Family-friendly holiday rentals in Brantôme en Périgord

Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

Super séjour ! Les hôtes sont très sympas et accueillants. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien équipé, exactement comme décrit. Très bien situé, avec plusieurs villes sympas à proximité pour les visites.

Wij hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf bij Dominique. De omgeving is prachtig, rustig en charmant. De gîte heeft een authentieke stijl, was zeer goed onderhouden en erg goed voorzien. Ons dochtertje (1,5 jaar) was een grote fan van de geitjes en schaapjes op het domein. Supermarkten, stadjes, marktjes, wandelingen,… alles is zeer dichtbij. Absoluut een aanrader!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec des instructions claires et toutes les informations sur les activités à faire dans la région qui est magnifique. Notre séjour a été super, le logement est très joli et fonctionnel avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Nous avions même ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus avec une superbe vue. Une adresse à retenir !

wij verbleven een week in april met zijn drietjes. we waren de enige gasten maar hebben een heerlijk rustige week gehad. huis was prachtig, modern, robuust met alles erop en eraan.

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Florelie. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique, calme et reposant. Relaxation totale. Merci à Simon pour son accueil ainsi que a beau et Belle ;) Je recommande et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Merci pour ce charmant cottage, nous y avons passé de très bons moments en famille. Le jardin est superbe, arboré, calme et agréable. La fraicheur de la maison est très agréable en été. Tout est conforme à la description, avec en bonus des bacs de jouets pour les enfants !! :)

Très belle maison au calme avec deux grandes chambres. Il manquait quelques produits de base dans la cuisine (huile, sel, sucre ...). A noter que ce logement se situe dans un environnement agricole (maraicher), possibilité de présence de tracteurs.

Une seule nuit passée chez Martine et Jean-Michel, mais je reviendrai avec plaisir si possible. L’aménagement de la maison est charmant et authentique.

WE de mariage au Château de Brie (si vous faites du tourisme dans la région , ce beau domaine se visite) nous avons apprécié nos quelques heures de repos dans la très paisible petite maison de Jeannette. Nous n'avons pas pû nous rencontrer mais nous avons eu de très bons échanges avec Jeannette pour préparer notre arrivée.

Nous étions 7 adultes et des animaux. En premier je remercie Agnès d'accepter plusieurs animaux c'est très rare. Tout le monde a été ravi de cette maison, propre, bien chauffé (décembre), les pièces étaient grandes, décoration simple et décontractante. La cuisine est complètement équipée, avec un petit stock de pâtes et café pour dépanner si on doit rester plusieurs jours et devoir faire des courses. Salon spacieux. Seul petit bémol : les toilettes du couloir ne ferment pas à clé et l'abattant des WC bougeait c'était pas très pratique. Si j'avais l'occasion de retourner dans la région je reprendrai cette maison en location gîte avec plaisir.

Une parenthèse enchantée à la cabane au bord de l'étang ! Nous avons passé de superbes moments proches de la nature. Un accueil chaleureux de la part de Sara, avec un pain au levain excellent. L'accès est simple et rapide à ce cocon de verdure. La cabane est douce et pleine de charme. Nous avons pu l'apprécier sous le soleil, mais aussi se blottir dedans pendant une soirée orageuse, c'était formidable et si cosy, la cabane est très bien isolée ; mais au besoin, le poêle était déjà prêt pour chauffer cet endroit douillet (nous n'en avons pas eu besoin.). Nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous. Il y a de nombreux coins et recoins pour profiter de ce havre de paix, observer la nature et adopter un mode de vie tout en tranquillité. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu et sa charmante hôtesse. Merci d'avoir créé cet endroit.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

Nous avons passés deux nuits dans le grand gîte bien équipé pour 8 personnes. Accueil convivial et literie confortable. Le site est juste incroyable : rivière, cascade, arbres magnifiques…. Et en plus une piscine. Merci pour ce week-end au vert ressourçant.

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

We had a wonderful stay at Château de Monciaux. We were 12 adults, 5 infants and 3 children and there was plenty of space for all of us. They were even able to accommodate our request for 5 high chairs and 5 cots, which came in very handy. Agnès was incredibly helpful during our stay and responded quickly to our enquiries, even dropping by in person one day to help sort something out. I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end entre amis dans la maison de Nicky. C'est une maison spacieuse, très propre, bien équipée dans un environnement paisible avec un extérieur très agréable. Nicky est à l'écoute de nos demandes et Jacqueline très accueillante. Merci à elles.

We went as 3 families, 2 with young children. The Villa was perfect, pool was great and the aircon was a blessing on the few extremely hot days we had! It was very easy to walk into town with a variety of restaurants and shops, supermarkets very close by and a Lidl in walking distance. The villa is far enough away though that there is no traffic etc noise, very peaceful surroundings. Emmanuelle was very responsive to messages and always easy to get hold of, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An absolutely wonderful stay at L’Atelier. Perfect accommodation with everything one would need for a relaxing and restorative holiday. Swimming pool and air con were the icing on the cake! Lovely products and excellent cooking facilities, even a barbecue! Nicki and David were extremely helpful hosts offering suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. This accommodation is situated in a quieter area of the Dordogne near the Dronne. Feel totally relaxed now and ready for the mania of the SE of U.K. - well almost ready 😂😂
