We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Christopher’s place. Christopher is a great host—very kind and communicative. The cottage is beautifully situated right on the lake in a peaceful and picturesque area, surrounded by stunning nature. You can take in the breathtaking views from the inside through the large windows, the deck, the surrounding grounds, the dock, or the nearby trails. The lakeside location was a calming and relaxing bonus for us. The cottage is bright, well-appointed, and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable and entertained, including board games, books about the area, a fireplace, TV, internet, and, most importantly, access to beautiful nature trails and plenty of water equipment for exploring the lake. We absolutely fell in love with it and would love to return!

This place is a true find! We went there with 10 women looking for a weekend of laughter and relaxation and we got exactly what we wanted. The fire pit, hot tub, sauna, and decks were beautiful and comfortable, even in November. The interior easily slept 10 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to prepare great food. The living area was big and suitable for a large group. Our favourite place was the big table where we sat and talked, played games, had a few drinks, and laughed. The place was as we expected it to be and we had no issues. We definitely would come back again!

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Getaway! Four of us girlfriends stayed here for a weekend and had the most wonderful time! The space was bright, spacious, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. We loved hanging out in the cozy living area, sipping coffee on the balcony with lake views, and having our own comfortable rooms to unwind. The location was ideal—peaceful, yet close cute local cafes and shops in the neighborhood. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and felt super safe and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend for a girls’ trip or a relaxing escape from Toronto!

Dr. Brown was responsive and helpful from the minute I booked our stay. We were able to be together as a family, play pool and other activities with the home as well as get around to surrounding areas easily. It was quiet and nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we were very thankful for that.

Gopinath has a beautiful home on the Ottawa River, just on the outskirts of home. Home is Beautiful with plenty of space for everyone. Will definitely keep this on the radar for future visits to town.

We had a wonderful weekend at the orchard :) We were travelling with a baby and a toddler and this was the perfect place for them - very safe, great area to play, amazing pool. It was very clean and even the furnitures seemed brand new. Ryan and Khristal were wonderful - they replied very quickly and were so flexible. it really shows they care about their Airbnb. It's very difficult to find something in the area and we would recommend this property to all We would definitely go back in a second !! See you next time !!

beautiful and luxurious cottage that easily accommodated the 12 of us, with very well equipped kitchen, beautiful lake, varieties of boats to enjoy it, fire pit and wood provided, small basketball court, zip line, volleyball, rustic mini pot and more. would definitely recommend. great hosts, always very responsive and cooperative!

Shirley's place is cozy yet spacious with a well equipped kitchen. It was the perfect place to spend during the Christmas holidays thanks to lots of Christmas decorations and a hot wood stove. Beds and sofas are comfy. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful stay at Nature’s nook! The home was large enough to accommodate our big group with plenty of space for everyone to relax, eat, and enjoy. All the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The house was stocked with many games and activities for us! The lake was beautiful and we loved using all the outdoor activities that the hosts left. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

We had a great time at Parkers place! His place was just as presented in the listing, very private, beautiful view of the lake and very spacious. The sauna on the property just beside the lake was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful, private getaway!

We had a great time at this cottage. Very private with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s a 10 outta 10! I think the only thing that we would suggest is having a picnic table in the yard which would take it from a 10 to 11! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts. This is truly an amazing location.

If anyone is looking for the perfect getaway spot with family and friends, this lovely river retreat has it all!! Gorgeous property, loads of space for guests to gather together or all have their own little small magical experiences. This home has everything that could be asked for. Location was easy to find and access, yet felt fully private and removed from the rest of the world. This place is set up for entertaining and relaxing, I was impressed from the moment we opened the door. The house is spacious, airy, and incredibly comfortable. Everyone felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, whatever you can think of was there, and the bedding and furniture were so fresh and comfortable. Extras everywhere! Our hostess Julie was amazing to communicate with. From our very detailed access instructions, to responding quickly to any questions, she made this weekend a phenomenal one. Julie has created a riverside oasis for any group big or small, and we would happily come back!

This is a great place to stay with young kids. Lots of activities to keep them busy and they had a blast jumping off the dock and using the paddle boards and kayaks. Also appreciated being able to warm up in the hot tub. The kitchen was clean and organized and perfect for making meals. The beds were comfy and clean. Overall would recommend and would stay again!

The Blue Oasis is a stunning cottage located on an absolutely beautiful lake. Mitch was a great host and was always available to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed the use of the boat and kayak and relaxing by the fire overlooking the lake. This immaculate cottage had everything we needed for a very relaxing getaway. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind, this is it !!!

We stayed at the 'Red Pine Adventure House' for a group trip and had an incredible time! The setting is absolutely beautiful—right on the river with the peaceful sound of the rapids. We had our private dock with multiple watercrafts, which were clean and in excellent condition. The house was spacious and cozy, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out together. The large windows in the living room facing the riverside were a highlight. The kitchen had everything we needed for our group to prepare the meals.. Something noteworthy is that the host did not cheap out on any of the equipment/utensils in the house. They were all premium! Adian was very friendly and made our experience super smooth! He was very responsive to any messages we sent and was very informative. He was also very accommodating to some of our extra requests. Highly recommend this spot for any group looking to reconnect with nature, share some laughs, and make great memories. We'd definitely come back!

Beautiful cottage and area! lovely open concept and had everything anyone would need. The kids enjoyed running around in the yard and the paddle boat and kayaks were a big hit. The stunning sunset views were my favorite!

Stephen’s place was so beautiful, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect cozy getaway to help with the mid winter blues. Check-in and check-out times were very generous, and the hosts were so kind! We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside.

One word: WOW! We had an incredible stay at Andy’s place for the long weekend. Everything you could need is available; they’ve thought of it all! The cottage is big, bright, and very well thought out. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hot tub and lake are spectacular. The rooms are lovely and there’s so much space! Lovely cottage - very comfortable and stylish. The surrounding area was goegeous mid October. Kaity and Adam are great hosts, they responded to our nessages within minutes. We spent a great time with friends there, and I can only imagine how wonderful it is in summer. The only thing we missed was a microwave, other than that the cottage has everything and more.

The home by the lake was an absolutely amazing stay. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The views of the lake and surrounding nature were peaceful and beautiful, offering a nice sense of privacy. It was a quiet and relaxing spot, perfect for getting away. The host was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. They also gave us some helpful recommendations for the area. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway.
