Holiday rentals with a pool in Braga

A casa do Faial is an exceptional place. A very nice house full of character, indoors and outdoors with a lovely garden and a lovely pool. A real jewel and the responsiveness and kindness of the owner comes to make up for the slightest setback. Excellent value for money.

Very pleasant and peaceful house. As a Portuguese family, we found the essence of what makes the Portuguese: hospitality and kindness. Antonio was a nice daddy for the kids and Filipe is very responsive and good advice for our outings and questions. the pool is very nice too. This house in the middle of nature is very beautiful and quiet. congratulations on this refreshing place.

Margarida, was an amazing host! She made us feel very welcome and relaxed upon arrival. Throughout our stay Margarida was also there for anything we needed being very responsive to messages and providing support with everything from questions about her place to recommendations locally! A very beautiful house with vast, stunning grounds. My family and I spent a lot of time exploring, lying by the pool, and sitting in the courtyard. The house itself is quite special. We didn’t spend much time inside as the weather was so beautiful, but we were very happy with our bedrooms and the kitchen. We had a few small issues: there are no mosquito nets in the pool house, so our guests that stayed there were bitten; the kitchen sink blocks easily and had to be unblocked daily; the nights were very warm and we had to buy our own fans. Overall we were very happy, and Domingos and Antonio were very helpful.

It is an ideal house, very comfortable and complete. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor BBQ. Highly recommended. Super accommodating host. Always attentive and waiting for everything to be fine. Many thanks Dunas

The apartment is absolutely great: spacious, characterful, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The whole setting is wonderful: a fabulous position up in the hills, with friendly dogs, chickens and an unusual breed of sheep (Cameroon)! The historic cities of Braga and Guimaraes are very close, each offering a range of attractions. Virginia, together with her delightful family, could not have been more helpful, ensuring that our stay was really enjoyable. She looked after us extremely well, providing excellent communication beforehand, lots of goodies upon arrival and helpful recommendations about what to see in the local area. We had a very memorable few days, for which many thanks.

Spacious and functional house for a group of friends like us or a large family, a good pool, a great living area and an amazing football field! The pictures correspond in full and we were very well received by Patrícia, friendly and helpful.

I had an amazing time staying at this Airbnb. The house was fully stocked! The host was super proactive and communicated with me every step of the way if we had any issues. The host also worked with our check in time to make sure the transition was smooth. Be mindful the location is on top of a hill with a steep narrow drive. The view was amazing and the neighbor’s friendly as well. One thing I would definitely suggest is to confirm with both the host and Airbnb the exact amount of guests staying ahead of time. The property’s insurance policy is strict so you wanna make sure you communicate clearly. This confusion was easily cleared up. Also, remember this does not mean you cannot have extra guest visit just be mindful. Overall highly recommend and would definitely go back again! It was scenic and peaceful, just what we needed.

We had a great stay, the accommodation offered was totally in line with what we had seen in the photos, very clean with good quality furniture, very quiet. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and the garden superb (congratulations to the owners for the maintenance!). André and his wife are very pleasant and full of attention (for example we received mint and lemons from their garden). Although the house is inhabited by the owners, the private garden of the accommodation and its separate entrance give a real feeling of privacy. Access to the pool is very appreciable when it is hot. Although the accommodation is a little far from the shops (only a bakery and pharmacy nearby), this is largely offset by a very quiet and relaxing environment for a vacation! We'll definitely be back on an upcoming trip to the area. Thank you André for your welcome and see you soon!

Ludo and Park were truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond by sharing fantastic local recommendations and insider tips, which really enriched our trip. The space itself was spotless, bright, and wonderfully spacious. Having our own private pool was an absolute treat, especially during the hot weather. The location couldn’t be better: everything is within walking distance, and public transport is a breeze to use. I honestly have no complaints; it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be booking again when I return to Porto. Thank you so much, Park and Ludo! ❤️

Amazing apartment with a lovely sense of space and air. Lovely little swimming pool too. There was a little noise from some construction next door but the host was helpful around that.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

Daniel is extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and very quick responses. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend any of Daniel's private tours which are much more personal. if we return to Porto we would definitely stay here again.

João was a very kind and gracious host. He was always willing to help and was patient enough to take time out of his Friday evening to tend to us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment. We would definitely stay here again!

It was easy to locate the apartment, whenever necessary we had no problem talking to Mr. Domingos. The apartment is just like the ad, it has a good pool and is by the sea. We'll come back

I spent two weeks at the apartment and had a very warm welcome from the host. Maurizio took his time to explain everything in detail and gave very handy recommendations. The apartment is very clean and had all equipment you could need for a short or longer stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the wifi was fast and stable. The view from the balcony is beautiful and there are 2 nice restaurants, a mini supermarket, gym/pool, cafés, etc. in walking distance. The beach is super near and definitely worth visiting. It’s very popular among water sport fans. There are several ways to get to the other side/city (ferry, bus and also Uber works good here). 5 stars for this beautiful place!

Our stay was excellent! Elsa was over the top in every way! We had a gift of wine and custard tarts when we got there, Elsa arranged a reservation at an amazing restaurant and she responded quickly to any inquiry. Would definitely come back to this beautiful sanctuary.

We had an excellent family holiday at this lovely Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close to local attractions. Our host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing getaway!
