Great self-contained house with everything I needed for my stay. Would suit a single person or couple perfectly. Very close to town, easy to walk to shops (notably the fantastic boulangerie and patisserie) and right across the road from the beautiful Abbey. A short walk through historic streets to the chateau at the top of the hill. There is a lovely courtyard area and garden above the house with views of the town.

Nice place for a family reunion: the outdoor spaces are very nice and the meals in the shade of the lime tree are very enjoyable, The house is very well equipped and its freshness is comforting in hot weather. The proximity of the Creuse also makes it possible to cool off. Finally, the children were able to attend the milking of the cows at the neighbors' very friendly. Beautiful experience to repeat

We loved this place. This is what we were looking for for a holiday. A large, spacious house that is suitable for families or holidays with friends. We really liked the dining terrace in the yard and the courtyard itself. Convenient and beautiful. You can cook a barbecue. We spent a lot of time outside there. There is access to the river and fishing is available if you want. Yvan and Maeva are very helpful hosts. If we had any questions, they got in touch with us quickly. All questions were provided with feedback and help. There was a moment when there was a technical problem in the house. On the same day, the issue was resolved, although it was Saturday. I had a good experience with the place and the hospitality of the hosts.
