The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

The most amazing weekend in the most beautiful house! We loved every second of our weekend. So much to do including the swimming pool, games room, tennis courts and lovely walks. Spotlessly clean throughout. We can't recommend this house enough. Stunning property. Anne was so lovely and let us arrive a little earlier to put food in the fridge on a very hot day. She also extended our checkout time which gave us extra time in the lovely grounds. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you Anne. Wonderful weekend.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Lauren was a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble. My request for a birthday cake for one of our party was met with "I can arrange that for you and would you like candles and balloon decorations too." I got the brownie points but Lauren did all the work. The accommodation was beautiful on arrival and it bought on some very happy birthday tears. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard throughout, and it comes with a nice little private garden. The site is wonderful and has everything you could need, from a good breakfast to some lovely walks around fishing lakes. My girls had a wonderful long weekend at Laurens accommodation and,although not home yet, are already planning a return trip. Thanks again Lauren... 5*.

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We had a fantastic stay at Ingleby Retreat! The property was clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — exactly as described. The surroundings were stunning and the facilities (especially the pool and kitchen) were perfect for a relaxing getaway. Amber was a wonderful host — very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the smooth check-in process. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we’d definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Lovely home, felt very comfortable there- we had 4 children between 4 adults, and it felt like a lived in house- therefore we were not panicked about the children just being children!! The pool was a lovely temperature and our children enjoyed it thoroughly. House nice and warm, kitchen and lounge area which overlooks the swimming pool were a real hub of the home- a very nice space. All in all a great find for when we need to be in Hertfordshire! We would stay again.

From start to finish, this beautiful property exceeded every expectation. Phoebe was incredibly responsive, helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could need - from quality linens and toiletries to a well-equipped modern kitchen. The location was ideal - peaceful yet convenient to local attractions. Every detail showed a commitment to comfort and hospitality. It truly felt like a home away from home, but with the service and polish of a five-star hotel in the most stunning location and surroundings. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a cut above the usual. We would absolutely return without any hesitation. went for a friends wedding so wanted to stay near by the venue - arrived late and easy to access, all was as described and very clean. slept like babies - very comfy and nice bed! thank you!

Jane and her husband what lovely, attentive and responsive hosts who made us feel welcome and at home for the weekend. The property is beautifully decorated and felt so cosy, there is ample parking, and - there's chickens! We even received some homegrown eggs as a leaving gift. Highly recommend!

We loved the Old Rope Works The house was ideal - two good sized bed rooms and lot of options on the beds eg singles/double/king etc Very private a a few mins away from the shops in the village and some excellent restaurants - if we are ever back in the area we would certainly book again Txs Sue Alan

Absolutely beautiful stay at the lodge! The place was immaculately clean and tidy upon arrival with plenty of toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Debs is a great host, very friendly and answers quickly. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great place close to the National Bowl where we sent our day. It was quiet in the evening and comfortable. Esther gave very clear instructions.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience, everything worked smoothly, and there were no issues at all. The space was immaculate and welcoming, just as described, and we loved how comfortable and thoughtfully prepared everything was. Communication with the host was great, with quick responses and clear instructions. You can even message the lovely owner personally who accommodated a late check out for us. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, close to key tring (5 min drive) yet delightfully peaceful for a relaxing getaway. From the cleanliness to the seamless check-in, every detail was spot on. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect, hassle-free stay in Hastoe. We’d love to come back!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Ashley for accommodating me and my dog for a week due to work commitments . Great central location, really clean, pristine house, super well equipped house from kitchen (stocked spice cabinet) to washing machine (laundry, iron and cleaning supplies). Really felt like a home away from home, and the snacks along with doggy bags left out were a great personal touch. Thank you once again and already will be looking to book back in next time!

Beautiful place to stay , very peaceful lots to do if you want to fill your day or just peaceful if you want to sit back and relax from everyday life . Melissa is a very friendly host the extra’s like treats for your dog and lovely home made chocolate brownies absolutely wonderful as well as everyday essentials like milk , bottled water , bathroom essentials like shampoo all included . This being why Melissa is a super host . This was a fantastic find and a great place to stay . Thank you .

OMG, I don’t have the adjectives to describe this trip! I booked it for myself, my husband and our dog & it was pure perfection. Lesley was helpful as anything, gave a list of local recommendations and the easiest check in/out instructions. It was clean, fresh bedding and location was PERFECT for where we needed (within a half hour drive of all the tourist spots we wanted to visit). Lesley let us bring our dog, left a card for us and a towel/bag of treats for the dog just in case he wanted a swim in the canal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We were really glad to find a place like this for our stay. Great location, very close to the Airport. Marlon was friendly and made sure the house was clean and tidy for our arrival.

Lauren's place is small but beautiful. Yes, the stairs are steep, but actually found them to be ok. Kitchen was great and exactly what we needed, everything was available - it was nice to see tea, coffee and milk - always appreciated. Very comfortable bed. Really liked the bathroom and all the little touches such as shampoo and conditioner - which I was grateful for. Certainly thinking of booking again in the near future.

I was going to a festival at the MC Bowl and this is the perfect location being a 10 minute walk. Vicky is a fantastic host, communication was first class and she couldn’t have been more helpful. I had all I needed,bed, small kitchen and private bathroom. If I’m back up that way again I would happily stay again.
