Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bongaree

Melissa is a wonderful, friendly and welcoming host who responded to our enquiries promptly with clear instructions etc. Beautifully presented home in a great quiet location. Interesting gardens, plants and landscaped yard also provided adequate privacy. Appreciated the thoughtful range of bathroom products provided with plenty of towels, pillows and blankets, pool toys etc. Kitchen had all the appliances you could want and appreciated the great range of coffees, teas, spreads and pantry items provided. The welcome gift packs were enjoyed by all of us and our dog! A really lovely holiday home - will definitely book again when we can. Helen

Our family of 5 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful time staying in this big and clean house. The kitchen was well stocked and the sheer amount of kids utensils was impressive. There was plenty of space to move around, media room and the pool table added on to the fun. The only minor issue was that we thought the heated pool would be warm enough in winter but it wasn’t and the kids didn’t manage to get a dip. Nonetheless, glad to have stayed here. What a lovely home to have our family holiday in. So much to do for a multigenerational gathering. The kitchen area was easy to navigate with multiple people at one time. We also made good use of the bbq area downstairs and the firepit was a big drawcard for toasted marshmallows. All you could need for tennis, basketball and ping pong. A really wonderful space, thank you Brigid and Neil.

Wow wow wow. We stayed at Rowan House for Mum mum’s 80th a perfect house for a large (11) multigenerational group. Given the house is about 80 years old itself, was a fitting venue. Moya is an amazing host, very quick to respond to questions and , and met on arrival to explain the ins and out of the house. The house itself is a beautifully presented, quirky, rambling old house perched on the side of the mountain with great views back to the coast. A great entertaining house - bedrooms are all well presented with quality linens and plenty of pillows/ blankets. The kitchen is perfect for feeding a large crowd - plenty of fridge spaces, ample everything you need. Moya unexpectedly, and very kindly, had stocked us with some staples and plenty of party starters. Fire place, tennis’s court, great views - was all fantastic. The only complaints we had were that we had to leave so soon.

We loved staying here! Was honestly the cleanest Airbnb we have been to. Couldn’t fault it. Osvaldo was easy to communicate with and open to updating the number of people staying with notice. The house was really well decorated and felt like a cosy home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had full amenities including a coffee machine and air fryer, which we used often. Our overall experience was 5 stars. We had a great stay and would love to come back again. Thanks for a wonderful week 😊

Thank you for a lovely stay. The home was just as described. Probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in - everything was spotless. The water park was perfect for the kids. Oaks Oasis put on kids entertainment over the weekend (magician on Saturday afternoon and water rocket making on Sunday morning). Was lovely to be able to buy snacks by the pool. Was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had with two small kids.

What a brilliant week we had. This place is beautiful and made our family holiday. Donna is absolutely lovely and made everything a breeze. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for everyone wanting a perfect getaway!

Great location with fantastic views, perfect to sit, relax and unwind. Fully appointed kitchen to prepare your own meals, or lots of great options nearby to eat out. Easy walk to the shops, supermarket, Sunday markets, riverfront, beaches, restaurants and cafes. Had a great stay. Thanks Mark and Emma.

Amazing stay with small kids - the apartment comes with everything you need from someone who knows toddlers. From baby wash and bath toys, kids toilet seat, plastic cutlery and plates, toys, puzzles and colouring books, spare sheets for the portacot, beach trolley and sand toys. The kids loved the waterpark, the jumping pillow and feeding their leftover chips to the eel in the restaurant fishpond. The washing machine and dryer were great, the dishwasher and kitchen facilities were perfect, the couch is comfy, the main bed is a king, and being on the top floor at the end limited the noise from other apartments. Having two bathrooms was a luxury. We loved the resort facilities and the short stroll to the beach. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay! Gorgeous interior design and very functional for our family of 5 - the two bathrooms was especially great. Note there is a 90 degree view as it is a side apartment, but lovely all the same. The only thing that detracted from the setting was the derelict house next door.

OMG!! This accommodation is beautiful, spacious, very clean, tidy and so relaxing after along drive. The bed was so comfy, the kitchen area was huge has everything that you need in a kitchen. Our host Erin is amazing 👏 makes you feel welcomed and she response fast to any questions that you may have to make your stay comfortable with an easy and fast check in. We had a wonderful three night stay at Nikita’s apartment! It was a really great location, we were able to walk, bus, train and ferry all around the city. The apartment itself was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed! Nikita was wonderful to communicate with and was so helpful and accomodating. Thank you for hosting us!

It is a perfect apartment near the Brisbane river. Everything is wonderful in this nice and clean apartment.

Andres and Marian's place was incredible. we stayed for my Grandmothers funeral and the place was so homely that it made the emotional weekend so much easier for us. the communication with the host was great and they supplied so much. clean linen and the most comfortable couch in the AC to relax on after a hard day. I cannot think of anything to say other than we will be back! also the plants and cuttings around the unit made me feel at home ❤️ the kids loved the pool too!!!! and me... haha

Selina’s place is a great central location! Walking distance to Albert Street shops and Queen Street mall, great restaurants, and a park across the road. Easy walk to the central bus station, easy to catch a bus to Suncorp Stadium etc. Selina’s place was well equipped with everything you could need for a stay! She greeted us on check in and showed us around which we really appreciated! The pool is a bonus, with great views to the Brisbane river! Would highly recommend :)

Lovely place to stay in a fabulous complex. The apartment was a great open space with all the facilities and equipment you could ask for. Communication with the hosts was always rapid and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Very clean and presentable apartment. Great location and easy walk to restaurants, Brisbane Exhibition & Convention Centre, rail station (South Brisbane). Yet still quiet Benny is a responsive communicator and provided very clear instruction on how to access the apartment.

Beautiful location and view. Lovely quiet accommodation with everything we could have possibly needed. Extremely clean and fresh. Excellent communication from host. 100% would recommend!
