Strmasce- a perferct summer stay for nature lovers

A place in Bohinjska Češnjica, North–West of Slovenia, Bohinj region, 4 km from Bohinjsko jezero and 20 km from Bled in the heart of Alps. There is a summer kitchen, a clay stove, a hammock, a fireplace and a big meadow. Compost toilet , outside bathroom- no hot water. Sleeping is arranged in a traditional Bohinj's hayloft (for up to eight people). It is best to have your sleeping bags, fresh bedding we charge 5 € per person. Welcome cyclists - the place is next to the cycling road.

Our house is located in the village Kamnje in Bohinj, which is only 3 km away from Bohinj Lake and 16 km from Lake Bled. The location of the house is excellent for short walks or long hiking trails to the mountains. It is a fully equipped apartment with a quiet garden and secure street parking, good for couples, solo adventurers, families with 1 child or those looking for relaxation, peace and immersion into nature. Welcome to our paradise. Tourist tax is not included in the price.

Double Room with bathroom, Farm stay in Bohinj

Homestead Log v Bohinju is located approximately halfway between Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj on the right side of the Sava Bohinjka river. It is a large old farm building consisting of a living area, a stable, a barn, a dairy and other auxiliary rooms. The living part of the building was completely renovated and adapted for tourist purposes. All units are furnished in a modern style with new furniture and renovated bathrooms. We are no longer actively engaged in agriculture.

The place was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. convenient location from Bled and Triglav park. Parking was not at an issue at all. Ample markets and shops nearby as well as restaurants. The place had an efficient small kitchen which we were able to store and cook as well.

This spot was simple and exactly what we needed. Easy access to Lake Bohinj and Triglav. Plenty of food options close by. A peaceful distance from Bled. Super clean and quiet. The master is lofted and up a ladder, which my teenager loved. The other bedroom has a door and was fine for my husband and I.

Felt better than at home! You will never find a better host than Samo and Brigita. As soon as we arrived, Samo offered us a glass of wine at his gazebo while explaining us what to do around the location. This with the cute lazy cats next to us and all the flower well kept all around us. We could not hope for a better place to stay, they really enjoyed having people to take care of. Thank you for being more very helpful and so, SO nice. See you soon 😊

Minden rendben volt, kellemes, barátságos környezet, nagyon szép kert, s a falu is nagyon aranyos. A szoba olyan volt, mint a leírásban. Közel van Bohinji-tó, és Bled is. Ajánlom szívesen bárkinek. Tetszett, hogy a bejutás önálló volt, nem voltam így időhöz kötve, minden pontosan le volt írva.

a nice & quiet place to stay, with a big balcony and a comfy bed! it is a bit hard to shower, like others said, but it's also ok to knee down. (i imagine it's harder for tall people.) close to the house is a good restaurant, the place is small but neat and there is everything you need. we appreciated, that there were a lot of windows to let in natural light and window blinds to darken for the night. and we were glad that there is a very well functioning heating system! system. :) thank you!

A beautiful home by the river with a charming outdoor play area for kids. There’s a slide, swings, and even a rope swing—perfect for children to enjoy while you relax on the porch listening to the sound of the river. The hosts thoughtfully left fresh flowers in the house, which brought us joy throughout our stay. We truly felt cared for in every corner of the home—from the chocolate eggs in the kitchen to the basket in the bathroom filled with anything you might need. Thank you, Luka and Kristi. We had such a lovely time!
