Holiday rentals in Brezoi

We stayed in Freya House for 2 weeks when we were on holiday in Romania with our two older kids. It is a very nice, well maintained house with a very nice outdoor area. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Location is between the amazing Fagaras mountain and a small town. 10 min drive to a Lidl and a daily market where you can shop for local produce. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. Sibiu at 40 min drive has a wide variety of supermarkets with a bigger range. Our host had set up a pool in the garden. That was a nice extra since we hadn't seen it in the description. Situated where it is, Freya House has everything. The nature at your doorstep and plenty of  cultural options to explore at only a daytrip away (2 hrs drive). To have a car available is a necessity. We can very much recommend our wonderful hosts. Available, easygoing and friendly with instructions, advice, hiking routes, information on shops, markets, even home grown food!

We had a great experience at this location. The bed was very comfortable, and the quietness in the area contributed tremendously to the relaxation. The atmosphere is a pleasant one and the house is well maintained, perfect for a quiet getaway. The location was truly wonderful! The house was very cute, tastefully decorated and well maintained, which created an extremely welcoming atmosphere. It was equipped with everything we could have wanted, and the attention to detail made a difference. I slept better than at home because the bed was mega comfortable, the utter serenity and the overall ambiance made the stay a perfect experience. We highly recommend! My family and I had a great stay at Sorin’s place, it was so peaceful and cosy! We really enjoyed exploring the area - Sibiu and Lake Bacău especially - and then coming back to relax. Highly recommended!

We rented the entire house for three nights to celebrate New Year’s 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our host, Mr. Emil, was exceptional. He stayed on-site throughout our stay and was incredibly helpful. On our first day, he welcomed us with traditional treats like sarmale, salată de boeuf, țuică, and vișinată. He assisted with setting up the fire, cleaned up after us daily, and ensured we had everything we needed. Despite being present throughout our stay, he respected our privacy and allowed us complete freedom to enjoy ourselves without any interference. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was an unforgettable trip, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

We spent three wonderful days in this mountain vacation home and everything was absolutely perfect! The location is fairytale – quiet, fresh air and a gorgeous view over the mountains. The house is very well maintained, very spacious, clean and very tastefully arranged so you immediately feel at home. The hosts were extremely kind and provided us with all the necessary information for a relaxing stay. We loved the spacious terrace, ideal for morning coffee or quiet evenings in the open air. Also the fully equipped kitchen is a plus and the rooms are comfortable. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature in the best conditions. We will definitely come back!

A beautiful location, just like in the presentation photos, and the host is very professional and friendly.

Daniela’s place is amazing, and she is also a great host, going above and beyond to make her customers happy. We stayed in an A-frame house over thw weekend and we had a wonderful time. The house is clean and well maintained, with spotless bed linings and towels. Also, if needed, you can access all the ameneties in the shared kitchen, where you can have a very good coffee as well. The entire place is wonderful as the houses are having in the middle a large green area where you can spend some time relaxing in the sun, and having a bath in the pool. You can also walk to “Casa Intoarsa” that is part of Brambura park, and the entire area is looking great, being sourrounded by trees and mountains. And of course by the car you can attend different other great places, including “Balea Lake”. The entire area has some good Wifi coverage, and a parking lot, pretty large, inside, so your car will be protected by traffic and other damages. All in all we spend a wonderful weekend! Thx Daniela.
