The property is beautifully located, clean and well maintained. It’s very close to the Avenue of Giants. Elaina was very easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Holistic Haven An Organic Luxury & Spa Experience

KelsieRating, 5 starstoday
What a unique spot! We stayed here while visiting the redwoods and loved every second. Truly peaceful and beautiful scenery - my husband and I were very relaxed after a day of hiking. The soaking tubs are a must and black sand beach is also close by with an adorable cafe we loved to get coffee at. If you’re looking to go off the grid and enjoy the redwoods, this place is it.

Honeydew Creek Cabin

AanchalRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Maureen’s place. Maureen was incredibly welcoming! She seemed genuinely happy to have us there and excited to share her farm with us. She is an Airbnb host who truly enjoys the hosting for more than just the financial reasons. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home, which we did. The area itself is very remote. I suggest using an AWD vehicle to get there. We spent two nights there and went back and forth to the avenue of the giants and it was about an hour’s drive to get there and the roads aren’t great in that area. Maureen’s farm is rustic and beautiful. The creek at the property is beautiful. The horses were fun to pet as well as some of the other animals. It’s so quiet and peaceful and feels like you’ve stepped back in time. The night sky and stars were a beautiful sight to behold. The apartment we stayed at was comfortable and cozy. Overall, highly recommend staying here! We would definitely love to visit again.

Peaceful home near the Redwoods

JoeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Outstanding Airbnb, by far the best I've stayed in to date. I have an extremely stressful job and when looking for a vacation, I want peace and quiet and we got it in this great home. Jump in the truck and you're at the ocean in a half hour! The owner was extremely friendly and was there cleaning the place as we arrived early. Since we were early, I wanted to go check out some old growth redwoods which are right down the street. All the amenities listed were provided and the area is super quiet, exactly what I wanted. Seriously great stay and I can assure you, we'll be going back in the future. Thanks for allowing us into your great home Colt and Shasta! And thank for for the fresh eggs! That's right, farm fresh and outstanding!

Geodesic Dome Retreat on 1 acre *No Fees*

ChristianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at the Dome in Fortuna, a very unique and charming space! The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, making it easy to cook meals, and the updated appliances were a nice touch. The location was ideal, close to all the main area attractions. We went to Oysterfest in Arcata, the Sequoia Zoo in Eureka, charming Ferndale, and the Avenue of the Giants. Peaceful and relaxing! The backyard was a highlight, as it is beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating next to a tranquil pond. The weather was perfect! Also, those sundown views from the deck are magical! Inside, the heater kept the whole house cozy, and there were tons of games to keep the kids entertained. We enjoyed playing with the cornhole set outside and stargazing at night. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up, with clear binder instructions that made check-in and the stay itself a breeze. We highly recommend staying with Shane and Misty and would love to return to the area again. Cheers!

The House truck on river farm

SukiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kirsten and community were both welcoming and supportive of spaciousness, allowing real rest and ready conversation as you like it. The summer kitchen is a delightful hub and the bath garden is an immersive getaway. The tiny home is not just whimsical but historic, and you can learn a ton about the the home build movement from the cabin book shelf, within plucking distance from the front porch cantilevered over the truck cab. Only a few perplexed looks from the llamas as I chillaxed up there. Bring your scissors for minus tide seaweed harvesting at Mattole Beach (or sleep through it like I did in the not tiny at all sleeping loft), a comfy towel for the river hang, and a notebook if you, like me, are unable to remember all the names of the animals large, small, flocked and shorn, at this laid-back farm.

The Lost Butte Treehouse Cabin Sanctuary

RosaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A peaceful, adventurous retreat in the trees! This cozy treehouse was the perfect off-the-grid escape—rustic yet thoughtfully appointed, with stunning mountain views and total tranquility. The drive in was thrilling (definitely 4WD territory) and set the tone for a stay that felt far from ordinary. The space was just right for me and two teens, with comfy beds, quality linens, a sweet little kitchen, and an incredible deck to take in the scenery. The outdoor shower was a fun touch, and the nearby toilet was easy to access. Best of all, the hosts were super responsive and gave clear directions that made finding this hidden gem a breeze. Can’t wait to return for a longer unplugged stay.
