“First Airbnb. We didn't know what to expect and we were very surprised! The room is like a hotel room, with amenities (towels, shower gel / toothbrush, tea making facilities, London / metro map, and even an adapter ...). Clean room, with lots of storage available. The house is located 5 minutes from a bus that takes you to St Mary Cray (or 20 minutes on foot for the bravest), and from there a direct line to go to Victoria Station. Andy is very responsive and especially helped us when it was 11:30 pm (thanks again). I recommend, especially considering the price!”
Our household is friendly and relaxed, with 2 cats. We are 15 mins walk - some steep uphill! - from Greenwich and Cutty Sark stations. Our small house is at the end of a long rough path leading off Point Hill. Museums, pubs, shops, cafes, a cinema and Greenwich Market are 10 mins walk away. Travel time from Gatwick Airport, London City Airport and St Pancras International is about 1 hour. Heathrow, Stansted and Luton airports are under 2 hours away. The City of London is 20 minutes by train.
“It’s such a lovely place to enjoy your time when going to London and I highly recommend to everyone seeking for a great accommodation. Located on a little uphill road in Greenwich, it requires a little walk to the house but that’s not a big problem at all. The house’s interior is beautifully designed with nice little touches, combined with green and fresh air outside. The hosts are super nice and were always there to help me, with tons of local tips and recommendations (also some late night chats as well!), even I was late for checking in due to delayed flight they still welcomed me without being annoyed. Breakfast services are always good additions for me during a trip, and this time it’s no difference, with typical English breakfast provided I really enjoyed. Any basic things such as heatings and hot water are on point as well. It’s sad that I only have time to spent two nights there, the hosts are just so sweet that it seems like we are old friends, meeting each other for years already. They truly make me feel just like at home, which always is something you can rarely found when you are on a solo trip, away from home, approximately 9615.80 km away.”
Newly refurbished annex forming part of a country house set in three acres of garden, pond and paddocks. Located in a rural setting just off the North Downs Way, 2 miles from historic Westerham and Biggin Hill. Darwin's home, Downe House, Churchill’s home, Chartwell, Emmett's Garden, Quebec House and Titsey Estate each within four miles.
“I used the space as to get out of the city to do some introspection and make some plans and it was perfect for that. There is an Indian at the bottom of the road that does great food and you are surrounded by a lot of green that there are good trails for running and walking.”
