Family-friendly holiday rentals in Burgundy

Pleasant cabin, easy to access apart from the steps to access the cabin not wide enough, the pleasant Nordic bath but not easy to access in the sheets provided with slabs would have been warmer! Shower not big enough, difficult to close the doors!Not very clean cabins present hair dust in the sinks dirty hobs, cobwebs and so on... welcoming and very nice host.

Beautiful and unusual stay. We loved everything, the decor, the calm, the total change of scenery.

We had a great stay at Corinne and Pierre-Philippe's. The accommodation is great, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the view. We had very good advice on activities to do and restaurants. The young Vaïa is adorable, the center of attention. We'll be happy to go back!

Our stay was wonderful, the cottage was cozy, well appointed and plenty spacious for my husband and three kids (9, 8, 4). We enjoyed sitting on the patio for dinner overlooking the town and the hot tub was a hit!

We had a very good weekend with friends, the cottage is fully equipped, quiet and well located, the garden is a real haven of peace and communication with the owners is simple and pleasant, nothing to say we would love to come back.

The tower and the environment are enchanting, the garden is sublime, the pool is warm, the birds are singing and the cat Sucette is adorable. My daughters and I had a great weekend. Ingrid is a 5-star host, kind, generous, responsive and her pancakes are delicious! We highly recommend!!

The lock house of Urs is a true insider tip for all those who seek peace, nature and warm hospitality. The location is fantastic: surrounded by forest and canal and with the sound of the lock in the background, you immediately feel like you have arrived and slowed down. Urs is a very friendly and helpful host. Thanks to his many tips, we were able to discover the region in a special way. In his small boutique, we were also able to get to know some regional specialties. The accommodation is ideal for switching off and recharging. At the same time, the area offers numerous excursion possibilities. We enjoyed the days very much and can recommend the lock house without reservation. Thank you, Urs – we'd love to come back!

The cottage is very atmospheric with its historic natural stone floor, natural stone staircase, ceiling beams, etc., a journey through time, yet at the same time with extremely tasteful current furniture and equipment ripe for "beautiful living". Details such as the kitchen equipment - cookware and sharp knives in good quality - prevent typical travel situations from arising in the first place. Naomi is helpful and communicative, as an English native speaker also for international audiences who have difficulty with French. Not only we, but also our two dogs felt very comfortable.

Marie-Hélène's house, next to hers, is in a rural and forest environment, far from everything, and it's charming. Perfect for hikes in Morvan. Marie-Hélène is discreet and attentive to her guests.

Everything went very well. The house is very nice: great garden and pool! Very accommodating host. We recommend it!

Nicole and Jean-Jacques were very attentive hosts who even spoiled us with a bottle of Pouilly Fumé, cherries, croissants and an aperitif to say goodbye. Despite their warm hospitality, they have always respected our privacy. The duplex has everything the vacationer wants. Kitchen, bathroom, TV, parking on the property, bicycle storage in the shed, everything great! The absolute tranquility is also worth highlighting. There is absolutely nothing to fault. Alex's place is fantastic and suited us perfectly for our trip to Beaune. Alex is very friendly, and was great at communicating with us before we arrived and while we were staying in Beaune. He gave us lots of really helpful information about places to eat, things to do etc and a wonderful welcome when we arrived. The house is very well set up with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the sunshine, being able to make our own meals in the well equipped kitchen (including a coffee machine) and having the private car park in front of the house. The location is excellent - so close to town, just outside the walls. We could easily walk everywhere - to the boulangerie, restaurants, Parc de la Bouzaise (excellent bike hire here) and the sites of Beaune. We would highly recommend staying at Alex's place :)

We stayed in the apartment for two days. It is very charming and furnished with attention to detail. You immediately feel very comfortable, the small balcony is great with a fantastic view over the rooftops of Dijon. The long one is ideal for exploring the beautiful city. Antoine is likeable and friendly, always responded quickly to messages. The apartment is highly recommended. If we were in Dijon again, we would book the apartment again immediately.

Once you arrive at the accommodation, know that there is a lot of food (spices, tea, etc.) and this is really great, especially when you think you have forgotten a few shopping items. The garden is huge, perfect also if you want to watch the stars. I recommend the place to relax!

Felt like we were on top of the world. A unique and fabulous place to stay in Beaune. Worth the effort to get up there! Comprehensive information book on all the amenities and attractions of the area is fantastic.

Large and pretty charming house in the heart of Maconnais. Perfectly equipped, the house offers large spaces to gather and beautiful rooms (quality bedding) with bathrooms. In winter, the beautiful living room and its magnificent fireplace are a charming asset. Finally, the location of the house is ideal for sightseeing in the region (Tournus, Mâcon, Cluny, the vineyards). Great restaurants within 10 km... In short, perfect for a stay even in the winter season: comfort, heating and amenities (beautiful kitchen, large TV) Pleasant communication with Laurence, To be tried without hesitation!

I had a lovely stay at this place in the middle of the forest. It's ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the calm. Accommodation is as described, clean and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The environment is nice, with beautiful outdoor spaces to relax. The hosts are welcoming and discreet, which allows you to fully enjoy the place with peace of mind. Great weekend!! First of all Philippe welcomes us in a remarkable way, with a lot of attention and information. The cottage is very well designed with a large room on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The bedding is particularly comfortable. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. In addition, in the middle of a beautiful and soothing nature, the cottage has highly appreciated assets with its swimming pool, terrace, boules and ping-pong. We didn't have good weather on the 1st day, but with the return of the sun, we took advantage of it the next 2 days. Thank you again Philippe for your extreme kindness.

Very nice house , tastefully decorated. I have already rented a lot of houses but have never had the opportunity to have a rental house so clean and so complete with everything one could need. It feels like home. I would highly recommend it and hope to return soon.
