Stone Walls is a spacious and comfortable house with most of the amenities covered for a warm and dry stay in Derby. The host was super friendly, responsive and helpful to our questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

If you are looking for an amazing family retreat on the Eastern Coast then book this house now (if you can!). We cannot recommend it highly enough. We had brilliant communication and advice from Sally prior to arrival with lots of invaluable tips on making our stay better. The house is beautifully designed and immensely comfortable. I have never come across a better equipped kitchen in a B&B before. This is very clearly a family home and lots of love has gone into making it comfortable. Outside is truly special, with the most incredible ocean-front setting. The house is surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides, giving a constant backdrop of waves crashing on the shore. The ocean constantly changes colour mesmerically throughout the day, and is particularly spectacular at sunrise in front the house. The wildlife is amazing; wallabies, possums, eagles, swallows, plovers and cicadas. So much to see and do in the neighbourhood to fill your days - a week is not enough. Book it if you can!!

A great place to stay, spacious & has everything you need. Right across from the water with ocean views and a very quick & easy walk to the beach & shops. Ample parking, easy check in, comfortable beds & the spa was a lovely way to relax at the end of a full day exploring. Loved Bicheno, it’s a quiet but beautiful little coastal town, would definitely visit and stay longer next time!

One of the best BnB places we have stayed, everything you could want and more.

Wonderful accommodation. 3 of us spent 2 nights in the Havingago lodge for the Devils Cardigan. It was a wonderful place to stay. Situated on the fringe of Derby, but only a 10 minute walk to all the local food establishments. The lodge is relatively new with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, with an open plan kitchen, living room. The lounge sitting area was comfy, with a large screen tv. Heating consists of a heat pump and wood heater, which provided exceptional heating for our cold nights. The beds were very comfortable. The lodge itself it has been tastefully decorated with a full stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Included in the accommodation is a separate bike storage cabin. This cabin has storage racks for the bikes, a workshop with tools, laundry, drying rack and a separate shower. In addition to this there is BBQ on the front deck and a wood fired hot tub. The hot tub is great, but it does take a long time to heat up. So plan ahead if you want to enjoy tub. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! Everything worked well and felt quality which was lovely made us feel at home. The spa and the view of the stars at night was magical and our kids adored the sheep nextdoor. We hope to come back one day!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Whale Song, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hosts have truly thought of everything to make your stay extra special. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated with unique touches that made the place feel like a cozy home away from home. I particularly loved the full pantry stocked with essentials and snacks, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy my time without worrying about running out for supplies. Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, was carefully curated to enhance the experience. The location was also perfect for exploring the area. I can't recommend Whale Song enough for anyone looking for a memorable getaway. I can't wait to return!
