Cottage holiday rentals in Brecon Beacons

If you're considering booking this property, then do it! We have had the best week staying here and I cannot rate it highly enough. The host was great at communicating before the trip and whilst we were there. Whenever we had a question, nothing was too much trouble. She contacted us to let us know we could check in a little bit earlier as the property was ready, and this was much appreciated. One of the biggest things we look for in an airbnb is cleanliness, and I have to say, the property was spotless. The kitchen had all the amenities you could want, and the house had lovely little touches for our toddler; toys, highchair, stair gate and bed guard. Whilst the weather wasn't great, there was a lovely sized garden, and our toddler was able to visit the horses behind the garden and feed them carrots. Everything was a very short drive away, and location was great. We enjoyed a dinner in the pub garden of the Ancient Briton. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Lovely stay, stunning gardens - would have been good to know there are other holiday lets immediately next to the property the listing does give the impression it’s totally isolated but thankfully there were no guests in the other houses while we were there.

We had a lovely stay at the Laundry Barn, the views were amazing, the place was very cosy and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Would definitely recommend staying here, and we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and tidy and Clare went above and beyond with complimentary cake and fizz on arrival. Clare was very responsive when we had questions about the area. The house felt like a home, and it was great to be able to make the most of the spa pool after a day out. We would definitely book again.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. Peaceful and beautiful rural setting … no out door space to sit. Great to have the use of a hot tub with a lovely view … overall a lovely place to stay

My friend and I had a lovely, tranquil stay with our border terrier. The garden is enclosed and wonderful. The view is stunning and the house is cosy and welcomingly rustic. Great walks in the surrounding hills and by the river Towy. Llandovery is the only close by small town with all that you could need. I look forward to coming out there again.

Very quirky accommodation on the edge of Glynneath. Cosy, warm, well equipped and welcoming. Easy to find, and very easy to gain access to the Four Waterfalls trail

What an amazing cottage! It has such a calm peaceful feel to it,probably helped by the surrounding hills,pretty much on the doorstep,and the abundance of very warm & friendly locals! I'm also pretty certain the bed is magic as I haven't slept that well for ages! John was so helpful with all necessary details. He has left very useful instructions for local walks etc in the cottage,along with lots of historic information about the area,all extremely interesting. We absolutely loved staying here,and hope to return. A very special place.

What a lovely house. Beautifully decorated and all in lovely condition. Walkable to several waterfall trails and a choice of 3 pubs/restaurants. Perfect. Lovely hosts too.

Beautiful location, lovely spacious cottage and great walking. So nice to see chickens and geese and horses. Very comfortable for our family of six and very well stocked kitchen, complete with fresh eggs. Definitely recommend, I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you!

This place was incredible! Beautiful walks right outside the door, lots to do in the area and the house felt so homely! The sunsets were incredible from the garden and we definitely would stay again

The perfect little hideaway for a few days. If it’s character you’re looking for you can’t go wrong with Covey Cottage! Perfectly peaceful and secluded and lovely, friendly hosts. I’d definitely recommend.

Loved the remoteness of the location, the garden was totally enclosed for the dogs which is important having a small dog. Very comfortable, little touches like face cleaning towels and dog towels were great. Loved watching the birds feed from the table and Maria left extra bird food which was needed. The forest attached was nice to negotiate through, although it does need a sturdy foot which wasn’t a problem for us. The outer garden was nicely strummed to create walkways. Having a dog that doesn’t do well with strangers and neighbouring dogs it was perfect as we were not disturbed at all. The Wi-Fi was super fast. We had a lovely relaxing break thank you!

Great location, geared up for MTB'ers going to Bike Park Wales. Brilliant layout for a group of cyclists. Clean throughout, Well presented property with added extras targeted at the mountain biking community. Definitely recommend, Would revisit :)

We truly enjoyed our time in Sian‘s cozy place. After we parked near the church and were walking to the cottage, we ran into a neighbor who asked if we needed assistance and she kindly walked us to the door. She also told us to check out the local pub. It was great to be in such a quiet, private town, but still close enough to walk on the path to Crickhowell for dinner (We ate at the Dragon’s Inn for dinner Saturday using reservations, and Chinese takeaway Sunday since most places were closed. We used this location as a base for exploring the area and hiking in Brecon Beacon. I would recommend it to anyone and was charmed by the walk through the sheep into town- walking path says closed, but locals said it’s safe to use.

Lovely cottage in the Welsh countryside! Soooo cosy, clean and everything you need to feel at home. Perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful Welsh landscape! Communication with Emma and her husband has always been easy and helpful!

Do not hesitate to book this place if you’re staying in Hay. Beautiful little cottage, great location close to the river walk and the village, not far from the bus stop. Two bedrooms upstairs with comfy beds, great shower/tub, wood-burning stove downstairs, well appointed kitchen with everything you need, lovely garden out back with chairs to sit in the sun and listen to the birds. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely quiet relaxing stay surrounded by beautiful nature. The barn is beautiful inside and out with everything you could possibly need/want. Annette was incredibly welcoming and helpful and it was lovely to meet her beautiful kitty and very sweet farm animals. I would recommend this place to family and friends as I know they would love it. Thankyou and hopefully see you again soon.

Loved staying at Arch Cottage. Easy to get to and a great base for exploring the area. Despite being on the main road, you barely notice it once you’re inside. Sue was a great host. Will definitely stay again!
