We had a great time at the house with our kid and friends visiting from abroad. The house is very modern and spacious. The view is fantastic. We had everything we needed for a chill long weekend. Per Inge replied all our messages very fast. We appreciated flexibility with check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with stunning views, lovely lounge room and fireplace, and a great deck and jacuzzi. Also close to town for getting groceries etc.

Spend a nice week in a relaxing environment. Beds very comfortable and also the howling of the huskies every now and then had its charm. Will be happy to come back

We had a great stay at the cabin, especially the hot tub was a huge asset given the cold weather the first days. The bathroom was a bit dark, but the shower made up for a lot;). The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need during the stay, it just could have been a little cleaner. The beds were lovely! In short, we'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house with a perfect view over the mountains, truly breathtaking! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and beautiful nature.

Shortly before arrival, all useful information came in the guidebook, such as key box, sauna and pool instructions, etc. We got along very well and it was even more beautiful than in the photos! We were a family of 4 with 3 nights. The cottage is really nice, very cozy and beautiful outdoor areas. The kitchen was not so big, but it was fine. Beautiful view from the wooden terrace. The wilderness bath was just perfect. We can clearly recommend others to use the cottage. We enjoyed short walks near the cottage. Sandvatnet and Fagerfjell. We also drove to Flætebakkfjellet, where we went to the top, where there was a view of Blefjell.

Super lovely stay for my parents from the UK to enjoy their first cabin experience. Large family cabin perfect for families young and old. Great spot to get to explore Rjukan and Telemark. Lovely history and quite a famous family cabin in Hytte magazine! Takk

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the cosy cabin! The little kitchen and bathroom were adequate and we didn't miss anything during our stay. Would recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful stay with beautiful views.

What a small, beautiful gem by the river. The cottage absolutely sweetened our last stop of our tour and surprised us. We thought it was so much nicer than the pictures showed. Everything is very well maintained, from the garden, boat to kitchen and bathroom. It was impressively clean and looked like first occupancy. Everything you need has been thought of: new candles, dishwashing tabs, new dishwashing sponge, etc. We had experienced this differently before. But in particular, Eirin and Rolf provided the house with loving details, which we were very happy about. There were fresh flowers on the table, the heaters were turned on beforehand and we could spend the evening comfortably by candlelight. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Eirin and Rolf. It was nice to meet you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great stay with our dogs, they loved the fully fenced garden. Beautiful surroundings, great hiking opportunities for all levels. Would visit again!

Sissel's cabin is nothing short of splendid! Tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, it offers a splendid view of the lake and the right atmosphere to relax in nature. Sissel provided us with all the necessary information and was always available. We hope to return soon and recommend staying in this magical place!

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place! Good communication and very helpful before and during the stay. The place is a lovely mountain cabin, worth coming back to. Unfortunately the sauna did not work BUT that was communicated beforehand. The place was in very good condition, especially considering that guests have to clean themselves as the cabin is quite remote. Will be coming back ☺️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is incredibly cozy and spotless clean, with so many thoughtful details that made us feel right at home. It’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Eirin was always easy to reach and extremely helpful with local tips and recommendations. We were so impressed that we’re already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended!

We were 9 people (5 adults and 4 children). Kristine's house met all our standards of comfort and elegance, with a magnificent view of the mountains and lake. The location is really nice for nature lovers and children for hiking, tobogganing and skiing. We wanted to discover Norway in all its splendor, and now we have! Kristine is available and will advise you on what to see and do in the area. We 100% approved this house!!!😁

Super cozy, clean and well equipped cabin with plenty of space and nice location. Anne-Linn appears nice, helpful and available. Around the cabin, you can just get loose with outdoor activities in both summer and winter! We would gladly came back here 😍

What a great place and what a great cottage. We take care of everything, down to the smallest details. Everything has been done to make the guests happy. You'll feel right at home. And we will definitely come back. Anne Marie was a very friendly and hospitable woman. For us, the best place ever in Norway where you can breathe in the Norwegian freedom.

The house is everything the photos show and more! Incredibly beautiful view that you can keep looking at. House itself is very cozy and offers everything you need. Perfect layout to stay with family or 2 couples. Very nice seating areas both inside and outside. Sauna wonderful luxury. The area is beautiful for walks (up high😊) and it is half an hour from the fantastic Kistefos museum! And then also close to Oslo, while you are totally in nature, with peace and quiet. Blissful! Trine is very attentive and always responded quickly. We would have liked to stay longer and certainly hope to come back!

We had a great stay with the family in a very idyllic place. The cabin was by the river and it was possible to fish and borrow a boat and canoe. The cabin was fully heated and the beds were made up on arrival. The host responded quickly to requests and was very helpful and pleasant. The cabin was nicely renovated with nice and thoughtful details.

We had a great, relaxing time at Ulriks Cabin. The nature around is beautiful and you can really calm down from the stressful city life there.
