Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Mark the host gave us super easy and clear instructions to get to, and get in the caravan which made things super easy. The caravan is absolutely stunning, so clean inside with absolutely everything you need, from plates, cleaning products, even a slow cooker and dishwasher. Everything was left for our one year old including a cot and blankets, and they even had bubbles, loads of games and books for all ages. The WiFi worked really well and honestly we couldn’t fault it. The site was lovely, although there wasn’t loads to do for the kids, they made use of the golf, football pitches and pool. The entertainment was decent and we even won £500 at bingo! Thanks for a lovely stay!

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Badgers Rest. The home was beautifully clean, had everything we needed and in a great location. The facilities were amazing nearby too.

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

Extremely pleasant week in Kendal and surrounding area using Cathy’s lovely accommodation as our base . Fully equipped , very comfortable , lovely decor and the bonus of private parking blended with some very fine weather all added into a perfect week for our family holiday get together. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to be close to amenities within lovely surroundings…..

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Chris’s place was immaculately clean and well presented as described in the listing. It was perfect for a long weekend and is well located for exploring the western lakes. Chris was always quick to respond to questions and had plenty of helpful tips on the area.

Such a beautiful, spacious cottage in an amazing location! Very clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished, with lovely views in all directions including Catbells. We enjoyed walks from the door as well as finding new trails from nearby Buttermere.

We had a fantastic time and Dwarf Studio was just perfect. It was clean, bright and so comfortable. It had everything we needed and had a real luxurious feel to it. The bed was so comfortable and Julie had really gone the extra mile to make our stay, right from the moment we first walked the door absolutely perfect. I would recommend this to everyone and will certainly stay here again.

We have just returned home from 4 nights at Julie's ex-guesthouse and we absolutely loved it. We were a group of 5 adults, a 9 year old and 18 month old and there was space for all of us. Each room has its own ensuite and the kitchen is well stocked. The whole place was very clean and the utility room is also massive which helps if you need to do any washing while staying there. We will definitely look to use Julie's place again in the future. Julie replied in good time to any messages and is very friendly. Highly recommend as a great place to get around the Lakes from too.

Had a lovely stay at Chapel Mews - the perfect base for roaming the hills of the north lakes. Very quiet, well furnished and peaceful. Most definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here and made amazing memories. The surroundings were stunning, and we felt right at home. We loved the cottage and the little touches made the stay even better - the brownies were to die for. Rosie was a great host, and we’d love to come back in the near future.

Beautiful place with stunning surroundings. Responsive host. Well catered for. Very comfortable space with beautiful view. Use of bbq and comfy outdoor seating in the sunny weather was perfect. The place is ideally located within walking distance of local shops. Would return in a heartbeat.

The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

We had a really lovely time. Beautiful accommodation and very comfortable. Great hosts. Perfect base to explore the Lakes. Lots to do within walking distance. Would 100% recommend to anybody. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

We stayed a week in Danes Court. It’s a spacious, characterful, and very peaceful Victorian Lodge. Well equipped with good WiFi in the main rooms and TVs in the lounge and bedrooms. It’s well equipped and comfortable, and we slept well in the king size bed. We enjoyed sitting out in the afternoons (weather permitting), enjoying the peace and quiet and flutter of the birds. Danes Court is easily accessed from a very quiet road. Kendal, Windermere, and Ambleside are all within 30 minutes drive, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants/pubs within 10-20 minutes drive through beautiful countryside.

Tolles herrschaftliches Haus. Sehr ruhig! Top Lage, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Tolles Schlafzimmer und vor allem Bett. Ein so umfangreiches Willkommenspaket mit Getränken, Snacks, etc. Haben wir noch nie erlebt!
