Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cairns

This was truly one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed in. It has everything and anything you could ever need. The beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve had in a hotel or Airbnb. The views and architecture of this house were phenomenal. It’s definitely a house. I would love to own and live one day. We had three great days up on the leg whiteboard in each day and plenty of space for everyone to still do what they needed to do and everyone not feel like that was stepping on each other’s toes.

A wonderfully authentic farm cottage with generous living spaces and cosy wood stove for cool nights. Very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Roger for being a wonderful host. Best, Katharina and Ross.

This house was presented beautifully and was an amazing place to stay only being a short distance from Port Douglas. We made lovely memories out in the entertainment area around the pool & was a lovely place to host our family and get ready for our destination wedding. Erin was reliable, supplied everything to make the house child friendly & she was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

A great little home in an idyllic setting by Lake Tinaroo. Walking distance to the Quirky little town of Yungaburra and within driving distance to many natural wonders of FNQ which are definitely worth visiting. We had a lovely time while staying in this lovely little home enjoying many a meal on the back deck, while taking in the view and watching different wildlife pass by. The home was very clean & comfortable and our host Michelle was easily contacted providing any assistance where we needed. I highly recommend visiting the area and staying at this peaceful lakeside property. We have had a wonderful time exploring Yungaburra and many iconic tourist destinations in the surrounding areas, it really is a beautiful part of the country.

We had a great stay at Kylie's place at Lake Tinaroo. It provided a great base for those who worked at the Rotary FNQ Field Days and for me it was perfectly placed to explore the tablelands. The accomodation itself was great, loved having the two living spaces for our group, we could be together, hang out, play some pool but also have a bit of space and privacy with the upstairs downstairs bedrooms. Very clean and all needs accommodated self catering wise with a great main kitchen well stocked with appliances etc. While we didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities that Kylie makes available I can see others really enjoying themselves in the local area with the bikes and kayaks. Highly recommend a stay at Kylie's and hopefully we can get back there some time.

A great way to escape the city for a night or more. Central location in Yungaburra and within walking distance. The description of the Cozy Studio is spot on. Would definitely recommend!

The resort is located in a beautiful and peaceful tree-lined part of Lake Tinaroo with walking tracks, playgrounds and is close to the dam wall. There is a nearby mini mart for basics and you can hire kayaks, bikes and free use of fishing rods from the resort. Kylie is very accommodating and helpful. The apartment we booked was spacious, clean and had a view of the lake. The resort also lends you board games if needed. A great location.

We had a fantastic stay at Nicole’s place! The home was spotless, tidy, and thoughtfully arranged—nothing felt cluttered. Nicole was such a generous and kind host, offering quick responses and plenty of local suggestions even before our arrival, which would be super helpful if you weren’t familiar with the area. The little extras throughout the house made our stay even more convenient and comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful, and even with a wedding happening nearby on Saturday, the atmosphere remained peaceful and there was still plenty of parking. We felt right at home and appreciated how everything was so well-prepared for a relaxing stay. 100000% recommend Nicole and her home—thank you so much for letting my family and I enjoy your lovely space. We will definitely be back again and again!

Tinaroo is a beautiful place. Short drive to lots of lovely towns and picturesque walks and look outs. Great size unit for our family of 5. Love having a laundry while we’re away. The pool is amazing and the perfect temperature.

The unit was clean and tidy and in the heart of Yungaburra. We enjoyed the spa ... the kids that is ..... and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful stay! Our host Inge was beyond friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were seamless. Loved the paddy melons out the front every morning!

I stayed here with two of my young children for two nights in winter. We had a lovely time exploring the lake on the kayaks (note there are no life jackets provided) and taking in the beautiful view at different times of day. There was everything we needed to cook, relax in front of the fire (make sure to grab some wood from the Yungaburra supermarket) and sleep comfortably. Claw foot bath was a treat for the kids with plenty of hot water during a cold period. The house was very clean and great size for a family of three or four. There is plenty to explore including a tree swing a short walk around the lake - and access to Netflix! Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Michael

This place is the bomb My husband and I wanted a one night break away as we live in Cairns. This exceeded all expectations. Owner has an incredible attention to detail. Spa bath was incredible and electric fire etc Do yourself a favour, this place exceeded expectations…

Nice clean motel style accommodation with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Very basic kitchen so better to plan to eat out at any of the great surrounding pubs, cafes and restaurants. Yungaburra is a great little town, we even saw a tree kangaroo down by the creek! Checking in and out was super easy & non contact required. Thanks for a pleasant stay!
