Holiday rentals with a kayak in Blue River

My family and I really enjoyed our 1 night stay at this beautiful house! Robin was such a a great host that responded to questions and/ or concerns in a very timely manner! The scenic drive to the location was A+! The house itself truly did not disappoint!! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy; inside and out! Would totally recommend! Thanks Robin!

Everything was good! The walk down the lake isn’t too terrible, we drove to a trail and parked and then walked down! The kayaks were such an added bonus for us, we had so much fun; however, we did have to rinse them off a bit beforehand! The home itself has many outdoor sitting areas which is great and we enjoyed those! Most of the true beach accesses were closed due to high lake levels, I would in the future let guests know of those conditions upon arrival, it took us a bit to find somewhere that was close by and open, I asked Lauren where to go since we are not from the area and she quickly called and told me exactly where to go and we had a great time! Lauren is great as well, quick responses and very friendly! The beds were super comfy and clean as well, our only issue was the lights in the kitchen did not work, but we made do with flashlights and I’m sure just a light bulb was out, not a biggie for us!

Great place to stay house had everything for guest, outside lake equipment to wine and bbq supplies. We will definitely be back the host was very friendly, thanks again Karen.

Stayed over the weekend for a fishing tournament and the location was perfect as it was near Catfish Bay Marina. The house was clean, decorated and very welcoming! The host Ruthann was very friendly and accommodating!! Highly recommend!

Connie is a fabulous host and the home provides all the necessities for the travelers. It’s very thoughtfully stocked! She is accessible and communicates from booking until you arrive to make sure the stay will be perfect. Highly recommend Charlie’s place!

Our group had a great time and the house fit our needs without issue. The basketball court got a lot of use during the day, and we all remembered we are too old for such things, but still had fun. The kitchen was spacious and provided all we needed to cook food for the 9 of us. The back yard was very large and the trees provided shade opportunities. A few of us used the paddleboards and enjoyed the lake, while the rest of us sat on the beach chairs hoping to watch them fell off the boards. The owners graciously allowed us to shoot off some fireworks, with our promise to do so over the water and not too late in the evening.

The Host was very responsive and were very responsible. Texoma had a very heavy snow fall on the weekend we planned to visit. Sarah did agree to change our booking without extra cost. But we were lucky as we didn’t have to postpone our trip . The weather got better gradually . Sarah is very responsive and a helpful host. Once we lost the key during our stay and we were unable to get inside . We called her and she immediately helped us to get inside the house without any issues. She drove quickly to our BNB to handover the extra key . We felt so grateful to her. The host does understand the needs of the customers. Thanks to the Host and Sarah for being so nice and kind. This place is very near to the Lake Texoma, just 2 mins drive. Only drawback, there was no vent in the bathrooms, which is the only thing I am not happy about. Otherwise nice and cozy place to stay and have fun. We found deers walking and crossing the streets. Lots of trees. Very beautiful place for a short trip

We spent Mother’s Day weekend here with our family. It was with grandparents and three sets of families with small children and was perfect for our group. The house was absolutely beautiful with an amazing backyard and view! We loved how spacious the living room, kitchen and yard was for eating and hanging out. The host had everything we could need for a perfect weekend: fully stocked kitchen, bathroom towels & toiletries, snacks, and plenty of games and activities for the children to play. Home was clean and spotless and beds were comfortable. Host was also very responsive and accommodating, making us feel very welcomed! Unfortunately, we came to Lake Texoma during a flood so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beach or water activities, but we definitely plan to come back when lake conditions are better to try again! However, we still enjoyed the view and being outdoors with the firepit for s’mores, soccer, football, ball toss, etc.

This is our second time coming back here and it is fantastic! The staff is nice and the setting of the cabin is so calm and peaceful it was perfect for just getting away from the city and enjoying nature! Will definitely come back here again!

My family and I stayed at this lovely place for Christmas and we couldn’t be happier. We loved to bring our pup and enjoy the outdoors this place provided. Will definitely love to come back.

Amazing and cozy place set out on a beautiful piece of land that you get to enjoy all to yourself. Absolutely everything about this place from the kitchen to the couch to the fireplace to the porch swing was above and beyond.
