I was fortunate enough to be Pierre’s guest in Cahors for 15 days, and I couldn’t recommend this home more highly. The home is located literally a stone’s throw from the Pont Cabessut, making it an easy walk to the twice weekly Cahors market. The house (really a mansion) has been built up over the centuries. The upper half of the house where I stayed, was probably built in the early 19th century and has been modernized. It featured 14’ ceilings with beautiful crown molding, Persian rugs in a bedroom and main living room, a very fast internet connection, a huge flat screen TV with lots of French and English programming, comfy seating, a huge dining room, lots of interesting art collected by the owner, & beautiful tall French windows with shutters. The kitchen was well-equipped; the bathroom was modern and featured a tall towel warmer and a big shower. The grounds featured a pool, plum trees in blossom, and purple crocuses pushing up. 5 stars, and I hope to return before too long!

The accommodation is really super cute, you feel at home thanks to the neat atmosphere (decor, colors, comfortable furniture). Nothing is missing, even in kitchen consumables. Everything is close on foot, restaurants, pont valentré etc... And in the parking lot on the docks there is always a place (at least in late May there is) The hostess is friendly and flexible, really very nice! Perfect experience, thank you Cécile.

Derbora was very proactive with its information, it was very flexible in question of the entrance of the property. The property is well situated in the center of the city. It has supermarkets, restaurants nearby. The apartment is super complete and very comfortable. The stay was great . Many thanks for everything !!
