We stayed here for a weekend, and went to Holiday World. The house was as described, and had everything needed for our stay. We walked to a little park right down the road which was overlooking the river. There were a couple of small stores that had necessities, some hot food choices, breakfast, and gas within a mile from the house. The house has a lot of space and the setting overlooking the river was very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.

I spent Christmas at Benita’s place with 8 family members coming from 3 directions. It was clean, spacious, and a lovely property to explore. We enjoyed spending time together in the living room. The hosts even decorated for the holiday which was a lovely added perk. Benita was easy to communicate with and was understanding/accommodating with some changes we had due to icy/snowy weather. Great place! Great Hosts!

My daughter and her family stayed with us and there was plenty to do in the area. Kids swam in the river below the house and we also went about 5 minutes away and rented a pontoon boat and spent the day on Rough Lake.

Hidden gem set on a beautiful lake with a little boat to run about and great fishing! Cabin was very clean and actually offered "good" toilet paper unlike most places you rent. The host and her family were great with communication. Definitely will rent again...hopefully sooner than later!

It was perfect for our need to sleep, shower and rest in a cool, clean, dry log cabin. This was our first stay at an Air B&B and I hope future locations meet the same expectations.

Cabin was exactly as described. Patti was responsive and resolved our internet issue quickly. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Great hiking trail and the opportunity to fish was great.

We had a great experience staying here! Hosts were proactive and responsive, the house was clean and well stocked, and being able to walk to the lake was ideal. The decks and outdoor space were the real winners for our group but had plenty of space inside during rain for meals, games and the game room.

A little piece of heaven! Mountain Laurel Lake is my favorite place to relax, unplug and reset. The rain makes it cozy and sunshine allows you to enjoy the sounds and scenery of nature. Absolutely beautiful!

Absolutely amazing hidden gem only 1.5 hour away from Louisville! The lake is well stocked (caught lots of bass), the views were beautiful, the beds comfortable and the cabin was so cozy! Easily cooked and grilled hamburgers, steaks and all the sides. Loved the stay and will definitely be back again!

It was perfect! Needed to get away and just soak up nature for a few days to relax and reset. This was perfect! Beautiful views. Calm and peaceful surroundings! Exactly what I was looking for.

The stay was great! Went for a weekend getaway, and it was the perfect, cozy, & relaxing home we needed. If I am ever back in the area, I will choose to stay here again! Sarah was super proactive and responsive with messages! The listing was spectacular to begin with, but I was blown away when we walked in with what all the space included. A binder had ideas of how to spend time in the area which was much appreciated, too. Overall, I was incredibly impressed by this airbnb. Definitely my favorite place I’ve stayed :)

Marissa was so responsive… and we were placed in the middle of Bluegrass country was simply amazing! I spent two days at Mammoth Caves National Park, and one day at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, jamming with other musicians, and one day at the Bill Monroe museum and homeplace in Rosine, Kentucky… It was an amazing! adventure!

We enjoyed our stay, having everything we needed. Our youngest loved the loft and we enjoyed the porch swings while watching nature.
