Vincent is a very nice and responsive host! One of the room aircon didn’t function well, so I inform Vincent in the morning and left the house. When we come back, we saw a new aircon!! That’s really surprise us! He really trying his best to make us feel comfortable at the house. I really appreciated that! Felt so lucky to manage to book Vincent house! Definitely will book his house again in future when we come to Penang!

Excellent in every way. Where do I start… the location cannot be beat. Armenian street is THE George Town street to see, and it’s walking distance to many amazing restaurants, hawkers centers, boutique shops, street artworks, and other attractions like the esplanade and large shopping malls. The home itself has a very peaceful feel, oozing with oldtown charm, tastefully furnished, and very spacious. The beds are comfortable, the aircon is excellent, the hot/cold filtered water machine is super convenient, and the washer/dryer works well. Things to note: The bathroom ceiling is quite low- if you’re over 5’10” you’ll be stooped over, but they provide a shower seat. There is an atrium in the middle of the home that is open to the floor below and the shop on the ground floor. This is no issue, but something to be aware of if you have toddlers like us that are, at times, difficult to keep calm and quiet.

It's a great place to stay for a big family, even with small kids because it has a big living and dining area to play and to chill. Mabel is a great host with warm hospitality.

Great location. Host was attentive we had an issue with the stove and toaster and he took care of it replaced the toaster and gave us an electric wok to heat our food. Enjoyed our stay will be back, liked the location and close proximity to shops and restaurants. Malaysians are very friendly and hospitable.

5 Stars – Peaceful, Clean, and Relaxing Stay! I had a truly wonderful stay at DK's. The check-in process was as smooth as silk and hassle-free, with clear instructions provided ahead of time. The unit was spotless—very clean - even the sheets so clean, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the photos. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the swimming pool from the balcony—it was such a relaxing spot to unwind, especially in the evenings. The entire place is located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The unit has everything in the kitchen, you name it you have it. So dont worry. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable getaway. Nice place, strategic location with choices of eateries nearby, the host was helpful and responsive. Only issue was parking – had to use visitor parking and inform the guard every time we went in or out. For longer stays, renewing overnight parking daily was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, everything was good!

Fabulous apartment with everything you need. Amazing pool at your doorstep. Laundry facilities were great. Easy to get a grab and get anywhere you want in Penang. Excellent instructions from host and very responsive. Highly recommend and will book again!

Shinly was a really good host. very responsive and helpful...from start when I first enquired about the unit until our departure. The unit was large, clean and comfortable. There were a couple of very minor problems but Shinly fixed them immediately. the location and views wonderful. The unit ceilings were really high at 12 feet. the building was nice. easy to get Grab at very reasonable cost. Having a supermarket downstairs in the retail area was a big plus. some of the food outlets on the ground floor at music in the evenings. The sounds from these entertainment were minimal n we often did not hear it. Yes, thumbs up of Shinly. the unit. we stayed there for 3 n half weeks.

We really enjoyed our stay at Siang’s Place at Straits Quay. This was the first AiraBNB in a long time where a person showed up to check us in and out. Kev was our contact person during our stay and he was kind, helpful and always available. The unit was clean and comfortable matching the description on the listing. All of the other nice things that people have said in their reviews are true. Even though the unit does not face the water, the balcony is large and nicely shaded in the morning for enjoying our coffee. Some of the things we really liked include the pool and gym (new equipment in the gym and strong AC), the wonderful grocery store just a few steps away, the walking paths along the water (perfect for morning or evening walks), easy pick up and drop off for Grab, and the weekly cleaning service included in the fee. Great stay, we will come again. Thanks Kev and Siang.

The place is lovely. Great for a vacation. Beach is nice, night market is... well, night market-y, the pool is LOVELY, and the gym is great. Mostly quiet - watch out for holiday nights though, the traffic is a nightmare! The space is great, nice kitchen. Gary is very helpful! Grab works to get all your food delivered. So I would LOVE to live there forever... just a bit expensive once you know Penang prices for long term stay. So it is perfect for a vacation!

Weykey is great host, she gave clear instruction upon our check in/out time, always responsive and also helpful. Her unit is superb, Spotlessly clean, has a great view towards the ocean and the city, lots of big windows, bright, bed was soo comfy and a have a nice kitchen set up. We truly have no complain about her unit and loving every second we spent there. Will definitely book this unit again if we happen have a chance to go back to Penang!

Perfect place for my family of 4. So cosy with a Great view. The pool table is for sure a good plus. My family enjoyed the stay here. Host was very responsive too

Edward’s place was great. John met us on arrival outside and took our bags in for us, showed where everything was and took us up to the pool and gym. There are restaurants downstairs and it’s a short Grab ride to Gurney Plaza. Sam’s Groceria is downstairs and Lotus’s supermarket about 10 minutes’ walk. We didn’t use the large terrace much because it was too hot for us even with the fans on, but spent some hours every day by the pool, which we had to ourselves most of the time. The apartment is large with good air conditioning and fans. We hardly used the kitchen because we didn’t want to cook as there are so many food options around. I had a facial at Aster Spring salon downstairs and my friend had a pedicure in the nail salon on the first floor. It was a great place to stay, so thank you Edward and John.
