If you like the simple, this is the place- no material luxury but you'll get it in peace and simple living where time becomes the luxury. Great hiking opportunities nearby. This place is special. The cabin is so incredibly cozy and the host so nice and helpful. This was the 2nd time I was here and I would be happy to come back. Here you will find peace and quiet, and for my purpose the location was perfect. Highly recommended! Thanks to me!

Had a lovely stay in Lines beautiful calm bohemian orangerie. Particularly liked being in the countryside but so easy to get into central Oslo by bus and coordinated ferry. So easy even after a late night in the city. Thank you

The cabin is the ideal place to get away for a few days and leave stress behind you. You have everything you need, but it's worth bringing your own plates/camping dishes. Unfortunately, the pump did not work, but there are enough canisters to get water at the lake or the streams. Firm shoes are for the way are recommended If you park at the train station, you should make sure to make the parking badge visible;)

It was our second holiday in Rauland and we felt very comfortable in Richard and Monica's house again. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we could enjoy the view of the fascinating mountains from the large terrace. The house is very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a ski tour. Richard and Monica are wonderful hosts and always very helpful. The central location of the house is ideal for winter sports and excursions in the surrounding area. We made it to the highest mountain Gaustatoppen this time and it was a great experience. Rauland is always worth a visit and we would love to come back.

Matches the photos, the cabin is just as described. Playground and animals were full time for the child.

Delightful, very relaxing, more than satisfied with everything. There are no clear words for our 11 days there. The house is fantastically secluded on a lake that is outstanding. From there you could do a lot of hiking, fishing and without end picking blueberries and snacking because the whole area is booming. If you look closely, you will find Moltebeeren. The house is lovingly furnished. Nothing is missing. Getting water and showering is an experience, so we appreciate the daily consumption again. It was a pleasure with Henriette who was always in contact with us and always took care of our well-being. We were also informed of information about heavy rain. The house is so clean and so cosy. Feeling like you travel to your own village. The host and her son are so friendly. The host allowed us to cook and celebrate Eid. We eat together with his eldest son. And become friends. The best part of this house is you can see fjord around this house by drone. 🥰

We rented the hut with 3 friends for hiking to enjoy a quiet week in nature. It was perfect for this. The hut is secluded on a forest lake, is easy to reach on foot (700m from the car) and corresponds exactly to the description. The area is wonderful for hiking on a variety of single trails and there is plenty to see in the area even on rainy days. In the evening, you can enjoy your time at the campfire, grill or relax in the hut in front of the fireplace. Overall, a great experience!

Ivar was a caring wool host. He was thoughtful and made sure we were comfortable. The cabin was amazing. Absolutely deserted. We didn't meet a human. The peace and quiet was rewarding. We enjoyed the peace and nature was unique. A priceless experience in the mountains, in the woods, and by the lake.

Super clean, bed was extremely comfortable, had all the essentials from towels to coffee to saucepans, an amazing view, and Victoria was SO SO helpful and kind!!! Would definitely recommend and come again :)

A lovely place to come to be able to unplug 100% from everyday life. Beautiful view. Also got a good explanation of where we could walk up on the oak map peak that can be highly recommended. Easy trip that took us a total of 1 hour. Only 10 minutes drive from the place. In addition to the view, the goats and dog Dagny were great entertainment from the window. Local cider and eggs from the hens helped put the icing on the cake for us. All in all a wonderful stay for a couple with child-free🤗

The cabin is a gem! Very comfortable, well equipped (we like to cook :) ) and a very relaxing atmosphere. The hosts respond really fast, and hosted us very last minute. Within 30 minutes of the inquiry to book we were all set for the same night! You will find comfortable bedding, and a cozy place for a nice getaway. Nice to know > there are no curtains, but we were prepared for the bright nights: sleeping masks do the trick. Our stay at the cabin was definitely a plus on our road trip to Norway.

A clean, tidy and lovingly furnished cottage and terrace. what a quiet and tranquility. Really everything is thought of to make your stay enjoyable. after we lost our way, Roger and his wife came to us by car and stayed with us in the area until we arrived at the cottage. What a service. So incredibly sweet.

Wonderful place, Nice surroundings. Excellent for fishing right in front of the property or even better by boat in the river begna. In summer and rain be prepared for a lot of mosquitoes.
