This is an oasis. If you are looking to escape the craziness and want to be immersed in nature this is your spot. From organic veggies, the country chicken the local family prepared for us. We were so happy we found this hidden gem.

Azul's place is in incredible location in the middle of nature, with beautiful gardens that come with the house and lake view. Open plan kitchen with absolutely everything, including espresso machine & BBQ grill. The Interior is decorated perfectly to the last detail, honestly hat off. Very clean and modern bathroom with bath under the window so great view. Living room with sofas and TV with sound bars, library with lots of different books. The gardens are also very nicely kept, full of flowers and plants, also collection of herbs for cooking. Honestly felt like in high standards hotel in the middle of field. I think we were the only tourists in the area, great place for escape. I'll happily come back, Azul is a great and kind host.

Une villa absolument sublime ; apaisante, chaleureuse et grandiose. Des hôtes et un service tout à fait à la hauteur, ils nous ont permis d’organiser nos activités sur place et ont assuré la restauration. C’était juste incroyable, merci infiniment pour ce moment hors du temps !

The accommodation was wonderful! If you’re looking to spend time alone with nature, this is the perfect place for you. Beautiful views from the villa, surrounded by lush greenery🙌🏻✨ On the downside, there was no cleaning service – not even basic trash removal. We stayed for a week and had to figure out where to take the trash ourselves. But that’s the only negative. Overall, everything was great. Thank you, Wayan!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Wanahouse in Wanagiri Sukasada — the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. The villa has three cozy bedrooms, a clean bathroom, and a full kitchen. You can cook your own meals or enjoy delicious local dishes made by the friendly staff — both were great! Our kids loved the spacious garden, while we enjoyed relaxing in the gazebos. The fireplace made the evenings extra cozy. Inside, there’s karaoke with an LCD TV and strong Wi-Fi — perfect for Netflix and chill after a fun day. It’s also just a 15-minute walk to Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall, followed by a scenic 30-minute trek — a peaceful bonus adventure. Thoughtfully prepared, kid-friendly, and surrounded by nature — we’d definitely love to come back! 💚

Great place at the Oculus hotel, although we didn't catch a glimpse at the Mountain due to the weather, the room was still incredible.

Wat een fantastische plek, het uitzicht, de rust, de prachtige natuur, de supermooie design cabin.. we hebben er van genoten! Het buitenbad is ook een belevenis! En ze kwamen ‘s avonds het haardvuur aansteken buiten. Het ligt afgelegen dus veel restaurants heb je niet in de buurt, ze zijn ook vroeg gesloten, een taxi kan je beter vantevoren regelen, maar je zit ook middenin de jungle! Het was gewoon geweldig!

One of the best stays I've ever had! The authentic bamboo villa is a peaceful oasis that truly connects you with nature—surrounded by lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and the soothing sound of a natural waterfall that made falling asleep at night pure bliss. I originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying a third because I just couldn't leave. Waking up to ocean views and spotting dolphin boats in the distance was a dream, especially since the amazing on-site team organised an early morning dolphin adventure for me where I even got to swim alongside them—unreal! Just a short 10-minute scooter ride away is a natural waterslide, a must-visit spot that added a fun twist to my stay. Relaxing in the hammock was amazing — I even fell asleep under the stars. With the team catering to my every need and arranging thoughtful local tours, the whole experience felt effortless and magical. Highly recommend!!

Great view, better in person than in the pictures. The area is extremely quiet, great for if you want pure tranquility but can be a hassle if you are wanting to do things. The property itself is nice it is exactly like the pictures, I had a furry guest the entire visit which was nice. The lads keeping things moving at the properly do a great job, more than excellent they are probably the reason I gave the property 5 stars instead of 4. Happy with the place, would recommend stockpiling any food you need too as shops round there are limited which is understandable and if you are there for the volcano hike/drive make sure you organise getting to the main road and transport there as I found out the hard way. This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

Ubytování bylo překrásné! Překrásný výhled, poklidné prostředí, ideální před výstupem a po výstupu na sopku Batur. Hostitel také nabízí průvodce na východ slunce na sopce Batur. Personál je milý, nabízí také snídani! Děkujeme, určitě tu nejsme naposledy!

Beautiful location on the side of the hill looking out over the lake. Beds were comfortable and set up well for our needs of 4 people. There are two bathrooms… but only one on the main floor with the bedrooms. The 2nd bathroom is under the main and requires a walk outside and down the stairs. But it does have giant tub and plenty of hot water to fill it. Well used after a day of waterfall hikes. Vita was amazing. Quick to respond and provide all our requests. It does seem a bit overpriced for the area and villa size but all a matter of perspective I guess. We truly enjoyed our stay, as well as the breakfast we ordered. Would recommend to others without hesitation.

Tolle Unterkunft und sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die uns bei der Suche nach einem Fahrer sehr geholfen hat. Wir haben die Ruhe in der Hütte, die sich direkt am See befindet und unweit vom Mount Batur liegt, sehr genossen. Es ist allerdings schwierig ohne ein eigenes Gefährt zu Restaurants oder Cafés zu kommen, da so gut wie kein Grab oder Gojek in der Gegend unterwegs ist.
