Cabin holiday rentals in Buna River

A beautiful place located in a total remote area. Very difficult road to leave (which the owners inform in detail about) but it's worth it! A beautiful, charming place that guarantees peace and a real break from the world. We arrived at night, earlier contacting the owner that we had internet issues. At the top of the Mountain, an older gentleman (the owners' father) was waiting for us, waving a flashlight so we knew where to go. He helped us pick up things, showed us the apartment, and was extremely helpful with everything. There was a hot tub waiting for you to use :) we will always remember the two nights we spent there.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa! The property itself was beautiful—spacious, well-kept, and with absolutely stunning views. The highlight was definitely the hot tub. Sitting under the stars with a bottle of beer, looking out over the hills and seeing the lights of Ferizaj in the distance was something special. Blerandi was a brilliant host—great communication throughout and incredibly helpful, especially when it came to finding somewhere to leave our camper and making our arrival at the villa smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with top-notch hospitality.

The eight villas are in a very nice location and look the same. It is an idyllic environment where you are immediately flooded with inner and outer tranquility. Each villa has a sleeping area in the attic, a large bathroom with blind (blind has only one villa), as well as a great lounge with fireplace, with large terrace and barbecue. There is also a well-equipped kitchen that you can use if you bring your own purchases. There is a large restaurant within walking distance as well as more to visit. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. 😊

Mykola’s place was amazing. It was really cozy and a joy to wake up with the view of the mountains. The location is also great for access to the national parks. The cabin is set amongst some trees which are lit up beautifully. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.

Great friendly hosts, were there to meet us on arrival. Home was comfy with great views. We enjoyed the skiing at Popova Sapka ehich is in walking distance and would happily visit again!

The house is very cozy, and it has everything you might need. The fireplace adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s located in a very peaceful area, surrounded by tranquility, with plenty of beautiful walking trails nearby. The view is simply breathtaking. The host, Antoni, is very responsive and ready to help at any time. The nearest town and grocery store are 7 km from the house, and the cell service is excellent. If you’re looking for a place to relax, disconnect, and recharge, this is the perfect spot.

Stunning place. Only issue we had was we could not lock our front door, but it was very private and no one around. Such lovely surroundings in the mountains it was so peaceful.

Would fully recommend, such a stunning location with Tara River and beautiful mountains surrounding the cabin. Luka was exeptionally helpful, responsive, accommodating and a gracious host! :-)

This little cabin is incredible. So cute and the location with the view from the upstairs patio is superlative. Absolutely incredible. Served homemade Rajika upon arrival and perfect space for a quick night passing through Lake Skoder area on bike!

Absolutely loved staying here, the large windows of the cabin and log fire within the surrounding scenery is just perfect to explore Durmitor national park. The main bedroom bed really comfy, definitely one of the best airbnb beds we've stayed in. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessary utensils etc. We have no bad notes and would recommend staying here.

Great place! The house has everything for a comfortable set up, barbecue zone is well built. Views are outstanding and the road to the house is looked after and easy to navigate. 5/5 would recommend

We travel a lot—and this cabin in Žabljak stands out as one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Željka got all the little details right, which is surprisingly rare: we were greeted with almonds and a bottle of wine, and the kitchen was actually well stocked—not just a token coffee pod or two, but teas, spices, flour, pasta, and even great quality pans (a first!). The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and the fireplace made it incredibly cozy for winter evenings. We especially loved the glass atrium, where we could watch the snowfall and surrounding nature while staying warm by the fire. The cabin itself feels tucked away and peaceful—just a few other homes nearby, which is a big contrast to the more crowded and exposed houses closer to Žabljak town. Location-wise, it’s the best of both worlds: quiet and secluded, but only a short drive from town for hikes, groceries, and exploring the area. We actually tried to book it again in July but it's full--highly recommend!

Indeed a cozy cabin located near Zabljak. The cabin itself has everything we needed for 5 persons and the fireplace creates a relaxing vibe. The location is in perfect distance from zabljak to calm down and enjoy the quiet nature (therefore, a car is adviced). The contact with Sonja was very helpful and kind, she even offered us some of her towels, as my friends luggage got lost on our inbound flight. Thanks!

What an absolutely gem of a stay! Everything was so lovely and Jaksa was an incredible host. He was so kind and thoughtful and welcoming. The wine and cookies upon arrival was such a nice surprise. The home is perfect. So cozy with all the amenities and you can just take in all of nature and just relax. We loved the wood burning stove too. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We absolutely LOVED our stay and would book again and again! Forest rhapsody is truly a gem 🌟 🌲

The lodge is beautiful and is located in the garden of the family home very well maintained and matches the photos of the listing. Aleksandar is very responsive and offers us activities on site. I highly recommend having breakfast that is homemade by the grandfather, it's excellent! We also eat in Aleksandar's restaurant on the village bridge, very good welcome and delicious meals. Good location to keep.

The place is situated in a very picturesque and peaceful spot. The house is super cozy and fully equipped, clean and everything smelling fresh. Also much more spacious than expected. The host is extremely kind and warm hearted person. Absolutely recommended 👌

Very cute little place, the photos don't even do it justice! Also very convenient location, as only 10 minutes from Zabljak. Host was very responsive and answered all of my many questions quickly.

We were there with 2 adults and 2 children for 3 nights and are thrilled. Very clean, equipped with everything you need and well thought-out details. The children were immediately overjoyed and occupied because of the toys. This allowed the adults to arrive in peace and enjoy the local delicacies. We have easily reached all popular destinations nearby with our car. No neighbors far and wide. A rippling brook in front of the door and a great view of the countryside. I can only confirm the reviews. Full recommendation.

If you are looking to enjoy the local experience this is the perfect place, the hut were we stayed was constructed 40 years ago but as good as new, remodelled on the inside with all the updates. They also prepare breakfast on request with local products (supplementary charged) The place was peaceful, half an hour from the Black Lake. Miladin and his family are really nice and helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay, if you like nature then you must give this little Iceland a try and why not stay here? If you do, you will find a very private very comfortable and homely place with views directly onto the river, and easy walking to many different restaurants and the beach not to mention the wonderful forests The bed was comfortable and the facilities were as described !

You have a beautiful view of the lake in the morning and evening here. Many fruit trees on the property and also some animals you will see here. ( cats , sheep and chickens) You are completely private in this great cabin and should do the shopping already on arrival, as the nearest "supermarket" is a little further away. From the host we were provided some water and fresh eggs for free. We were very satisfied.
