Very quiet holiday home in beautiful surroundings. From our Berkelhut you can walk straight into the woods of Velhorst. The house is heated with infrared panels, has a large double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters that can be closed off. You may use 2 bicycles and a Canadian kayak; the Berkel river is in walking distance of your accommodation. In addition to the picturesque village of Almen, Zutphen, Lochem and Deventer are also close by. After consulting us, you can bring your small dog with you.

A Gorgeous Place

Apartment “ a lovely spot” has a wood stove as the main heater. So in case of cold, it has to be fired. Breakfast in the morning sun. The fridge is richly stocked for breakfast, the sandwiches are served in the morning at the desired time. You will sleep on the upper floor, which can be reached via a narrow! spiral staircase. Perfect location for walks and bike rides through forests and nature reserves. Or visit the beautiful Hanseatic cities. Good restaurant, close and in the village.

Super house located in the center of Zutphen

The luxurious and stylish stay is located on the Berkel in the historic Hanseatic city of Zutphen. It is a wonderful base to explore Zutphen and its surroundings all year round. It is only a few minutes walk into the city. Zutphen is a beautiful city with many historic buildings with nice shops, museums and many restaurants. There are several hiking/biking routes. So you can explore the IJssel/ Berkel area, the woods or Veluwe. From the backyard you can hop on a sup or in a canoe.

Since July 2020 our guesthouse has been open for bookings: A renovated old stable, located on the grounds of our farm from 1804, located on 4.5 hectares of grassland. Ideal for 1-4 people, a 5th guest is welcome. 2 double beds + 1 stretcher. On request: 1 cot and 1 travel cot. It is completely independent. The stable has been renovated while retaining original materials, trendy interior and an amazing view over our garden. * Our garden can also be booked as a shooting location

A unique overnight stay in a studio above the former pigsty. Farmhouse studio Lovenem is located on the first floor of the former pigsty and is therefore also briefly called "the pigsty". This old barn has its own entrance. The guesthouse consists of one large room where you can recreate, sleep and work. Farmhouse studio Lovenem is at the edge of the village of Leuvenheim, directly at the cycling and hiking trails of the Veluwe.
