Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Caddo lake

We had a great time! We swam, fished, kayaked & enjoyed the peaceful scenery and wildlife. This place was great and Kayla was awesome!

Pete and Shelly’s place was very nice. Lots of room for our family. Everything was clean and well kept. We did not experience any issues. The neighborhood was peaceful and the a/c kept us cool. My grown kids loved the arcade game system. Great overall stay. Thank you for having us and would stay there again if ever in the area.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. It’s such a peaceful, beautiful spot. Lots of room to spread out as there were 8 of us in and out! Jan is a great hostess and takes great pride in this home. It’s been a wonderful time in our lives and we appreciate being able to stay at McCullin on Parks as it was 4 minutes from Sainte Terre. It was a perfect wedding weekend!

Such a wonderful place to stay on Caddo! The hosts were very responsive and attended to our minor issues. The cabin is well stocked and we needed for nothing while we were staying! We have already planned our second visit at this location.

We had an amazing stay at Britney’s place! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Britney was so welcoming and provided all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and stay. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!!

This house was so beautiful and very well taken care of. The back porch is perfect for quiet morning coffee with a beautiful view. We had such a wonderful time. Our host was wonderful and took such great care of us and took time out of his busy schedule to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. I highly recommend.

Al is hands down one of the best hosts we have experienced in the Shreveport area. Immediately reached out when I booked the air bnb to introduce himself and see if I needed anything. He was a lifesaver and allowed us to do a same day last minute rental so we could come down and help a family member in the hospital. Al even offered to help us with anything we needed due to the circumstances. The neighborhood is so quiet and located near everything you need. You will see many families walking around so it is extremely safe. The space is exactly how it was described. Extremely cozy and updated. I even fell asleep on that comfy couch a couple nights because it was so comfortable. Make sure to check out the local coffee shop in the church one block away! Thank you again Al for everything. You were a lifesaver for my family.

This has been one of the most pleasant trips I’ve had. From the time I walked in I felt right at home, the place was just as described and to be honest the pictures doesn’t do this place its true justice. Very comfortable and cozy and this will definitely be my go to place when in Shreveport.

Our stay was very relaxing, just what was needed during spring break and a getaway from all the turmoil. There is adequate cell coverage (T-Mobile, allowed for calls when needed.) There is no seperate wi-fi service but that is a refreshing plus. There is Dish TV if you really have to tune in to the talking-heads telling us how bad things are. Or, you can relax, read by the river; bring a guitar 'n make music on deck or in a screened room. OH! Chalk paintings on the driveway! :) Fun stuff. Kayaks are also available. Tours of the bayou and lake available, we used Aaron of Mystic Tours and had a great time. Keith has the number available in a large binder that with history of the area (a very good read if you take the time, for instance: Steamboats used to ply the waters through to Jefferson). There is also a photo album of the house construction that is pretty cool to thumb through. It is about a 30 minute drive to historic Jefferson which is a nice day trip.

Staying at the cabin by the lake was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a serene postcard scene. The view of the lake was breathtaking,calm, crystal-clear waters that shimmered under the morning sun and reflected the most stunning sunsets in the evening. The cabin itself was equally impressive. It was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. From kitchen essentials to spices, every detail had been considered. It felt like a home away from home, only better, with nature right at your doorstep. Waking up to the sound of birds, enjoying coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, and winding down with a fire made for the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether we were canoeing, stargazing, or just unwinding in the peace, every moment was special.I cannot recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking to recharge,reconnect with nature, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Location was great! Right next to the water with a private boat ramp. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer if you bring your boat. Cool slide and swing for the kids to play on. The hot tub was definitely a plus! The outdoor kitchen was awesome as well as all of the sitting space outside. The inside was super clean and had everything you would need inside. Austin was an excellent host who helped us find the best fishing spots on the lake. We caught a ton of fish close to the house!! Highly recommend this place!!!!! You will not be disappointed!

We just moved to the area and this place was perfect with the on site clean storage! Very peaceful and private setting to relax and enjoy the outdoors. At night, put the phone away and listen to the frog and owl sounds, they are a joy to listen to. Thanks for making our extended stay so memorable!

Great location. Quiet area with Great views. The dock and kayaks were great, kept our 9 year old occupied the entire time. With the water level being a little high we were able to bring our bass boat to the dock for even easier access to the lake. The host was friendly and very responsive.

My older kids & I stayed one night with our puppy! We had to cut it short a night but due to family things I had to get back home. We got some dirt on a white blanket & especially due to it being white, I threw it in the washer. After, we twisted & squeezed it out outside then put it in the dryer. We shortly realized the dryer had no heat. I had to run so I hung it across the dining chairs to dry with a fan pointed on them. I messaged & told him after calling the number he asked me to. I got no answer until a few hrs later which was fine because he was trying his best to be accommodating & apologetic. He mentioned getting the dryer fixed/ replacing for future guests! IF you bring a dog, the house has a fence around it. If it is a small dog like ours (approx. 13#) be prepared to keep them completely supervised outside or on a teather as the drive gate & walk through gate has gaps mine could squeeze through if she tried. I put the rolling trash can in front of the drivegate. It worked!
