of Calatafimi, it's an ideal base for exploring the western side of the island. The apartment is fully equipped, and there’s convenient, free parking right at the door. Supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and pizzerias are all within walking distance. Giovy, who welcomed us on behalf of Francesca, was incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. She was always available, even accompanying us to the pharmacy when we fell ill, and surprised us with sweet treats. Also, her recommendations for the area were the best! We had a wonderful time and would love to return in the future, thank you for hosting us. Regarding remote work: It’s helpful to have a mobile data connection as a backup hotspot, as internet speed can slow down during peak times.

We had an amazing time, the location is stunning with incredible views in the middle of a peaceful, picturesque farm. Camilla and Rodrigo were excellent hosts, very friendly, helpful and responsive. They also have some great recommendations including the cable car from Trapani to Erice and Tenute Castello Inici vineyard, both worth a visit! The pool is incredibly relaxing and the BBQ area was lots of fun, we enjoyed a few nights at the house cooking on the grill. The dirt road up to the farm is bumpy in places, we did it in a Peugeot 208 hire car and it was fine. Just take it slowly and carefully. We bought some of their delicious Olive Oil too, it was fantastic.

This house blew our minds. The location is among the most beautiful that I have ever seen. The panoramic ocean views were unbelievable. The location is on a private road that is not easily accessible, which means it is very private! Francesco went out of his way to make is comfortable, even offering to provide us a gift basket of local foods (at a great low price). The view is much better than the pictures show. Our only regret was that we did not stay here longer!! We will be booking again next year. It’s worth the travel for us (Miami) just to get back to the stunning place!

The home is very modern safe and clean with comfortable queen bed. It comes with electric charger free to use for your car, and private gated driveway . It has nice kitchen with gas countertop stove and spacious room including tv and larger fridge . Has large hot water tank and bidet as well . The floors are all marble or antique porcelain and solid wood doors . I highly recommend this home and these hosts for many reasons , they are fabulous hosts and very helpful . You wont find any better place in this area , we had very comfortable and safe stay , everything we hoped for in the area and house , thank you Rosa and Giuseppe . See you next time .

Gli host Caterina e Francesco, super disponibili, cordiali e reattivi, hanno trasmesso in Casa Zahar la propria passione per il bello, omaggiando il territorio e realizzando una struttura che è più di un semplice alloggio, grazie agli spazi esterni che circondano la villetta, dal patio al barbecue, dal pool bar attorno alla piscina all'orto e al piccolo, meraviglioso uliveto. Pulizia impeccabile, zona living con cucina di pregevole fattura super accessoriata, bagno di dimensioni generose, due camere da letto minimali ma elegantemente arredate. Molto utile la zona lavanderia, elettrodomestici recentissimi. Circondata dalla quiete della campagna alle spalle di Castellammare, Casa Zahar è in posizione ideale per partire alla scoperta della Sicilia Occidentale: Scopello e Riserva dello Zingaro, San Vito Lo Capo, Erice e Trapani, ma anche Segesta e Selinunte, o Gibellina e la Valle del Belice. Consigliatissima!

Guiseppe war ein freundlicher Gastgeber und die Ferienwohnung war schön , gute Lage und hatte einen tollen Blick auf den Hügel . Ja das beste Highlight waren die heimischen köstlichen Orangen . Vielen lieben Dank.
