Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Büyükada

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Caner has a very cozy place! Great for four people. Although, It gets pretty hot in the 2nd and 3rd story of the home. Air conditioning is only on the first floor. Bathroom could use an update too, there’s a little bit of black mold forming on the rim of the bathtub. Other than that, the place is very nice and close to the market streets.

Mr. Rojhat was a caring person, clean and beautiful at home.

This was our second time staying at the little white house, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The home was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our family reunion — we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood is beautiful and full of charm, with plenty of great cafes, bars, and shops nearby, and the Bosphorus just a short walk away. Suha and his team are incredibly kind and responsive, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The value for what you get is truly impeccable. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back again in the future. Thank you again for being such a thoughtful host.

If you plan to visit the historic sites in Istanbul, Giorgio’s place should be first on your list of places to look at. Located within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, the Palace, the Grand Bazaar and more, Giorgio’s apartment was an ideal spot for what we wanted to see in Istanbul. The apartment was clean, the bedrooms spacious and the hosts were super responsive. Communication was quick and helpful. The airport transfers for three day stays and longer made check in a breeze. And Giorgio arranged for return transfers to the airport (for a fee). This made checking out a breeze. There is a fantastic restaurant 10 meters from the front door (Begonville Cafe) where the workers treat you like family. Overall, our visit to Istanbul was stress free in part due to Giorgio’s apartment. We had a great experience and would recommend anyone to stay at Giorgio’s place.

Great place, really nice neighborhood and Moussaab is very helpful. It's a tight place for eight people but workable and great value for money.

The listing was exactly as described, and we were so impressed that we decided to extend our stay. The area is conveniently located within walking distance of popular attractions like the Galata Tour, Galata Port, and the Egyptian Spice Market. Moreover, the neighborhood boasts a vibrant food scene that offers a wide variety of culinary delights. However, it’s worth noting that the area has several steep hills, so it’s advisable to pack light and comfortable footwear for your exploration.

Truly an unforgettable stay! Begum was a wonderful host—she responded quickly to all our questions and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to eat and visit. She was warm, reliable, and made our stay so comfortable. And most of all—the view! It was absolutely incredible. The view from this place is so stunning, it honestly deserves to be a famous sightseeing spot. Like a picture postcard, we found ourselves pausing to admire it again and again throughout our stay. The only thing to note is that there are about 100 steps up to the apartment, which can be a bit challenging. But once you reach the top, the view and the feeling of arrival are more than worth it! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly special experience in Istanbul.

Anastasia and the team were extremely efficient with responding to any questions and very helpful with recommendations. The apartment was lovely and had many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. It was easy to travel by bus and tram to all the tourist spots. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Fantastic apartment. Can’t beat the location! Murat was super friendly, met us downstairs and made sure everything was ok before leaving. Couldn’t recommend it enough. The street gets busy during the day as it leads straight to Galata Tower but from the bedroom you don’t hear any noise and can sleep peacefully. 10/10

The hostess is a very nice and communicative hostess, who was always helpful. The accommodation was as described and the view in the evening from the terrace was simply fantastic.

I would highly recommend staying at Başak’s apartment in Moda! She made it very easy to check in and out, and had thoroughly cleaned the apartment before checking in. The apartment is in the perfect location too! Thank you, Başak!

Great place to stay, I can only recommend it! Very close to the center, public transport, but if you like to walk a little, you can reach the main sights on foot within 1 hour. The apartment is clean, it matches the description. In the staircase, you can easily climb the 108 steps, even with a 20 kg suitcase. Cihan is very kind, helpful, responds to every message almost immediately! The mattress of the bed is very comfortable, we slept very well in it. The washing machine and dryer were very useful and we also used the water filter regularly. On weekends, there are parties in the buildings opposite, but by closing the windows, the sound can be minimized and the noise disappears at 2 a.m. If I had to mention a negative, I would mention the creaking of the bed frame and the little loading space. The mattress of the bed is very good, but if you move, it squeaks a lot. Unfortunately, there was only one drawer where we could put some of our clothes. But these problems are negligible!

Dilek's place was modern and beautiful with many amenities and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing we found uncomfortable was that the smaller of the two bedrooms was hot and it did not have AC. The larger bedroom and the living room did have AC. We thought to open the window but the window faced the hallway inside the building. Overall it was a great modern apartment and we were happy with our decision to stay there. Dilek was easy to reach and responsive. thank you Dilek!

Lovely district with many good bars and restaurants. Very clean flat with comfortable bed and sofa in the living room. Great view from the roof terrace. A fantastic option in Cihangir district.

We had a great time in Istanbul at this apartment located in Beyoğlu, a short walk to Galata Tower. The apartment is very clean, recently renovated, quiet, and perfectly equipped. It has a separate bedroom with a very comfortable mattress, ideal for a good rest after a day of sightseeing. The host, Ram or Karim, is extremely available and attentive. They really know how to welcome: bottled water in quantity, toilet paper, everything is planned, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional: 2 minutes from Istiklal Avenue, the most commercial in Istanbul, with many good deals (much cheaper than in Paris!), while being away from the noise. Also close to the tunnel to reach the Galata Bridge, the tram to get to the old town, and a few minutes from Şişli. This is, without a doubt, one of the best locations to experience Istanbul. This is a nice spot in Nişantaşı. Definitely a very safe part of Istanbul that will feel very comfortable for visitors, especially with 24 hour security in the building. The apartment is quiet and peaceful and overlooks a nice courtyard. It's as pictured, and Kerem is a great host, always quick to respond. It's great for one person for short stays.

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.
